The Surviving Cast Of “Leave It To Beaver” Reunites! See Them Now!
Leave It To Beaver premiered on CBS in 1957, but the network dropped the show after just one season. ABC scooped up the iconic Cleaver family, and they made the network their home for the next five seasons. Ward, June, Wally, and Beaver were about as idyllic as a family could be. Even though the two Cleaver boys found themselves in a bit of mischief with their friends, Ward and June loved them unconditionally. They always turned their misgivings into a valuable lesson. Leave It To Beaver is one of the most well-known television shows ever, and fans continue to watch it almost 70 years later.
Former “Leave It To Beaver” Cast Mates Reunited Recently
While many of the beloved cast of Leave It To Beaver have passed away, several are alive, including Beaver Cleaver himself. Jerry Mathers, who portrayed the freckled-faced titular character, shared a photo of himself with friends at a recent reunion.
“I had so much fun at our ‘Leave it to Beaver’ reunion at the The Hollywood Show recently with my cast members left to right, Stephen Talbot (Gilbert), Jeri Weil (Judy), me, Luke Tiger Fafara (Tooey) and Veronica Cartwright (Violet Rutherford). Thank you to everyone who came out to see us,” Jerry posted on Facebook.
Leave It To Beaver Fans loved seeing Jerry and the gang together again after all this time. They represent a wholesome era many wish still existed.
“Great photo. My gosh, I have to give you all a big Thank You for sharing your sitcom with us. In fact I still watch it; I need to, it helps keep me centered. Since I’m 68, I find it so relatable,” a fan wrote. “I remember when I was a kid, that quarter went a long way. I didn’t hold a dollar bill until I was in 6th grade. Blessings to you all. I’m Alex from LA.”
This person agrees and makes the Leave It To Beaver gang a part of their daily life.
“I still watch ‘Leave it to Beaver’ every morning, I must have seen them 100 times, still get some laughs,” they wrote. “I even got my twin granddaughters hooked & they’re going to be 13 on Wednesday, June 18th, some things never change, great job guys!!!!”
