Why Are US Students at the Bottom Struggling So Much

In light of the tanking approval ratings for the Democratic Party overall, the Left’s push for violence, such as attacking Tesla vehicles and murdering healthcare CEOs, has become their way to find solace.  A recent survey conducted by the NCRI and Rutgers University revealed the Left’s intense hatred towards President Trump and his administration. If someone murdered Trump, 55 percent of self-identified liberals would say that the murderer would be at least “somewhat justified,” including 13 percent of respondents finding it “completely justified.”  The assassination attempt on Trump at his campaign rally in Butler, Penn., was met with posts by both Republican and Democratic lawmakers condemning political violence. For the Left, this warning seems to have fallen on deaf ears. (READ MORE: Trump vs. the Left’s Incitement to Violence) DOGE founder Elon Musk is also on the Left’s hit list. According to 31 percent of all respondents, murdering Musk would be “somewhat justified,” with 48 percent of left-of-center respondents claiming the same. Within that same group, nine percent of them responded that it would be “completely justified.”  The NCRI survey also found that over a third of leftist respondents found destroying Tesla dealerships “partially acceptable” as an act of defiance over Musk’s involvement in the Trump administration. Queries run by survey researchers on BlueSky found strong engagement amongst BlueSky users with posts discussing Luigi Mangione, the Left’s hero for murdering United Healthcare CEO Brian Thompson. BlueSky posts and Reddit forums were evidenced in the report, where one BlueSky user posted, “It would be a good time for Luigi to be freed and for Trump to then take in a show at Fords Theater.”  Republicans and the Trump administration are making efforts to combat the violence. Attorney General Pam Bondi stated that the violence on Teslas is a form of “domestic terrorism” and that the Department of Justice will be continuing its investigation into the attacks and making arrests. In late March, Republican Sen. Marsha Blackburn attempted to pass a resolution condemning acts of “violence, arson, and domestic terrorism” on Tesla properties. “There is absolutely no reason why Democrats should oppose this resolution. They should join Republicans and let the United States Senate speak with one voice: political violence and domestic terrorism have no place in our country,” Blackburn stated. The Vancouver Police Department in British Columbia used the following heading to lead a recent report it posted on X: "VPD investigates after Tesla passenger injured by flying rock." That's right: A "flying rock." '"[F]lying rock." You’re hilarious. The rock flew into the pregnant woman’s TESLA. All by itself. Sigh.' Before we unpack the responses the department received due to its word choice, let's have a look at what police found out. Police said a woman — who is pregnant — "was struck and seriously injured by a large rock that smashed through the windshield of her Tesla in East Vancouver" on March 30. The woman was a passenger during the incident, which took place around 8:45 p.m., police said. The driver of the grey 2022 Tesla was traveling north on Nanaimo Street, and as it passed East 27th Avenue, the two-pound rock "smashed through the windshield and struck the woman before ending up on the floorboard of the vehicle," police said. “We are working to determine whether this was a criminal act, and if someone intentionally targeted this Tesla,” Sgt. Steve Addison said. “This very serious incident could easily have resulted in someone’s death, but for a few inches.” Police said the victim "sustained a serious but non-life-threatening injury and is recovering." Police also said they "don’t yet know where the rock came from or what caused it to strike the vehicle." Police added that witnesses or those with dashcam video taken on Nanaimo Street between East 29th and East 22nd between 8:40 and 9 p.m. on March 30 are asked to contact VPD at 604-717-4021. It also isn't clear if the incident was politically motivated. Vancouver police deployed 130 additional officers over the weekend the incident occurred to help keep the peace at various Tesla Takedown events, Global News reported. Leftist attacks against Tesla vehicles — and even Tesla owners — have occurred in well over 20 American states to date, and all of it appears motivated by anger at Tesla CEO Elon Musk for aligning with President Donald Trump and running his administration's cost-cutting DOGE department. How are observers reacting? As noted previously, responders to the police department's X post took issue with its "flying rock" reference, among other things. The U.S. Supreme Court said Monday that President Donald Trump can temporarily resume deporting illegal aliens under the Alien Enemies Act of 1798. U.S. District Judge James Boasberg temporarily blocked summary deportations by the Trump administration invoking the 1798 act against members of the vicious Tren de Aragua gang. Many accused Boasberg, who was appointed by former President Barack Obama, of being motivated not by the law but by political bias. 'An activist judge in Washington, DC does not have the jurisdiction to seize control of President Trump’s authority to conduct foreign policy.' The nine justices unanimously agreed that those migrants subjected to deportation had some due process rights to defend themselves against improper gang identification, but a narrower ruling of 5-4 vacated the Boasberg ruling. Liberal Justice Sonia Sotomayor called the ruling "indefensible" in her dissent. "The Government’s conduct in this litigation poses an extraordinary threat to the rule of law," wrote Sotomayor. "That a majority of this Court now rewards the Government for its behavior with discretionary equitable relief is indefensible. We, as a Nation and a court of law, should be better than this."Amy Coney Barrett also joined the dissent with Sotomayor, Elena Kagan, and Ketanji Brown Jackson. "Critically, even the majority today agrees, and the Federal Government now admits, that individuals subject to removal under the Alien Enemies Act are entitled to adequate notice and judicial review before they can be removed. That should have been the end of the matter," read the dissent. U.S. Attorney General Pam Bondi praised the ruling in a post on social media. "The Supreme Court sides with the Trump Administration on the Alien Enemies Act. Tonight’s decision is a landmark victory for the rule of law," wrote Bondi. "An activist judge in Washington, DC does not have the jurisdiction to seize control of President Trump’s authority to conduct foreign policy and keep the American people safe," she added. "The Department of Justice will continue fighting in court to make America safe again." Last month Trump called for Boasberg to be impeached, which led Chief Justice John Roberts to rebuke him in a rare public statement. "For more than two centuries, it has been established that impeachment is not an appropriate response to disagreement concerning a judicial decision," Roberts wrote. "The normal appellate review process exists for that purpose."He had also previously spoken out against accusations of judges being biased based on the party affiliation of the president who appointed them.
