Foo Fighters Drop Live EP
Foo Fighters have released a live EP “Are Playing Where??? Vol. 1″ available exclusively on Bandcamp.
Recorded during September club gigs, proceeds will go towards local charities working to combat food insecurity in the cities where the shows took place (San Luis Obispo and Santa Ana, CA, Washington, D.C., and New Haven, CT).
An accompanying press release claims the set is an “absolutely ripping live tracks recorded in front of dozens, possibly hundreds of lucky fans at the band’s recent surprise club gigs.”

“Alone + Easy Target,” “Exhausted,” “Wattershed” and “Weenie Beenie” originally appeared on the band’s ’95 self-titled debut album. “Winnebago” also came from that era. “White Limo” first appeared on the Foo’s seventh album, ’11’s “Wasting Light.”
Foo Fighters played their first concert with drummer Ilan Rubin on September 13th at the Fremont Theater in San Luis Obispo, CA. Prior to the San Luis Obispo concert, Foo Fighters had been off the road for a year.
