The New York Post reported: Locals close to the family told the outlet that Dorgan — who murdered his ex-wife and 23-year-old son, and critically wounded three others when he opened fire during a high school hockey game at a Pawtucket ice rink Monday afternoon — influenced Colantonio’s twisted obsession with race.The gunman, who went by Roberta after undergoing gender reassignment surgery in 2020, had vile neo-Nazi tattoos on his bicep and a history of spewing antisemitic and racist filth on social media. The day before his rampage at the hockey rink, Dorgan posted an anti-Asian slur as he replied to a video praising Adolf Hitler, saying, “Really nice but a c—k made that song.” In other posts, he made repeated references to “white power” and “white pride world wide.” Colantonio was the half-brother of Aidan Dorgan, who was shot dead during their father’s killing spree. While investigating the arson attack on the church, police discovered that Colantonio wrote some very sick, racist statements in his notebooks. Authorities said Colantonio bought a Bic lighter and $10 worth of gas from a local gas station before walking over to the Shiloh Gospel Temple Ministries, a Pentecostal church with about 100, mostly black, members. Once at the church, Colantonio poured gasoline around its base and ignited five different fires, all of which were quickly extinguished – but not before causing significant damage to the church. ‘Due to the damage, church congregants were prevented from enjoying their free exercise of religious beliefs as church services were canceled until the church could be reopened,’ federal prosecutors said. Just one day after the blaze, court documents showed Colantonio privately messaged an unidentified family member and said no one in the community cared about the arson. In those messages, he called the church ‘Atheist God mockers,’ adding: ‘They’re busy dancing around collecting money.’ Colantonio ultimately pleaded guilty last year to one count each of malicious damage by means of fire and obstruction of free exercise of religious beliefs, the Providence Journal reports. His attorney, Kara Hoopis Manosh, argued at sentencing that her client had a history of mental illness starting at the age of four. Prosecutors also acknowledged Colantonio had mental health issues, but argued it does not excuse him from setting fire to the church ‘nor does it adequately explain his actions targeting a group of people because of their race and religion.’ Colantonio was then ultimately sentenced last June to more than six years in federal prison for the arson at the church and for throwing feces and urine at correctional officers. He is now serving his sentence at a federal prison in Fort Worth, Texas. Notably, Colantonio started living with his father as a teenager around the same time he started dressing like a woman. Per the Daily Mail: But records obtained by the Globe show Dorgan – who has said on social media he is a father of six – lived with Colantonio in North Providence around 2004, when Colantonio was a teenager. It was at around that same time that Dorgan began cross dressing, Ruggiero said. He later transitioned, which court documents show caused strain within his family, as Rhonda cited his ‘gender reassignment surgery, narcissistic and personality disorder traits’ as grounds for divorce in 2020. In an act of pure evil, a 21-year-old man in Michigan has been arrested after running over a family who were taking a walk together. After mowing the couple and their child down with his car,  Alexander Lamar Banks Jr. got out of his vehicle, pulled out a gun, and opened fire. The couple’s 3-year-old daughter Harlow was fatally shot and killed at the scene. The two parents, Cameron and Paige, have been hospitalized. An elderly Good Samaritan woman named Barb who stepped in to try to help them was also taken to the hospital in critical condition. CBS News has more details: On Tuesday, Alexander Lamar Banks Jr. was charged with homicide, four counts of felony firearm, three counts of assault with intent to murder, carrying a weapon with unlawful intent and possession of a loaded firearm in a vehicle. Eaton County deputies say that a family was out for a walk around 5:30 p.m. on Feb. 13 near Green Meadows and Farmstead Lane in Delta Township when a vehicle struck the family. The driver then got out of his vehicle and fired numerous shots toward them, according to authorities. A bystander who tried to help was also attacked and seriously injured, deputies said. A suspect was located by deputies and taken into custody with the help of the Michigan State Police. A 3-year-old girl was pronounced dead at the scene, deputies said. A 72-year-old woman was taken to an area hospital, where she was listed in critical condition, authorities said. A 37-year-old man and a 33-year-old woman were also hospitalized. For over six weeks now, two U.S. pilots have been trapped in a rough West African prison. In late December, 63-year-old Brad Schlenker and 33-year-old Fabio Espinal Nunez were flying a private plane carrying a Brazilian family to Dubai. They landed for what was supposed to be a brief re-fueling stop in Guinea, where they were ambushed by soldiers and unlawfully arrested despite doing nothing wrong. Now, they’re calling on President Trump to intervene and help them return home to their families. Watch this clip from CBS News New York: Authorities in Guinea have charged the two pilots with making an unauthorized landing and invading Guinean airspace. However, the pilots say they received clearance to land in the country multiple times. Military.com reported: Initially, while in the air, they were asked if they had a landing permit specific to Guinea. They were unaware of a special permit, but requested and allegedly received clearance to land at least three times before landing at Ahmed Sékou Touré International Airport in Conakry for a fuel stop, with the intention of continuing their flight. Family members and U.S. media outlets report that the pilots had filed flight plans and received air traffic control clearance to land for fuel. Upon arrival, however, Guinean security forces reportedly surrounded the aircraft with approximately 100 heavily armed personnel who were screaming at the pilots in French and detained both men on the tarmac. Dogs searched the plane several times. Guinean authorities later charged the pilots with offenses related to unauthorized landing or entry into national airspace, despite the pilots’ insistence that they had permission to land through normal aviation channels. Public reporting has not included any official Guinean charging documents or judicial filings explaining why the asserted clearance was deemed invalid. International aviation law recognizes that each state exercises complete sovereignty over the airspace above its territory, a principle codified in Article 1 of the Convention on International Civil Aviation, commonly known as the Chicago Convention. While international flight operations rely on standardized procedures and coordination, sovereignty allows states to criminalize unauthorized entry or landing under domestic law. What remains unresolved is whether Guinean civil aviation authorities initially granted clearance and whether another government entity later rejected or overrode that authorization. Aviation industry reporting has described the case as hinging on conflicting interpretations of clearance validity rather than allegations of espionage or other national security offenses. But a NEW ADDITION to the towering monolith-like building has raised the bar. Not only is it hard on the eyes, but it is causing cranial pain! Maybe Obama believes his own propaganda; maybe he truly thinks the Obama Presidential Center actually looks… nice? But if he has fooled himself, he hasn’t fooled the internet. And the most recent addition didn’t just reignite the longtime critics because the structure lacks aesthetically pleasing qualities (it’s ugly…) — but it is now LITERALLY giving people headaches! But the STYLE of the lettering is what has stirred up most of the fuss, keeping with an outdated “Brutalist-style” of design — as highlighted in this report from Fox News: Former President Barack Obama’s presidential center in Chicago is again coming under scrutiny for its architectural design — this time leaving locals scratching their heads over confusing text wrapped around the top of the building. “I’m outside the Obama Center museum tower right now,” Chicago Sun-Times architecture critic Lee Bay posted to X Monday, sparking a deluge of mockery from locals and conservatives. “The new letters – an excerpt from Obama’s Selma speech – are tough to read to me, giving off the lorem ipsum vibes,” he added, referring to placeholder “dummy” text frequently used in graphic design templates to fill space with scrambled Latin. The construction includes a 225-foot museum tower with the text of Obama’s 2015 speech in Selma, Alabama, marking the 50th anniversary of Bloody Sunday, when civil rights demonstrators were met with violent resistance from local law enforcement in a watershed moment that helped galvanize support for the 1965 Voting Rights Act. The campus has come under scrutiny from locals over gentrification concerns and over its Brutalist-style of architecture, a post-war-era style popularized in the 1950s known for its modular and minimalist designs. For locals in Chicago, they’ve dubbed the building the “The Obamalisk,” according to the New York Post, in a jab at the Brutalist-inspired design. Which only amplifies the drab ugliness of the building. Apparently, that’s a utilitarian design feature meant to protect the decor intended for the interior of the main structure. I guess, maybe… points for not making it ugly on PURPOSE?  (Maybe I’m being too generous.) That was according to an Obama Foundation official quoted alongside longtime Obama ally Valerie Jarrett recently in regards to the Center’s design and appearance, as reported by the New York Post:   “They somehow managed to make the Obama presidential library even uglier,” conservative influencer Johnny Maga said bluntly. “My gosh.” The building’s austere look has previously drawn comparisons to the “Death Star” and a “concrete tomb,” but an Obama Foundation official explained in December that the design was meant to evoke unity, not Darth Vader. “The shape of the building was actually meant to mimic four hands coming together to show the importance of our collective action,” Obama Foundation deputy director Kim Patterson told CBS Chicago. The 225-foot tower’s windows are few and far between, which Patterson noted was also purposeful. “There are not a lot of windows on the building, but that’s intentional because sunlight is just not a friend to the artwork and the artifacts that are going inside of the building,” she said. Obama Foundation CEO Valerie Jarrett, who served as a senior adviser during the former president’s two terms in the White House, noted that Obama has been very involved in the design of his library. “I wish that people could be a fly on the wall to see how many times in the course of the day that I hear from President Obama about ideas for the center, tweaks, programming, what we can do for the design,” Jarrett said. Obama’s sprawling 20-acre presidential center is expected to open next June in Jackson Park, on the South Side of Chicago. I could literally go on and on about how ugly that place is. How much money it has cost.  (It’s creeping up on a BILLION dollars at this point!) But I want to close this story out with something that really raised my hackles in relation to his Presidential Center — because I’m betting our readers will have the exact same response. If I didn’t know better, I’d almost assume the ugliness of the building was meant to be a smokescreen to intentionally hide the ugliness of the purpose! But it’s probably far more reasonable to just assume that a proclivity towards ineptitude — and a pushback against skill and merit-based hierarchies — goes hand in hand with the inability to create beauty. Have you SEEN what a man looks like… when he tries to masquerade as a woman!?  (I know you have…) The Barack Obama Presidential Center is the architectural equivalent; stemming from the same fundamental worldview, prioritizing the same skewed principles. Based on that, it really shouldn’t surprise any of us how ugly the place is. Or… that it KEEPS GETTING WORSE! But I have to admit — it still does.

The cause of death of Pulp Fiction actor Peter Greene has been released. Two months after Greene was found dead in his New York City apartment, the New York Chief Medical Examiner has released the cause of his death. According to the report, Greene was accidentally shot in the armpit. People provided further details from the Medical Examiner’s notes: Peter Greene’s cause of death has been revealed, two months after he was found dead in his New York City apartment on Friday, Dec. 12. New York’s Chief Medical Examiner office said Wednesday, Feb. 18, that Greene, who was 60, died of a “gunshot wound of left axilla with injury of brachial artery.” (The axilla is the armpit.) The manner of death was deemed an “accident.” Greene’s death was first reported by the New York Daily News. His manager Gregg Edwards confirmed he was found dead in his apartment in a statement obtained by PEOPLE Dec. 13. Edwards told NBC News that a wellness check was conducted at Greene’s home after music was heard playing in his apartment for over 24 hours. In other words, Peter accidentally shot himself in the left armpit, and the bullet damaged the artery that supplies blood to the arm, elbow, forearm, and hand. As you know … Greene was found dead in his Manhattan apartment in mid-December after a neighbor heard music coming from his apartment all night and called the police when they knocked on the door, and no one answered. Police conducted a welfare check and found Greene deceased. Greene was best known for villainous roles in Pulp Fiction (1994) and in The Mask (1994).

The strike ended in November after voters approved a fifth contract proposal from Boeing.
