New Koe Wetzel coming soon. This week, the Texas rocker shared a taste of the new music he’s been working on with fans, sending a text via his fan club number asking which song they liked best: “Which song #1-6?” The text features a link to a video that has been cut up to include teasers six songs, and the video is simply titled “New Album Teaser,” so I think you’d obviously be safe to assume all of these tracks are going to be on a forthcoming album. Koe most recently put out 9 Lives in 2024, which led to him scoring his first-career #1 hit on Billboard’s Country Airplay chart with “High Road” featuring Jessie Murph. In terms of his personal life, Koe also welcomed his first child, Woods Madison Wetzel, with longtime girlfriend, Bailey Fisher, back on May 23rd. He’s been busy with a newborn, but it sounds like he’s also found time to work on new music, and with a teaser like this, it’s likely that an album announcement will be coming pretty soon. Koe has released a few singles since he put out 9 Lives, including “Surrounded” and most recently “Werewolf,” though it’s unclear if those will be part of the tracklist on this next record. He’s been quieter than usual this year in terms of his musical output, I’m sure that has a lot to do with becoming a father, but I know fans will be excited to hear he has a new project on the way and my guess is that it’s slated for release in early 2026. U.S. government attorneys say they have cleared all the hurdles needed to send Kilmar Abrego Garcia to Liberia and are asking a federal judge to dissolve an order blocking his deportation. Abrego Garcia’s mistaken deportation to his home country of El Salvador earlier this year has helped galvanize opposition to President Donald Trump’s immigration policies. His attorneys claim the administration is now manipulating the immigration system in order to punish him for successfully challenging that deportation. A motion from the government filed in U.S. District Court in Maryland late on Friday says officials have received assurances from Liberia that Abrego Garcia would not face persecution or torture there. Further, it says an immigration officer heard Abrego Garcia’s claims that he feared deportation to the West African nation, but ruled against him.

British Muslim journalist Sami Hamdi, who has been held by US federal immigration for over two weeks, is set to be released and allowed to return to the UK. The London-based journalist and commentator, who was visiting the United States on a speaking tour, was detained by Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) last month as he went through San Francisco International Airport.

What makes a 'good person' is hard to quantify, but sometimes, you just know it when you see it. But that's the problem, you can't always see it. Have you ever met somebody new and wondered if they were a good person with a mischievous streak or a bad person who can turn on the charm and behave occasionally? Determining someone’s true moral character is important, especially if you start dating them or have a business relationship. It is crucial to get to the core of who they are and know whether they can be trusted.Popular TikTok philosopher and Substack writer Juan de Medeiros recently shared a great way to determine whether someone is good or bad. His rubric for judging someone’s moral character comes from a quote commonly attributed to Johann Wolfgang von Goethe, a German poet, playwright, novelist, and intellectual known for works like Faust and The Sorrows of Young Werther.How can you tell if someone is a good or a bad person?“Here's a pretty good indicator that somebody is a bad person and vice versa, how you can spot a good one.
