Amos is either a horrible son or the funniest kid on the planet. He is on TikTok and Instagram as Amosthakid, and he has a considerable following. He might seem like a horrible son because he is constantly pranking his dad. For viewers, his posts are comedy gold. Hardly a day goes by when the young man is not pulling some prank on his dad. It’s a bit difficult to follow, but this prank on his dad began with Amos texting a clip of an article with the headline, “Man Wanted for Stealing Chicken from Store.” The “article” had an image of his dad, and Amos said he found it on the internet (he created it himself). The questions and disbelief were immediate. He asked Amos what news it was on, then stated he was suing. Amos asks if he is sure he didn’t do it, then says there is video of the theft. This brought about cries that the video is fake. Amos continued laying it on thick for this prank on his dad. When his dad asked which news again, Amos replied that it was on several and sent a few more images of news clips. And then Amos began to ignore his calls, texts, and voice messages. By that time, his dad was practically in hysterics. Nature is amazing. Every day, we see incredible displays of nature “doing its thing.” If you are lucky enough to witness these moments, it is a cause for celebration. She was doing just that when she caught the teeny-tiny aphid with some captivating dance moves. At first, it seems the little animal is swaying with the breeze. However, within seconds, it seems to sense the camera and turns to face it. Looking directly into the lens, the little bug rocks back and forth, moving its little feet. While captivating, the dance intimidates predators. It frightens you, right? Maybe seeing hundreds of bugs together having a dance party might be more intimidating? Some people refer to these as “boogie woogie” aphids. While they do seem to be dancing to unheard music, they are, in truth, harming trees. The insects suck sap from trees and secrete a substance that the black soot fungus eats. In many ecosystems, natural predators control aphid populations, causing no long-term harm to trees. The appearance of one teeny-tiny aphid performing a dance on her chair probably is not a cause for concern. Kindylle should keep an eye on the trees in her yard to see if this stray tiny dancer is alone or one of thousands. He might be a traveler, stopping for a rest.
