When A Horse “Sneaks Up” Behind You, This Is Not What You Expect To Happen…
This is the tale of a beautiful jumping horse. His name is Billy Colman, and Summer Tanner owns him. He is a light gray horse and is making waves on the equestrian circuit for his jumping abilities. He is a proud horse, majestic in stature. According to Summer, there is “Not a single thought in that lil head.” He is a funny horse, though.

Did you catch what that funny horse did? The sloppy tongue on the back of the neck? “Mooommmmm, pay attention to me!” When people are near, Colman wants all the attention. Whether it is Summer, some random kid, or even a chicken. Imagine the most perfect show jumper on the planet with the personality of Donkey from the Shrek franchise.

Colman is a happy horse who loves Summer beyond measure. The two seem bonded beyond a mere horse and rider connection. Whether goofing around in the pasture or competing, the bond is strong.
We’re not sure where they came up with his name, which is unusual for a horse. It might be from the protagonist, Billy Colman, from “Where the Red Fern Grows.” The 1961 novel by Wilson Rawls was adapted into a movie in 1974. Set in the Ozarks of Oklahoma, it centers around Billy, a boy of ten, who raises and trains two Redbone Coonhounds for hunting.
Colman isn’t the only funny horse out there. Watch as this silly horse limps because her trainer is limping. Another horse, when left with a baby, became an instant babysitter and started making goofy faces for the child. Animals are so amazing.
