Fun Farm Animal Pastimes! Homesteaders Work Hard AND Play Hard

Humans aren’t the only living creatures that enjoy a good time! We still have a little while before Winter takes off and Spring nestles its way into being. Our animals get cabin fever just like we do, sure they go out into the cold and are ok but they get bored as well. I personally, enjoy spending quality time with my critters big and small but I also enjoy playing and having fun with them. I don’t know if you know this or not but chickens love to swing and some horses enjoy a round of soccer. Read on to learn some fun farm animal pastimes! Fun Farm Animal Pastimes I learned long ago that when an animal gets bored and has too much time on their…. Well, their claws, hooves, or feet they sometimes begin misbehaving. That’s right folks, any animal can behave much like a young toddler when there’s nothing to do, getting into things they’re not supposed to, escaping their pens, making a mad dash for the neighbors, etc. With that in mind, I’d like to share a few ways you can have fun with your farm animals, it doesn’t have to be anything expensive or elaborate rather something that makes them think, run, and enjoy the time. Horses & Goats I don’t know of any animals so far that don’t enjoy a game of ball in one way or another. I mentioned earlier that horses enjoy soccer but any medium to large sized ball will do. Goats will also play soccer with you BUT if they have their horns you may want to choose your ball wisely. Horses and goats are very much like dogs in the way they enjoy playing, some horses and goats will even play fetch with a tennis ball but they don’t always like to give the ball back. Chickens & Ducks Chickens love swinging on swings! You can make your own or you can actually buy pre-made chicken swings. Ducks love to swim, I’m pretty sure that is an obvious fact. In the winter sometimes the water in the pools freeze and the ducks will ice skate, I’m just kidding! So when the ducks can’t enjoy their favorite pastime here’s what else works, don’t laugh. If you get some meal worms or grubs and tie them to the end of the string you can give your ducks a run for their money. They’re very similar to cats in a game of chase, however, their reward when they catch the string is a tasty bug. Pigs We all know that pigs are the most like dogs out of all the farm animals. Whatever you do with a dog you can almost guarantee you can do with a hog, in terms of fun that is. Pigs really like attention more than anything other than eating. They almost always enjoy whatever your farm dog enjoys doing down to running through the mud. Pigs like to be pampered and so far that I see that’s their favorite pastime. So get a nice soft brush and give your hog some TLC, they’ll love you forever for it. There are many farm animals that I could list and many of them enjoy playtime. Not all of the animals enjoy the same thing, there will be some horses that feel as though playing ball is not for them, maybe they’d rather go on a run or play tag with the pups. Anything is possible really. I like to raise any of my animals up from babies with constant interaction between us humans and them. It creates bonds and trust. The more time you spend observing and interacting with your critters the more you will learn about each one's personal preference of play time. Remember our animals can experience just about anything we can, so if you notice your critters getting into trouble or misbehaving maybe they need some extracurricular activities to help pass the time. We’d love to hear any of your fur and feathered babies favorite things to do. As always please feel free to drop us a line or two and share with us some of your animals silly stories or pastimes! Stray Cat with Gentle Spirit Longed for the Comfort of Home Life, Finally Got His Wish, Couldn't Be Happier

A stray cat with a gentle spirit had longed for the comfort of indoor life and finally got his wish. He couldn't be happier. HerbieStrayCatClubFor a while, Herbie, the cat, had been living as a stray, weathering the harsh outdoor conditions and fending for himself against other animals.A Good Samaritan who cares for local community cats first noticed him when he began visiting her garden for food and soon returned for more. He was fixed with the help of a local rescue and continued to receive daily meals from his kind-hearted caretaker.Over time, she noticed a change in the cat as he grew curious, showing interest in her house. He was finally safe after years outsideStrayCatClub"Since being neutered, Herbie longed for the comfort of indoor life," Stray Cat Club shared. With many cats already in her care and an upcoming move, she knew she couldn't continue caring for Herbie but was determined to give him a fresh start. She found a rescue committed to finding him a loving forever home. Within hours of being in foster care, he snuggled up to his humansStrayCatClub"He's had a rough time living as a stray, but his gentle spirit has stolen all of our hearts."Herbie came to a foster home through Stray Cat Club, and within the first hour of being there, his laid-back and easygoing nature began to shine through. He nestled beside his foster carer for a much-needed nap, making up for lost sleep. He found his favorite napping placeStrayCatClubEstimated to be 4-9 years old, Herbie is a delightful cat, always seeking out the coziest spot in the house where he can indulge in a long slumber. He follows his people around the house, keeping them companyStrayCatClub"Thankfully, his toughest days are behind him now. This sweet boy absolutely adores human company and will happily follow you around or settle beside you for head and belly rubs."While he enjoys keeping his people close, he's quickly learned to steer clear of the vacuum - though who could blame him? StrayCatClubHerbie doesn't seem to miss the outdoors much. He lounges comfortably on his throne in the cat tree or by the window, basking in the warm sunlight and watching the world go by."He's a super sociable cat who would fit beautifully into a family with children and other cats. He really has such a gentle and loving nature." StrayCatClubHerbie is starting to play with toys, rediscovering his inner kitten, but more than anything, he loves spending his day snoozing away, dreaming of a world where the food bowl is never empty and beds are always comfy. Twofer: Wegmann Hits Biden on Kamala Attacking DeSantis, KJP on Woodward Book

With much of the national media ghoulishly obsessing over fringe conspiracy theories about Hurricane Milton and Russia-related claims from Bob Woodward’s new book, Real Clear Politics’s Philip Wegmann actually did his job Wednesday in pressing White House Press Secretary Karine Jean-Pierre on claims in the Woodward book about Ukraine and President Biden reportedly regretful he made Merrick Garland Attorney General. A few hours later, Wegmann asked President Biden about the wholly manufactured news cycle claiming Florida Republican Governor Ron DeSantis is ignoring Vice President Kamala Harris (who has no power over any aspect of the federal response).  That question came after Biden spent much of his time blaming Trump for alleged misinformation and Harris’s Fatal Attraction-like obsession with bashing DeSantis: .@PhilipWegmann on Hurricane #Milton: “Mr. President, does Governor DeSantis need to take Vice President Harris’s calls?” Biden: “All I can tell you is I’ve talked to Governor DeSantis. He's been very gracious. He thanked me for all we've done. He knows what we're doing and —… pic.twitter.com/vORstA1omG — Curtis Houck (@CurtisHouck) October 9, 2024 Rewinding to mid-afternoon’s White House briefing, AP’s Aamer Madhani, The Independent’s Andrew Feinberg used part of their question time to invoke claims from Woodward’s book that then-President Trump sent then-scarce COVID-19 tests to Russian dictator Vladimir Putin and has spoken with him numerous times since leaving the White House. While he also went down this rabbit hole, NBC’s Gabe Gutierrez also asked about Biden allegedly having used expletives to describe Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu. Wegmann wasn’t having any of this. In contrast, he wanted to know why Jean-Pierre engaged with the unsubstantiated claims about Trump and Putin when she usually doesn’t “often speculate about hypotheticals.”     Jean-Pierre mumbled this word salad: It’s speculation, but if it’s true, because I knew — right — we all knew that you all will have — will have questions about — uh — uh — uh —  for us about the national security concerns, about our thoughts about this and so, if it is indeed true — right — we’re talking about President Putin here. We see what’s happening in Ukraine — Russia’s aggression in Ukraine. That’s about democracy. That’s about Ukrainians fighting for their freedom, and we have heard the former President say and lobby against the — the funding — uh — for Ukraine. So, yeah, if it is true, it is indeed concerning because we’re talking about our national security here, so we wanted to be — wanted to be very, very clear and so, I’ll leave it there. In Doocy-like fashion with the flattery ahead of the hook, Wegmann hit Jean-Pierre with this claim from the book: “Does President Biden regret making Merrick Garland his Attorney General, as Mr. Woodward has reported?” Jean-Pierre was unamused, claiming that speculation was fine since it involved Putin and “national security”, but otherwise she wouldn’t because “there’s going to be many books written about an administration” and “[i]t’s not — it’s very much typical — uh — and I’m just not going to comment on every specifics every — uh — every — uh — matter that comes up or any particulars that come up.” Wegmann shrewdly closed with a question about Ukraine since Jean-Pierre said she would speculate since the Trump-Russia claims were matters of “national security” (click “expand”): WEGMANN: Mr. Woodward also reports that according to intelligence reports, the White House officials here believed that there was as much of a 50 percent chance that Russia would use a tactical nuclear weapon in Ukraine. I mean, is — is that 50 percent odds number — is that accurate? And if so — JEAN-PIERRE: Yeah? WEGMANN: — would this administration, you know, let the American public know that that kind of risk is real? JEAN-PIERRE: Again, I’m not going to speak to everything — uh — that is in a book, every particular — uh — there’s going to be many books written and we understand that. It’s not atypical — uh — but I won’t respond to every piece in the book. Elsewhere in the briefing, Gutierrez, CNN’s M.J. Lee, and ABC’s Selina Wang obsessed over this overblown rippling of misinformation in questions to FEMA Administrator Deana Criswell (click “expand”): EE: The White House has been talking a lot about the threat of misinformation, disinformation as it relates to strong recovery efforts. Can you talk to us about whether there’s one piece of incorrect information that you think in your view has been most damaging that you think would be most important to clarify? (....) WANG: Can you give any specific examples about the real world impact that disinformation is having? Both in terms of are you seeing people who aren’t taking precautions because they don’t trust the government or FEMA or NOAA and then, in terms of the threats to FEMA workers. Have you seen any threats against some of them on the ground? (....) GUTIERREZ: You said before that you have dealt with misinformation in the past. Why do you think that misinformation is so rampant this time around? Is it because of the election? Is it because of certain politicians? Is it because of tech platforms? Or is it because of potentially a foreign actor? To see the relevant transcript from the October 9 briefing, click here.

Kamala’s border failures EXPOSED in nightmare ‘60 Minutes’ interview

Kamala Harris has landed a series of softball interviews with friendly, partisan hosts — but her recent interview on “60 Minutes” with Bill Whitaker strayed far from that trend. “I've been covering the border for years, and so I know this is not a problem that started with your administration,” Whitaker began. “But there was a historic flood of undocumented immigrants coming across the border the first three years of your administration.” “As a matter of fact, arrivals quadrupled from the last year of President Trump. Was it a mistake to loosen the immigration policies as much as you did?” he added, before Kamala gave a meandering non-answer. “It’s a longstanding problem, and solutions are at hand, and from day one, literally, we have been offering solutions,” the vice president answered. While another interviewer might have let that slide, Whitaker wasn’t having it. “What I was asking was, was it a mistake to kind of allow that flood to happen in the first place?” he asked. Kamala then gave another non-answer, telling Whitaker that the policies she’s been promoting are about “fixing a problem, not promoting a problem.” “But the numbers did quadruple,” Whitaker softly responded, almost as if talking to a child. Kamala went on to champion the Biden administration cutting “the flow of illegal immigration by half” and blamed Congress for further inaction. “There’s so much absolute drivel in there,” Dave Rubin of “The Rubin Report” comments, disturbed. “First, you don’t need Congress to do anything.” “We don’t need more laws to take care of the border. As a matter of fact, what you guys did immediately when you got into office is get rid of Donald Trump’s executive actions that were stemming illegal immigration,” he adds. 10 bold moves red states can make to end the illegal immigration surge

Do we not already have enough criminals in this country? When will we finally reach the point where we say “no more” to repeat offenders, including drunk drivers, sex offenders, drug traffickers, and gangbangers from other countries? The time has come for states — especially those led by Republicans — to take a firm and unified stand. Holding a special session right before the election, as early voting begins, offers the perfect opportunity to bring this issue to the forefront. We could fill pages daily with stories about repeat violent criminal aliens committing horrific rapes, murders, and DUI homicides, taking the lives of Americans in their prime through entirely avoidable crimes. We are also beginning to see the effects of bringing in millions of migrants, particularly in small towns like Springfield, Ohio, Charleroi, Pennsylvania, and Sylacauga, Alabama. Time and again, we hear this is a federal issue and that states lack the power to combat or deter this invasion. Not so. It’s time for Republican governors and legislatures to step up and address this issue once and for all. States must stand firm and refuse to recognize any amnesty Joe Biden and Kamala Harris attempt to grant in the final months of their administration. With the November election approaching, every Republican governor should convene a special legislative session aimed at deterring illegal aliens from entering red states. Here are 10 strategies: Declare an invasion: The session should start by passing a resolution that acknowledges the state is facing an invasion and invokes powers under the Constitution’s compact clause. Article I, Section 10, Clause 3 allows states to engage in defensive actions if “actually invaded” or facing “imminent danger” that requires immediate response. After four years of inaction from the federal government, states can’t wait any longer. Criminal aliens, transnational gangs, fentanyl trafficking, human trafficking, and the strain on public services pose an undeniable danger. While states don’t need to wage war, they can use their authority over internal order, policing, and public health to restrict, deter, and, when possible, encourage illegal aliens to deport themselves voluntarily. Declare a public health emergency: Large numbers of illegal aliens are arriving from countries with diseases not common in the United States, including Haiti, according to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. We all remember the extent to which states exercised police powers over public health during the pandemic, shutting down churches, businesses, and even restricting breathing to prevent disease spread. States even imposed travel bans on residents of other states. If they could do that, they can certainly apply similar restrictions to foreign invaders who are gathering en masse under chaotic conditions and creating a public health threat. We’ve already seen outbreaks in migrant shelters. What happened to the public health concerns that overrode natural rights in 2020? Incarcerate or expel criminal aliens: Stories of illegal aliens with records of drunk driving, drug and weapons charges, and robbery committing additional serious crimes appear daily across every state. GOP governors should adopt a clear policy: The first crime an illegal alien commits in a state should be his last. In a letter to a GOP congressman, ICE revealed that its non-detained docket includes 7.6 million aliens, among them individuals with 662,566 total criminal convictions or charges. This group includes aliens convicted of more than 13,000 homicides, 15,811 sexual assaults (plus 9,461 convicted of other sex offenses), 851 kidnappings, nearly 3,400 weapon offenses, over 2,000 robberies, 56,533 dangerous drug convictions, 14,301 burglaries, and 62,231 assaults. Many of the most serious offenders are currently in state or local prisons, but others remain free on the streets. This is especially true for "low-level" offenders, such as roughly 130,000 traffic offenders, 70,000 drug offenders, 31,000 charged or convicted of larceny, 17,000 weapons offenders, and 17,500 burglars. The federal government has not removed these people, including 1.3 million who already have final removal orders. This is where states must step in. Each legislature should impose significant sentencing enhancements for those who commit any crime after entering the United States illegally. For aliens arrested for minor crimes that don’t require incarceration for justice, states should offer a diversion program. This program could provide a suspended sentence in exchange for self-repatriation. States could even cover the cost of a plane ticket and grant leniency, as long as the person doesn’t return to the state. This approach combines incentives and consequences to encourage self-repatriation without risking accusations of states actively engaging in deportation. Federal law implicitly supports the idea of self-removal during or outside a criminal trial under either federal or state law. Outlaw illegal presence in states: The above approach would target criminal aliens caught committing additional offenses. To deter all illegal aliens, states need to make illegal presence itself a crime. Oklahoma’s House Bill 4156, passed last session, aimed to do just that, though a federal judge has currently enjoined it. As a contingency, states should strengthen penalties and enforcement of related crimes involving illegal immigrants, such as trespassing, criminal vagrancy, identity theft, tax fraud, human trafficking, and harboring illegal aliens. States should leverage enhanced sentences to encourage self-repatriation, avoiding judicial interference. State agencies should rigorously investigate identity theft by cross-referencing welfare benefits, driver’s licenses, and employment records for duplicates. Additionally, individuals arrested for offenses tied to transnational gangs like MS-13 or Tren de Aragua should face even harsher sentencing enhancements. Beef up employment enforcement: If illegal aliens cannot get jobs, they will not come. That’s the bottom line. Right now, only six southeastern states and Arizona require universal E-Verify, and even these states often fail to enforce the law vigorously. Additionally, many employers use labor brokers, who officially hire these workers on behalf of local companies, to sidestep regulations. States must start prosecuting these labor brokers for human trafficking and evading state laws against employing illegal workers. Eliminating job opportunities will significantly reduce illegal immigration. Reject Biden’s amnesty: Joe Biden continues to offer various forms of quasi-legal status to illegal aliens through unlawful parole programs or by expanding Temporary Protected Status. States must stand firm and refuse to recognize any amnesty Joe Biden and Kamala Harris attempt to grant in the final months of their administration. For state purposes, they should treat those individuals as illegal aliens. Bar illegal aliens from public schools: It’s unfair for American children and parents to see their schools overwhelmed by illegal immigrants with different cultures and languages, who may pose security risks. This issue has even reached small, rural districts facing a surge in such enrollments. The right to K-12 education for illegal immigrants stems from the activist court ruling 42 years ago in Plyler v. Doe, which applied the equal protection clause to illegal aliens. The current Supreme Court might rule differently. At the very least, states should bar all prospective illegal immigrants or those who can't prove they arrived before 2021. Or states could require a state-issued photo ID (rather than just a utility bill) to prove residency in a school district, applying the same standard to all residents, similar to voter ID requirements in many red states. Since most red states, except Utah, don’t issue photo IDs to illegal immigrants, those individuals would be ineligible to register for school under a residency verification law applied equally to everyone. States should also require disclosure of immigration status during interactions like motor vehicle registrations, business license applications, welfare benefits, financial transactions, and arrests. State agencies should maintain a database of this information, including names, addresses, and Social Security numbers, for informational purposes. Florida has already implemented such a policy in hospitals and has reported a decline in illegal immigrants using those services. States could share this information with ICE, enabling federal action if a future administration takes a tougher stance on immigration. Use zoning laws to limit town transformations: Small towns like Springfield, Ohio, Charleroi, Pennsylvania, Colony Ridge, Texas, and Sylacauga, Alabama, have faced rapid changes due to an influx of immigrants. While some claim that small towns have no power to stop this, a reporter on my podcast noted that Charleroi’s transformation stemmed from local business interests buying homes on Main Street and converting them into de facto “labor barracks.” Local governments can use zoning laws to ban multi-unit dwellings and other living arrangements that attract illegal immigration. Although localities can’t make immigration law, they can use housing, transportation, and criminal vagrancy ordinances to discourage settlement in their areas. End the 'unaccompanied minor' scam: Hundreds of thousands of volatile and violent teens enter our communities under humanitarian statutes, aided by sponsors who often lack legal status themselves. States should require sponsors of unaccompanied alien children to register with state child welfare departments, which must verify any claimed family relationship. This step would deter bad actors from perpetuating child trafficking and immigration status manipulation. Revoke licenses of nonprofits aiding illegal immigration: A Florida Grand Jury found that several federally funded NGOs provide illegal immigrants with cash cards, cell phones, and even “safari-style guide maps,” aiding the invasion. States should criminalize activities that facilitate illegal immigration, similar to the unenforced federal law that makes it illegal to encourage or induce unlawful entry into the United States. States should also revoke business licenses and state recognition of NGOs that violate these laws. Republicans at the national level have given up key leverage points in addressing this issue. States where Republicans control the executive and legislative branches need to act now.

Melania Trump reveals personal de-banking experience: Is your financial freedom at risk?

In a revealing Sunday interview with Fox News’ Maria Bartiromo, former first lady Melania Trump revealed some of the political backlash she has faced as the wife of embattled former President Donald Trump. First lady Trump revealed that “the bank suddenly informed me they will not be able to do business with me anymore.” She also claimed that an “email distribution service provider just rapidly terminated my agreement.” As Farage himself pointed out, 'This is serious political persecution at the very highest level of our system. If they can do it to me, they can do it to you, too.'These instances of disenfranchising people may seem only to affect the individuals, but the practice of de-banking has broader consequences as well. She also detailed an incident with a university involving a philanthropic effort. She was donating money to help foster students gain access to scholarships. The university initially accepted her donation but, upon learning her identity, refused to accept her contribution. In this incident, Melania said, “They didn’t want to do business with me because of political affiliation, my political beliefs.”Organizations refusing to associate with individuals over political differences is not a one-off occurrence with the former first lady; rather, this shows how ubiquitous this practice has become in our current political climate. For example, Alliance Defending Freedom’s Jay Hobbs described a disturbing trend among banks that shut down organizations that differ from them in political or religious belief. He detailed an incident involving Bank of America and Indigenous Advance Ministries, a “charity [that] serves widows and orphans in Uganda, helping to meet basic physical needs while striving to equip and strengthen Christians to share the Gospel with their fellow Ugandans.” Bank of America informed the charity that it no longer wished to associate with Indigenous Advance’s “business type” because it exceeded the “bank’s risk tolerance.” This caused many headaches and inconveniences for the organization, which was preparing for an upcoming trip to help the widows and orphans. De-banking was brought to more people's attention when, in 2023, Nigel Farage, a figurehead of the U.K. Independence Party, claimed that his banks in the U.K. were closing his accounts. There is a great deal of evidence that his bank, Coutts, did intend to “exit” Farage as a customer, including some inside communications released in a dossier and obtained by Farage. These communications included statements about him, citing “significant reputational risks of being associated with him” and that his opinions were “at odds with our position as an inclusive organisation.” Apparently, Nigel Farage holds beliefs contrary to those deemed acceptable by the banks with which he freely associated. His bank closed his account simply because it was a “bad look” to continue this association. These incidents have many worrying consequences in our heated political climate. As Farage himself pointed out, “This is serious political persecution at the very highest level of our system. If they can do it to me, they can do it to you, too.”De-banking is a serious issue that is becoming increasingly widespread. It affects political leaders and actors and trickles down to private citizens associated with political figures, their philanthropic efforts, and legitimate charities. This de-banking effort is a clear weaponization of legitimate banking practice for political and religious purposes, and organizations that engage in this behavior need to be held accountable if real politics are to continue.

Parent discovers horrifying reason why his 13-year-old son had extra funds in his bank account

A former preschool teacher's assistant has pleaded guilty to possession of child pornography after a parent in Georgia noticed there was more money in their 13-year-old's bank account than should have been. Police said that the child had been paid by Mark Penfield Eichorn to create a pornographic video of himself and send them to Eichorn. An investigation found that a 12-year-old friend of the victim also participated in the 90-second video. 'The man was working as a teacher's assistant at the St. John's Episcopal School in Abilene when he was arrested but he was terminated soon afterwards.' Georgia police contacted the Abilene Police Department, which conducted a search warrant in May at Eichorn's residence in Texas and found nude images of children who appeared to be under the age of 10 years old. After being arrested, Eichorn admitted to paying the children $200 through Venmo for the video after engaging with them through Snapchat. Digital records corroborated the admissions. He also allegedly admitted to trading child pornography on social media as well as touching a child inappropriately. Alarmingly, after Eichorn was indicted he was asked by law enforcement officials about the children in Georgia, and he responded, "just those two?" The man was working as a teacher's assistant at the St. John's Episcopal School in Abilene when he was arrested, but he was terminated soon afterward. Eichorn could face up to 30 years in prison and a lifetime of supervised release, according to the U.S. Attorney's Office. After an investigation, police also arrested another teacher and the head of school for failure to report child abuse in the case. Police said no students at the school were at risk at any time. A news video report about the heinous case can be viewed on the KTAB-TV YouTube account. Like Blaze News? Kamala lies on ‘Call Her Daddy’ as Hurricane Helene victims suffer

While victims of Hurricane Helene suffer after losing everything, Kamala Harris thought it’d be a great time to sit down with Alex Cooper of the famous “Call Her Daddy” podcast. Kamala told Cooper that she thought it’d be a worthwhile interview because she and her “listeners have really got this thing right,” which she specified as them being “real.” “What I love about what you do is that your voice and your show is really about your listeners, and I think especially now, this is a moment in the country, and in life, where people really want to know they’re seen and heard, and that they’re part of a community, that they’re not out here alone,” Kamala continued. Kamala might have failed to realize it, but just two episodes before hers, Cooper interviewed another woman on “Blow jobs, hall passes, and frat daddies.” So it’s no surprise that Cooper’s biggest question for Kamala was about abortion. “I want to take a moment and can we try to think of any law that gives the government the power to make a decision about a man’s body?” Cooper asked. “No,” Kamala laughed, repeating “no” over and over again. Dave Rubin of “The Rubin Report” is understandably exhausted from hearing Kamala’s lies. “Lady Kamala, your boss Joe was in charge of a government that forced everyone, regardless of their genitals, and I know you don’t think genitals have anything to do with gender, but regardless of their gender, you guys forced people to be injected with an experimental vaccine that turned out not to be a vaccine,” Rubin says. “Why did I see a friend this weekend who has myocarditis because of the vaccine?” he adds. The Cringe of All Media: Simping Stern hosts Kamala lovefest

You're the putative King of All Media, and you have Vice President Kamala Harris in your studio. What do you ask first? So many options! 'I plan on waking up on November 6 with Madam President,' the governor said before Kimmel silently cried, 'Cleanup on aisle 4!' If you said, “Do you nap?” give yourself a gold star. That was literally Howard Stern’s first question when the veep's softball interview tour stopped by his studio. Never mind that Harris can’t even navigate easy interviews, supplying Team Trump with more commercial fodder than any campaign could crave. Just know that Stern followed up his fawning interview with President Joe Biden a few months back with another cringe-fest weeks before Election Day. Howard, it’s time to hand over your crown … Walz-y move Harris’ ace VP pick isn’t much better. Gov. Tim Walz sailed through his softball question barrage from Jimmy Kimmel this week, the host practically waving a flannel shirt in the air to remind us that Walz is just reg’lar folk. And then Walz pulled a Walz. “I plan on waking up on November 6 with Madam President,” the governor said before Kimmel silently cried, “Cleanup on aisle 4!” Final 'Boss' Amazon Freevee is “Sorry Not Sorry” about ending its “Who’s the Boss?” reunion plans. The streamer flirted with an update on the ABC sitcom starring Tony Danza and a young Alyssa Milano. The actress is much better known these days for her far-left bona fides and hosting the “Sorry Not Sorry” podcast. Maybe her becoming a hard-left radical who alienates large swaths of the country factored into the decision … Feig fumbles 'Jackpot' If Judd Apatow once ruled as Hollywood’s King of Comedy, Paul Feig was its crown prince. Feig co-produced “Freaks and Geeks” with Apatow and later directed “Spy,” “Bridesmaids” and “The Heat.” He also directed episodes of “The Office,” ”Parks and Recreation” and “30 Rock.” Not too shabby. And then he foisted the “Lady Ghostbusters” debacle on an unsuspecting public in 2016. Did Feig misplace his funny bone? Has anybody seen it? He expanded his genre focus after that debacle (“A Simple Favor,” “The School for Good and Evil”) before returning to comedy with this year’s “Jackpot!” That Prime Video original might be the worst comedy of the year. Years, to be exact. So the news that he’s directing “The Housemaid,” a thriller starring Sydney Sweeney, brings a sigh of relief. There’s nothing funny about Feig’s comedy tailspin … Warner Bros. to Phillips: Joker's on you Todd Phillips, meet the Warner Bros. bus backing over you. Phillips’ “Joker” earned the studio north of $1 billion back in 2019. That gave Phillips all the creative freedom necessary to make a musical sequel. Yes, “Joker: Folie a Deux” is a musical about a murderous mental patient and his new gal pal (Lady Gaga). The film, naturally, is tanking stateside. Now, according to World of Reel, studio suits are using industry mags to blame Phillips for the debacle. They’re not wrong, per se, but using studio leaks to malign an artist who swung for the fences and missed feels wrong. But it’s oh, so right for kind, tolerant Hollywood … 'SNL' dunks on Dems Is “Saturday Night Live” regretting its transformation into MSNBC light? The show’s bipartisan approach to political satire evaporated during the Obama years. It's only gotten worse since then. The show mostly ignored President Joe Biden’s obvious mental decline and VP Kamala Harris’ word salad recipes. Yet the first two “SNL” episodes of the new season, its 50th, suggest the show may be trying to channel its earlier incarnation. Over the weekend, Jim Gaffigan played Gov. Tim Walz as, well, a knucklehead. The show even had Gaffigan, a raging anti-Trumper off screen, reciting Walz’s “friends with school shooters” line from the recent VP debate. Maya Rudolph’s Kamala Harris is shown drowning her sorrows in wine, a possible nod either to those who think she’s a cool wine mom or that her incoherency is tied to the bottle. It’s even more noteworthy because we’re mere weeks from Election Day and “SNL” has been a reliable part of the Democrats’ machine for more than a decade. Even a far-left sketch show may not be able to resist the grossly incompetent Harris-Walz ticket.
