Best gacha games on PC 2024

What are the best gacha games? A spiritual successor to the traditional Japanese coin-operated gachapon machines, gacha games take the joy of capsule toys and translate them into a live-service videogame format, as players wish on limited-time banners with a chance to pull their favorite characters. Whether you love to hate them or hate to love them, gacha games are here to stay, and we’ve got the top picks for you. The best gacha games balance the low barrier to entry that comes from a free PC game with reasonable odds when pulling for premium characters, so that you can still have fun without being pushed into opening your wallet. We’ve also endeavored to include gacha games on this list that deliver engaging stories and gameplay alongside the built-in gambling mechanics. From massive open-world games to time-travelling card games, you might find a gacha game on this list that’s perfect for you. Continue reading Best gacha games on PC 2024

Solo Leveling Arise review – far from a Genshin killer

Adapting anime into a videogame always feels like it should be a cakewalk. So many shows use power systems and storylines that go hand-in-hand with gamification, yet too few anime games ever live up to the potential of their source material, often feeling like fleeting diversions at best or empty cash grabs at worst. So does Solo Leveling Arise - based on an anime whose entire plot revolves around the protagonist's new videogame powers - buck the trend? Well, that depends. Vibrant ’90s Steam rally racer coming soon, has a demo to test drive

Strap in and hold on to your roll bars racing fans, because a new game has just come skidding around the horizon. Drive Rally is the spiritual successor to Pixel Perfect Dude's endless vehicle game Drive, and aims to capture the essence of the '90s golden era of racing. It even has "helpful but sassy co-pilots" like Hans, who sounds an awful lot like Arnold Schwarzenegger. Continue reading Vibrant ’90s Steam rally racer coming soon, has a demo to test drive

One of Paradox’s most beloved games launches massive new expansion

Europa Universalis 4 has, in the nearly 11 years since it came out, established itself as a titan of the grand strategy genre. Created by Paradox Development Studio, the company behind other strategy hits like Stellaris, Crusader Kings 3, Victoria 3, and Imperator: Rome, EU4 has maintained a strong fan base not just for the quality of the original game itself, but also because of the ongoing work Paradox has devoted to it for more than a decade. The latest example of this dedication is its new expansion, Winds of Change, which has just launched. V Rising, now out in its final version, is blowing up on Steam

V Rising quickly became one of the top RPG games when it first came out on Steam in Early Access back in 2022. Thanks to a grim horror fantasy aesthetic similar to Diablo 4 and survival and base building elements like those found in Valheim and Rust, creator Stunlock Studios' vampire game garnered a lot of attention as soon as it became available. As of today, though, it's out in its finished form and, as a result, has shot up Steam's charts as audiences start digging into the full version. All V Rising bosses, locations, and rewards

What are all of the V Rising bosses? As V Rising rises out of early access, there have been some changes to its bosses. A few new additions, changes in their rewards, and level adjustments. For the sake of completion, we have the list of every single boss in V Rising including Simon Belmont who joins the lineup of bosses as part of a crossover with Castlevania. One of the major changes coming with V Rising 1.0 is the way you obtain spells. Instead of bosses dropping specific spells, you now earn Spell Points within their respective element and tier which the player can spend freely. Later on, you also have the option to reset your spend Spell Points so there is no reason to fuss over which ones to pick. For more on that check out our ultimate V Rising beginner guide here. Where to get Wheat in Hades 2

IQUNIX Little Prince ZX75 review – pretty as a picture

There is an undeniable charm that radiates from the IQUNIX Little Prince ZX75, and this shine doesn’t wear too quickly, but it does serve as a distraction for some of the shortcomings of the keyboard if you want to use it as a gaming peripheral. With some adjustments, the IQUNIX Little Prince ZX75 could be among the best gaming keyboards thanks to its incredible visual design, but the fact you would need to rip it apart and spend extra cash on new switches is somewhat disappointing. That being said, if you have an attachment to Antoine de Saint-Exupéry’s The Little Prince, and are in need of a keyboard with a fantastic typing feel, IQUNIX has created the perfect product for you.
