Michael LaRosa — who once worked as former First Lady Jill Biden’s press secretary — went scorched earth on his ex-employer during a recent Fox News appearance, saying that President Joe Biden and his family were “allergic to transparency.” LaRosa joined “Fox & Friends: Weekend” on Sunday to discuss the recently-released audio of former President Joe Biden’s interview with then-Special Counsel Robert Hur, and he commented specifically on how difficult it was for even those working for the Bidens in the White House — like himself — to get a “straight answer” out of anyone. I mean, the very first day walking into the White House, the usher was fired and I couldn’t get reporters straight answers because nobody would give me straight answers.” “It was not intuitive to them, it was not their style, to be transparent about anything,” LaRosa continued. “They took days and months to be deliberative, and I’m talking about the small things. About when the dog bites occurred, or about the wedding with the grandkids. They got caught lying to the press about press coverage because they were so scared to be transparent about anything.” LaRosa said he eventually got to the point where he had to consider the possibility that if they were unwilling to be even the slightest bit transparent on the little things, “My God, what would happen if there were big things?” LaRosa’s comments came just two days ahead of the release of “Original Sin” — the book from CNN anchor Jake Tapper and Axios reporter Alex Thompson on Biden’s obvious cognitive and physical decline — and hours before Biden’s office revealed that he had an “aggressive form” of prostate cancer that had metastasized to his bones.

The hosts of ABC’s “The View” complained during Monday’s broadcast about former President Joe Biden’s cancer diagnosis and people who might bring politics into it — immediately after which they injected their own politics by trying to make it about President Donald Trump. Whoopi Goldberg started the ball rolling, reacting on the show to the news that Biden — who had just appeared on the show a little over a week earlier — had been diagnosed with an advanced and “aggressive form” of prostate cancer that had metastasized to his bones. Goldberg laughed off claims that there was any cover-up regarding Biden’s health or cognitive fitness, and then used a clip from his recent appearance — where former First Lady Jill Biden had been forced to step in and help him answer a question — as proof that he was fine. She then complained that the new revelation regarding his cancer diagnosis would only “add fuel to the fire” for those who already believed that the Bidens had not been telling the truth about his condition. In truth, the moment involved several men, women, and an energetic dog. The pupper got loose, and several people jumped in to help the frustrated owner corral her. While Roberta watched, the comedy was real. The best part was the dedicated man who hid behind the pole. He grasped the happy little animal, but it proved too slippery for him and quickly wriggled away. Hopefully, they did manage to capture the little pup eventually. The dog was thoroughly enjoying itself. She bounded from the boardwalk area, through the water, and cheerfully evaded every attempt at capture. He might be considering offering the dog to whoever catches it. Roberta said they watched this endless game of keep away for 45 minutes. The animal’s response would tend toward that guess being correct. This activity is completely within the “norm” for a doodle.
