During a rally on Friday, former President Donald Trump played a new ad which takes aim at Vice President Kamala Harris by using her own past remarks against her. Harris, the Democrats’ effective 2024 presidential nominee, has an extremely left-wing history in politics, and voiced similarly radical positions during her failed 2020 presidential run. Video clips of those staked out positions by Harris were compiled by Trump’s team and featured in the new ad. The ad opens up with the text, “Here’s what Kamala Harris would do as president” as audio plays of Harris bragging about being “radical.” It then shows the VP voicing support for the controversial Green New Deal, issuing a total ban on fracking, supporting gun confiscation, eliminating private health insurance, providing taxpayer-funded health care for illegal immigrants, and supporting the radical “defund the police” movement, among other far-Left issues.
