Getting Creepy: Just Call Doug and Kamala, Momola & Dad

The media insists on calling the Democratic candidates for president or vice president mom and dad. It is quite freakin’ creepy. It’s propaganda on a new level. And don’t try calling Kamala a childless cat lady. Politico’s Latest: The White House might be getting a wife guy as the country’s first-ever “first gentleman.” […] Emhoff […] The post Getting Creepy: Just Call Doug and Kamala, Momola & Dad appeared first on www.independentsentinel.com.

Bob Casey Only Senator To Take Money From Group Pushing More EB-5 Visas

Sen. Bob Casey (D-PA), who is running for re-election against the GOP’s Dave McCormick, accepted a $5,000 donation from a group pushing for more EB-5 visas, which have been used by Chinese nationals to enter the U.S. in high numbers. Federal Election Commission filings show that the Immigrant Investors Association/Invest in the USA PAC donated to Casey in June. Casey is the only Senate candidate to have accepted a donation from the group, the New York Post reported. “The overhauled EB-5 program, which requires a minimum investment of $800,000 for certain projects, has drawn the attention of Chinese nationals,” The Wall Street Journal noted in August 2023, adding, “In May, Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis signed a series of bills banning Chinese nationals from buying land in the state unless they are U.S. permanent residents.” “Mainland Chinese nationals scored 6,125 out of the total 10,855 in fiscal year 2022,” The Post pointed out, adding that “Chinese citizens have historically constituted the largest nationality of those seeking visas through the EB-5 program.” Tickets for “Am I Racist?” are on sale NOW! Buy here for a theater near you. “Casey was at a June fundraiser hosted by one IIUSA PAC lobbyist and attended by another,” the Post reported. “Both of the lobbyists, Commonwealth managing partners Keith Pemrick and George McElwee, have been involved extensively with EB-5 issues.” Casey’s cynicism regarding immigration has been in evidence for years. “Since taking office in 2006, Casey has voted several times against border security measures during years he was not running for re-election while calling for stronger border security in years when his name was on the ballot,” Fox News reported. For example, in 2024, Casey introduced legislation “aimed at fortifying security along the southwest border.” But in 2021 and 2022, when he was not up for re-election, he voted twice in opposition to drug detection at the border. In 2006, running against the GOP’s Rick Santorum, he claimed he was against amnesty for illegal immigrants. Yet in 2007 and 2013, when he was not running for re-election, he favored legislation that led to a pathway to citizenship for illegal immigrants. WATCH THE TRAILER FOR ‘AM I RACIST?’ — A MATT WALSH COMEDY ON DEI “Now that Bob Casey is in the race of his life, he’s hoping Pennsylvanians will forget he opposed building a border wall and even supported mass amnesty and taxpayer-funded health care for illegal immigrants,” National Republican Senatorial Committee spokesperson Phillip Letsou said. “Casey will say anything for power, even if that means lying to Pennsylvanians.”

The Only ‘Freedom’ Kamala Harris And Tim Walz Support Isn’t In The Constitution

The Only ‘Freedom’ Kamala Harris And Tim Walz Support Isn’t In The Constitution

Norman Rockwell would roll over in his grave if he learned what passes for freedom in the Democratic Party, seen in the Presidential ticket of Vice President Kamala Harris and Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz. Rockwell painted four scenes in the midst of World War II that captured the longing of the nation for foundational freedoms: Freedom of Speech, Freedom of Worship, Freedom from Want, and Freedom from Fear. However, Harris and Walz offer a dystopian view that empowers government, not ordinary citizens. Those freedoms are replaced with one, new category: “freedom” for unlimited abortion. Consider the violations of basic freedoms from both Harris and Walz, when in power. On Freedom of Speech: Attorney Jonathan Turley notes: “In her failed 2020 presidential bid, Harris ran on censorship,” something he both practiced and preached. As California’s Attorney General, Harris didn’t support the rights of citizen journalist David Daleiden, exposing her campaign donor, Planned Parenthood, and used the power of her office to raid his apartment, suppressing information about the alleged trafficking in human remains harvested from late-term abortions. Immediately after taking office, the Biden-Harris Administration pressured social media companies to block those who disagreed with their handling of the COVID pandemic, allegedly taking direct steps against opponents. A recent lawsuit notes accusations that the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) and Department of Justice (DOJ) engaged in “extensive” monitoring of citizens during the 2022 election season. She’s found a kindred spirit in Walz, who told MSNBC in 2022, “There’s no guarantee to free speech on misinformation or hate speech, and especially around our democracy.” That’s not exactly his story in stump speeches. Recently Walz said the “golden rule” in America is to “mind your own damn business.” Yet, during COVID he set up a snitch line, so that neighbors could inform on neighbors who didn’t tow his line. Harris and Walz abuse of weaponized governmental agencies signals trouble ahead. On Freedom of Worship: Harris was so offended by a faithful Catholic up for a job as judge, that she said in a Senate hearing that his involvement in a Catholic charity disqualified him to serve. Repeatedly, she sponsored legislation that gutted the Religious Freedom Restoration Act (RFRA), which protects people of faith from being forced to act against their conscience rights. As lead sponsor of the Do No Harm Act and the benignly named Equality Act, Harris targeted Americans with faith if they did not comply with her social engineering. And consider her passion project, the Women’s Health Protection Act (WHPA) that goes radically far beyond Roe v. Wade. In a letter to U.S. Representatives, the U.S. Council of Catholic Bishops noted: “WHPA plainly seeks to force religious health professionals and religious hospitals to perform abortions against their beliefs. If it did not, there would be no reasons for the WHPA to specifically state that it overrides the longstanding, bipartisan … RFRA– something no bill passed by Congress has ever done.” And the measure blocks states’ rights as well. On Freedom from Want: The economically inept Biden-Harris Administration forced forward a crippling measure in which Harris was the smug, tie-breaking vote for The Inflation Reduction Act. When former President Donald Trump left office, the inflation rate was 1.4%, but inflation during the Biden-Harris years topped out at 9.1% and isn’t in great shape today. While it’s reported that “average weekly paychecks” are up 14.1% in the three years of the Biden-Harris Administration, prices have risen more than 19.3%. That’s an average, consider reporting that rent is up 21.9% and food up 21.5%, while energy costs up are up almost 30%. Are we to believe that the candidate reportedly wearing a $62,000 necklace to her political events has insight into the crippling cost of bread … and what she did to make it so expensive? Freedom from Fear: Much has been written about the rising crime rate, ushered in by the Biden-Harris Administration’s open border policy, with Kamala on deck as Border Czar. But as California’s Attorney General, her soft-on-crime policies left a tragic wake in her home state. Bizarrely, she promoted a fund to bail out Black Lives Matter rioters in Walz’s home state, that “(a)mong those bailed out was a convicted rapist facing charges of sexual assault and kidnapping.” Meanwhile, Walz’s wife enjoyed the scent of burning tires, and Walz gloated while his city burned around him, sending forces into neighborhoods to frighten citizens indoors. But in the name of “freedom,” Harris flacks for the Planned Parenthood abortion business model. This isn’t the soft freedom of “choice” as that doesn’t go far enough for Harris’ who pledges to “restore reproductive freedom.” And it’s not what Roe and Doe together mutated into U.S. law – abortion without limit, for any reason, and sometimes paid for by taxpayers. She wants more. Politico reports: “”I don’t think there’s a real debate about whether we want to go beyond Roe,” said Mini Timmaraju, president and CEO of Reproductive Freedom for All who has frequently campaigned for and with Harris.” Ironically, the organization, formerly the National Abortion Rights Action League, also hides abortion behind the fig leaf of “Freedom.” A cold-hearted Harris-Walz Administration seems poised to ignore the basic freedoms enshrined in the Bill of Rights, with fealty to the one thing NOT in the U.S. Constitution – Abortion. Given their thuggish abuse of power when opposed, no one will be free who doesn’t agree with them. * * * Kristan Hawkins is CEO of Pro-Life Generation as well as president of Students for Life of America and Students for Life Action, with nearly 1,500 groups on middle & high school, college & university, medical & law school campuses in all 50 states. 50 Republican Vets In Congress Sign Letter Condemning Walz For ‘Lying’ About His Military Service

On Wednesday, Congressman Brian Mast (R-FL), who lost both legs when he served in Afghanistan as a U.S. Army explosive ordnance disposal technician in 2010, led a group of 50 Republican veterans in Congress to endorse a letter condemning Minnesota Democratic Governor Tim Walz’s lies about his military service. “The Office of the Vice President is a position that requires the trust of the American people and a solemn commitment to duty on behalf of the United States of America,” the letter began. “As veterans who have served our nation, we feel compelled to address your egregious misrepresentations and urge you to come clean to the American people.” “You have stated that you are ‘damn proud’ of your service, and like any American veteran, you should be,” they stated. “But there is no honor in lying about the nature of your service. Repeatedly claiming to be a ‘Retired Command Sergeant Major’ when you did not complete the requirements was not honorable. Nor was it honorable to claim to carry weapons ‘in war’ when you had not served in war, and abandoning the men and women under your leadership just as they were getting ready to deploy was certainly not honorable either.” Tickets for “Am I Racist?” are on sale NOW! Buy here for a theater near you. “To be blunt, when you falsely claim military service that did not happen and abandon your post, you diminish the real sacrifices made by veterans who did serve in combat,” they charged. “Military service is not merely a job or a uniform. Those who serve in the Armed Forces endure rigorous training, face perilous situations, and make sacrifices that most civilians can’t comprehend. The honor of wearing the uniform is earned through dedication, bravery, and an unwavering sense of duty. You have displayed none of these characteristics as you have lied your way through a political career launched on the foundation of a title you did not earn and combat deployments you did not take part in.” “In short, our grave concern stems from the fact that the office of the Vice President is one heartbeat away from becoming the Commander-In-Chief. You’ve already demonstrated your unwillingness to lead in time of war and a lack of honor through your blatant misrepresentations exploiting and co-opting the experiences of America’s combat veterans for personal gain,” they declared. “As a result, America’s veterans and servicemembers are rightfully concerned about what would happen to them should you ascend to the Presidency. When America asked you to lead your troops into War, you turned your back on your troops. You have violated the trust of our brothers and sisters in arms. Their blood, sweat, and sacrifice are the only reason our nation is able to exist. Until you admit you lied to them, there is no way you can be trusted to serve as Vice President.” they concluded.
