CNN Lefties EXPLODE When Scott Jennings Drops Facts on ‘Ornery’ Biden Being Forced Out

Scott Jennings and David Urban represent the lone actual, paid conservatives commentators on CNN who will be holding the fort down for the right at the Democratic National Convention (DNC) and, during Monday morning’s CNN Newsroom, Jennings held his own in single-handledly taking on former Biden official Kate Bedingfield and far-left hosts Jim Acosta and Abby Phillip. Better yet, he repeatedly triggered them over President Biden being forced out of running for a second term, that Vice President Kamala Harris was installed by party bosses without allowing a single voter to weigh in, and simply stating Biden has a temper. The first schooling commenced when Jennings was told to respond to Harris clapping back at Trump for angrily attacking her appearance, intelligence, and — gasp — policies. Jennings noted the irony of claiming the left doesn’t intend to put down entire groups of Americans as well as the reality that Biden has a well-documented temper. Naturally, Acosta, Bedingfield, and Phillip leapt into action to go full whataboutism by claiming Trump’s worse (and thus the right shouldn’t be allowed to talk this way). They even melted down over Trump calling Harris a “communist” as though it were akin to some curse word.  Thankfully, Jennings cited the liberal Washington Post as agreeing with him (click “expand”): .@ScottJenningsKY TRIGGERS CNN liberals Abby Phillip, Jim Acosta, and Kate Bedingfield: “Well, I mean, are you saying that there are people that the Democratic Party doesn’t want to beat down? I mean Joe Biden's been one of the orneriest presidents we ever had. I mean, this is… pic.twitter.com/D5t3IKRtek — Curtis Houck (@CurtisHouck) August 19, 2024 JENNINGS: Well, I mean, are you saying that there are people that the Democratic Party doesn’t want to beat down? I mean Joe Biden’s been one of the orneriest presidents we ever had. I mean, this is not an uplifting guy and — and — PHILLIP: Oh wait. BEDINGFIELD: Scott, come on. JENNINGS: — and so, I mean — BEDINGINFIELD: Wait. So, you’re saying that Donald Trump’s rhetoric is comparable to Joe Biden’s rhetoric? Give break, that doesn’t pass the smell test. Not even close. JENNINGS: — Joe — Joe Biden has been one of the orneriest, angriest presidents we’ve ever — I get it too — ACOSTA: Yeah, but — PHILLIP: Scott! Scott! JENNINGS: cause — I mean — come on. ACOSTA: — when — when — when Trump is calling Kamala Harris a communist, you don’t actually believe — does anybody believe that? JENNINGS: I mean, I don’t think she’s a registered communist. I think her policies could be. I think her policies could be mixed up for countries that have tried it and doesn’t turn out very well. ACOSTA: Yeah. JENNINGS: Look, just like The Washington Post said the other day, if you don’t want to be called a communist, maybe don’t install their economic platform. I didn’t write it. The Post did. BEDINGFIELD: This is — this is so interesting — I mean, this is so interesting because this kind of goes to the point you were raising about Trump, giving him this argument on a silver platter, like Scott, you’re super smart guy. I’ve heard you — JENNINGS: Agreed! BEDINGFIELD: — make some really compelling —  ACOSTA: Opinions vary. BEDINGFIELD: — I’ve heard you make some really compelling arguments. This one doesn’t do it. And so to watch — kind of watch the Republican Party follow behind Donald Trump, who is, you know, throwing these kind of like ugly attacks — JENNINGS: Well, look — BEDINGFIELD: — that don’t really resonate with people cause they sort of go, alright, you — I’m open to an argument. PHILLIP: I have to — I have to say Scott, I mean, honestly, I mean, this is — you will be hard pressed to tell voters who lived through four years of Donald Trump that — they don’t like Joe Biden for a lot of reasons, but I don’t think there are a lot of voters who think that he is angrier than Donald Trump? Angrier? JENNINGS: He — he’s a pretty ornery guy. I mean, she worked for him, but he’s a pretty ornery guy. The second throwdown came when Bedingfield treated viewers like idiots by hailing Biden for having decided to “hand that mantle” of the Democratic Party “off to Kamala Harris” with the “very selfless” action of stepping down from reelection. Jennings audibly laughed at this version of history: .@ScottJenningsKY: “You think [Joe Biden] arrived at this decision [to drop out] that it's delivering him into this stage on Monday night through some selfless introspection and he wasn't strong armed and bullied out of this race by the very people in this room tonight? I… pic.twitter.com/H5k3wUVZPj — Curtis Houck (@CurtisHouck) August 19, 2024 In response, Acosta Phillip refused to debate or even engage on that point because they  chose to invoke the 2020 election and January 6 as a way to shut Jennings up: ACOSTA: I mean, Donald Trump did not ever concede the 2020 elections, so I mean, there is a slight difference there. PHILLIP: And, you know what? Tonight, the Democrats are going to put on the stage some of the people involved in the January 6 investigation — the committee on — on Capitol hill, that’s another point of contrast, that — that’s going to raise character question about Donald Trump. And, I mean, I do wonder as a Republican, if you wish that more of your colleagues had strong arm to him into stepping aside? This went right into perhaps Jennings’s strongest point as he highlighted how Republicans “had a real primary...where...the person they voted for actually got the nomination” versus Democrats, who “rigged” the primary process to crowd out competition “then...change[d] their minds later” by forcing Biden out. Bedingfield had the hutzpah to insist Democratic primary voters did vote for Harris since she was going to be Biden’s running mate.  There was more comedy when Jennings countered with Democrats made Biden quit “by tweet” (with on-camera comments coming days later) and Bedingfield stretched this to mean Jennings was, as a Republican, a hypocrite on political figures using Twitter (click “expand”):     BEDINGFIELD: She was on the ticket with him that got 14 million votes in this primary. Also, the incumbent president running effectively more or less unopposed in the primary is pretty, pretty standard operating procedure. So to suggest, now that — that’s somehow sort of some sort of undemocratic effort —  JENNINGS: Ehhh. BEDINGFIELD: — is just that’s just not true.  JENNINGS: I mean — I mean — BEDINGFIELD: That’s not true. JENNINGS: I mean — I mean, you get — you had the guy resign by tweet. I mean — BEDINGFIELD: That’s — oh, wait — wait. So, wait. Communicating via tweet is now no longer acceptable for a presidential nominee? JENNINGS: — no, I’m just saying — I’m just saying — BEDINGFIELD: Cause I think you guys — JENNINGS: — you ran the President, you ran the President of the United States — BEDINGFIELD: — might have a problem for that. JENNINGS: — out of his — he’s — he’s been in this profession for 52 years and you ran this man out of his job by a tweet on a Sunday morning. I mean, it’s pretty rough. I mean, look, my hat’s off to you. You guys — party bosses, I get it. Like, you all are rough players. I mean — ACOSTA: We are in Chicago, yes. JENNINGS: — I mean, I’m — PHILLIP: You know what? JENNINGS: —  this is like — I’m kind of in awe of it. PHILLIP: Listen, we are in unprecedented times. Rewinding to the very beginning of the segment and Jennings calmly educated the three blue-bleeding partisans about how there’s a segment of their side (the pro-Hamas, anti-Semitic types) that, if they were smart about wanting to reach the broadest group of Americans, would jettison: .@ScottJenningsKY to @KBeds: “When you say shares their goal, whose goal exactly? Because some of these people on the street, I can assure you do not have goals that you want inside the tent of the Democratic Party. In fact, I would say most of them don’t.” pic.twitter.com/gIq0CthUq3 — Curtis Houck (@CurtisHouck) August 19, 2024 To see the relevant CNN transcript from August 19, click here.

'Be comfortable without the lights': this chef wants you to hunt, cook, and be ready for an EMP

Chef Jean-Paul Bourgeois is ready to bring conservation, food, and southern hospitality to the next generation. The outdoorsman has traded in his chef's hat for a rifle and waders in his show "Duck Camp Dinners," which chronicles the Louisiana native's epic adventures in the south. In his recent interview with Align, the gregarious southern Louisiana native was eager to tout the Cajun cuisine he grew up on, sharing recipes as practical as they are delicious. "Boudin is so easy to make!" he said of the classic dish made with meat, rice, onions, and peppers. Bourgeois has been known to forgo the traditional pork filling in favor of the geese he hunts. In both cases, boudin calls for parts of the animal that are typically discarded. Whether it's gizzards and innards, breasts and bones, Bourgeois makes sure nothing goes to waste. "I try to make sure I can make as many meals is possible," he affirmed.'Some people just have an aversion to seeing dead animals.'The authentic, practical know-how that Bourgeois brings to "Duck Camp Dinners" helps explain why the show is so popular. It also lets Bourgeois tackle larger issues. For example, last season's final episode closed with lessons about natural and un-natural conservation in Louisiana. Bourgeois shared stories about the wetlands along the Gulf coast, explaining how some families literally pick up and move their home depending on the season."When it's hurricane season, some families will just drop a concrete slab on the ground — if they have the land — then put their trailer on top of it," he explained. "Or, they may just move out of the area entirely and come back when the seasons change.""If they don't have that option, some of the homes you see in the video will be built 15-20 feet in the air to avoid floods."Shockingly, this effort to relocate on a seasonal basis has become routine for a number of families that face consistent natural disasters. He expressed that he felt a strong sense of responsibility to not only represent hunters and chefs honorably but also a sense of responsibility to provide for his family and not be wasteful."We know exactly how that fish was caught or that bird was shot or how that venison was harvested," he explained. "[But] we don't know that about what we get out of the grocery store.""It also saves money, it saves me money at least!" he joked. That attitude has helped the chef come to terms with some of the activism he has faced over the years."Some people just have an aversion to seeing dead animals on social media, and I get that," he noted. However, it isn't Bourgeois' hunting that has drawn complaints from social media users."Animal rights activists [came] after me when I was working as a commercial chef; pork, cattle, and chickens ... and came at me more when I played more of a role in that space," he recalled."I think it's a lot easier for folks that are on the side of animal activists to support somebody that's hunting and fishing his own meat and game out of the wild, as opposed to somebody who is using the large commercial farming operations of America to feed a restaurant."To that extent, Bourgeois said he understood why a vegan or an animal activist might speak out if they thought animals were being mistreated. View this post on Instagram A post shared by Veritas Vineyard & Winery (@veritaswinery)Passing on the knowledgeBourgeois knows his idea of fun can be a hard sell to screen-addicted digital natives."I don't know how to relate to this generation!" Bourgeois laughed. "Maybe I'm kind of glad I don't!"All joking aside, the soon-to-be father of two said a lot of the responsibility falls on the parent to make sure their child has an understanding of the outdoors and is capable of surviving if the lights go out."A lot of this is on the parents to get out there and be an example. It doesn't mean you have to be a duck hunter, [and] it doesn't mean you have to be a fisherman."'There's only so long that people can go with running on generators.'The father pointed to simply letting kids be kids — letting them dig in the backyard and find earthworms or providing them with books that nurture a desire to want to be in the outdoors."That should start at a young age," he continued. "It's hard to pull a 15-year-old away from a PlayStation and put them into the wild for duck hunting."Bourgeois explained that most of the youngsters featured in his videos didn't become nature lovers overnight."Those kids were born and raised in the outdoors in Louisiana," Bourgeois explained. "Whether it was an aunt, an uncle, or someone else in the family, someone took them out and gave them that experience."In conclusion, the longer a person waits, the more they can expect to become overly attached to their "indoor" luxuries. When the EMP dropsCould a love of outdoors also come in handy in the event of some society-disrupting event like an EMP attack? "That's a fun thought experiment!" Bourgeois laughed. He quickly proceeded to offer a list of necessities for when SHTF, including fuel to get out of town, firearms, ammunition, as well as canned vegetables and meat. When asked about generators, Bourgeois offered a unique perspective."When you look at all the history that Louisiana has with hurricanes, there's only so long that people can go with running on generators. That's about two weeks."Being "comfortable without the lights" and without air conditioning is something that will actually go a long way, he added.Don't count on always having a refrigerator either, Bourgeois warned. He suggested researching ways that food has been preserved in the pastAs much as he sounded mentally prepared for disaster, the food expert said he was still keeping "positive vibes" toward the idea that humanity will get along and be able to avoid any apocalyptic scenarios. "I do love my amenities, too!" he clarified.Whether it's Florida where he currently resides, his home state of Louisiana, or elsewhere, Bourgeois asserted he hoped his content would inspire people to try new things, and carry on the traditions of the outdoors for generations. ‘Biden Bucks’: Democrats are using YOUR tax dollars to get votes from FELONS

The Biden administration doesn’t have the best track record when it comes to American tax dollars, so it should be no surprise that there’s a secretive executive order making the situation even less palatable. This executive order directs federal agencies to use American tax dollars to register voters — including felons. Montana Attorney General Austin Knudsen calls it a “Biden Bucks” program and believes it’s completely unlawful and could sway the 2024 election. “What this executive order back in ‘21 did is Joe Biden and Kamala Harris directed the administration and all their executive agencies to every time there was a federal touch on a citizen, to provide them voter registration information and ways to get registered to vote,” Knudsen tells Glenn Beck. “That’s not a constitutional power given to the federal government. States regulate their own elections, period. That’s been long standing federal law, that’s been long-standing constitutional jurisprudence,” he continues. “This is a power grab; this is pure partisan politics, and it’s bad news,” he adds. Now, Knudsen has joined eight of his Republican attorneys general colleagues in suing the Biden administration. “This was egregious enough that we decided the only thing we could do is sue in federal court. Oftentimes, that’s the only arrow in our quiver,” he explains. Glenn is furious. “They’ve stonewalled for so long, and we couldn’t find any information on what they were doing. I mean, I’ve been on this since the first week of the Biden administration, and nobody could get any information,” he says. “Now here we are in August. We’re what, 12 weeks away? By the time you get into federal court, September maybe, what can be done?” he asks Knudsen. “We’re hoping to get a rapid injunction here,” Knudsen explains, adding, “that’s the hope, is that we get this in front of a federal judge, and we can get a restraining order and an injunction quickly before too much damage is done.” Want more from Glenn Beck?To enjoy more of Glenn’s masterful storytelling, thought-provoking analysis, and uncanny ability to make sense of the chaos, subscribe to BlazeTV — the largest multi-platform network of voices who love America, defend the Constitution, and live the American dream.
