Trump Recommends Searing ‘Screams Before Silence’ Doc

President Ronald Reagan knew pop culture better than his Republican predecessors. He lived it. The veteran actor worked within Hollywood for decades before ditching sound stages for stump speeches. Bottom of Form President Donald Trump has a similar advantage.     He embraced pop culture early and often in his real estate heyday. He worked the talk show circuit and appeared in TV shows and films (“Home Alone 2: Lost in New York,” “The Little Rascals”) before striking it big with NBC’s “The Apprentice.” Not every Republican politician can say the same. And it often shows. Sen. Ted Cruz is an exception to that rule. Now, Trump is throwing his weight behind a powerful new documentary ignored by almost every film critic in the country. “Screams Before Silence,” available for free on its web site and YouTube, lets the survivors of the Oct. 7 attacks share their stories. It’s a gut-wrenching experience that eschews graphic imagery for raw testimonials.      Not only did critics reflexively ignore the film, Hollywood in general has pretended it doesn’t exist. No starry testimonials demanding audiences give it a look. No pleas from feminist starlets pleading with audiences to learn what happened on that tragic day. The Documentary, “Screams before Silence,” is incredibly difficult to watch because, sadly, it graphicly portrays the Death and Destruction that Hamas has unleashed. I urge people to support the Documentary and watch, if able. We demand that all Hostages taken October 7th from Israel, and being held in Gaza, be released immediately, including eight Americans, and Citizens from over twenty other Countries, so that the war can come to an end.     This isn’t a typical film recommendation. The movie’s content belies the pro-Palestinian protesters wreaking havoc across the country. Some of those protesters, like Susan Sarandon, deny Hamas raped countless women during the terrorist strike. Others insisted just days after Oct. 7 that Israel stand down rather than retaliate for the most savage attack in modern memory. There’s more. The film has the power to change people’s minds about the ongoing Israel/Hamas war. Even those alarmed at the civilian casualties mounting in Gaza might change their mind after watching “Screams.” Trump may see a political advantage in promoting “Screams Before Silence.” True? False? Either way, it’s the right thing to do.

Ruhle Worried Biden's 'Weak Performance' Covered Up Trump 'Lies'

Ruhle Worried Biden's 'Weak Performance' Covered Up Trump 'Lies'

A despondent Stephanie Ruhe lamented to Vanity Fair special correspondent Molly Jong-Fast on Friday’s edition of MSNBC's The 11th Hour that President Joe Biden’s “weak performance” at Thursday's debate obscured “Donald Trump’s content” of “over 30” lies. Ruhle began by alleging, “Molly, Donald Trump's content, remember, the actual content is important. As expected, it was chock-full of lies. Over 30 were counted,” before wondering, “Is any of that going to break through given President Biden's weak performance?”     The 30 figure comes from Daniel Dale and his CNN colleagues and it is highly questionable. For instance, Dale and Chandelis Duster claim Trump is wrong to call the Charlottesville/“Fine People” controversy a “hoax,” while Snopes gave the “false” label to Trump’s critics. Snopes also added an editor’s note to their story, defending themselves against criticism they received for the rating. The high number also raises questions about what CNN considers a lie or mistruth. For comparison, PolitiFact, which was not kind to Trump, gave him 16 false statements. As for Jong-Fast, she naturally didn’t care about any of that, “Well, it wasn't even lies. It was insane stuff. We had ‘H2O.’ The winner of this debate was Donald Trump, because somehow no one noticed some of the stuff he was saying. I mean, it was crazy, crazy stuff.” She also tried to blame CNN, “Donald Trump has this, he's so in this right-wing media bubble that he gives these little speeches that don't at all relate to the question, and because of the way this panel was set up, this debate was moderated, it really was an ability for him to just go into a right-wing talking point and not even really ever come out. I mean, it was just like malpractice.” Ruhle was not prepared to let Biden off that easily, “But Molly, but malpractice on whose part? Donald Trump has been doing this from the moment he entered politics and President Biden's team agreed to these terms. So, for us to say ‘Oh my gosh, it's malpractice, what was CNN doing?’ They were doing what they said they would do and the onus was on President Biden to counter Donald Trump's lies and for the most part, he didn't.” Ironically, one would be hard-pressed to find a bigger Biden booster in the media than Stephanie Ruhle. Biden once boasted to her that his age isn’t a problem because “I have acquired a hell of a lot of wisdom. I know more than the vast majority of people.” Here is a transcript for the June 28 show: MSNBC The 11th Hour with Stephanie Ruhle 6/28/2024 11:06 PM ET STEPHANIE RUHLE: Molly, Donald Trump's content, remember, the actual content is important. MOLLY JONG-FAST: Right. RUHLE: As expected, it was chock-full of lies. Over 30 were counted. But is any of that going to break through given President Biden's weak performance? JONG-FAST: Well, it wasn't even lies. It was insane stuff. We had “H2O.” The winner of this debate was Donald Trump, because somehow no one noticed some of the stuff he was saying. I mean, it was crazy, crazy stuff, and I actually thought, as much as there was definitely a lot of questioning, handwringing, anxiety, it was also — Donald Trump has this, he's so in this right-wing media bubble that he gives these little speeches that don't at all relate to the question, and because of the way this panel was set up, this debate was moderated, it really was an ability for him to just go into a right-wing talking point— RUHLE: Okay. JONG-FAST: — and not even really ever come out. I mean, it was just like malpractice. RUHLE: But Molly, but malpractice on whose part? Donald Trump has been doing this from the moment— JONG-FAST: Right. RUHLE: — he entered politics and President Biden's team agreed to these terms.  JONG-FAST: Right. RUHLE: So, for us to say “oh my gosh, it's malpractice, what was CNN doing?” They were doing what they said they would do and the onus was on President Biden to counter Donald Trump's lies and for the most part, he didn't.

Maher rips Biden for poor debate performance against Trump, says the president's 'new Secret Service name is Amber Heard'

Comedian Bill Maher chimed in on the increasing criticism that has been leveled against President Joe Biden following his debate performance against former President Donald Trump, according to the New York Post.Maher has broken off from establishment Democrats on several fronts, including the presidential debate that took place this week. He suggested that Biden did not even show up to his own debate, adding to the voices who have suggested Democrats need to find someone else to run against Trump in the upcoming presidential race.'The president appeared on Thursday night as the shadow of a great public servant.'“I mean Trump told lie after lie after lie. He never would have gotten away with that if Joe Biden was there,” Maher jokingly said, adding that, "You know Joe, he famously loves trains but apparently not of thought."“I don’t want to say he s*** the bed, but his new Secret Service name is Amber Heard,’ Maher said, appearing to make a reference to Johnny Depp's claim that his then-wife Heard had defecated on their bed during an argument in 2016.The comedian has previously said that Biden's age was a significant issue in the 2024 race, adding that the president's policies around immigration could see Trump back in the White House this year.Following Thursday's debate, Biden was met with calls from donors and pundits to drop out of the race and hand the nomination to a better-equipped candidate.“The president appeared on Thursday night as the shadow of a great public servant,” the New York Times said in an editorial. “As it stands, the president is engaged in a reckless gamble. There are Democratic leaders better equipped to present clear, compelling and energetic alternatives to a second Trump presidency.”Blaze News previously reported that the New York Times editorial board said they would still support Biden over Trump despite the president's struggles on stage."If the race comes down to a choice between Mr. Trump and Mr. Biden, the sitting president would be this board's unequivocal pick. That is how much of a danger Mr. Trump poses. But given that very danger, the stakes for the country and the uneven abilities of Mr. Biden, the United States needs a stronger opponent to the presumptive Republican nominee. To make a call for a new Democratic nominee this late in a campaign is a decision not taken lightly, but it reflects the scale and seriousness of Mr. Trump's challenge to the values and institutions of this country and the inadequacy of Mr. Biden to confront him," the piece said."The clearest path for Democrats to defeat a candidate defined by his lies is to deal truthfully with the American public: acknowledge that Mr. Biden can't continue his race, and create a process to select someone more capable to stand in his place to defeat Mr. Trump in November," the editorial board continued. "It is the best chance to protect the soul of the nation — the cause that drew Mr. Biden to run for the presidency in 2019 — from the malign warping of Mr. Trump. And it is the best service that Mr. Biden can provide to a country that he has nobly served for so long."Like Blaze News? Democrats in full-on PANIC after Joe Biden’s very bad night

While anyone with eyes and ears knows former President Donald Trump handily won the debate last night, the real star of last night's 2024 presidential debate was Joe Biden’s apparent dementia. And understandably, Democrats are now in full-on panic mode. “I mean, that was broadcast all over the world on CNN International. They saw Joe Biden in all his dementia glory last night,” Pat Gray comments. “There’s no denying it. We all saw it this time. We know it was live; we know it actually happened.” However, in classic mainstream media fashion, they’re already attempting to spin Biden’s horrific performance into just a cold. “Did the cold shoot straight to his brain and render him totally confused with Alzheimer’s disease? Oh, this is a bad cold. Somebody should call a doctor,” Gray laughs. Despite Biden’s efforts to prepare for the debate with a week-long stint at Camp David, Gray is thoroughly impressed that he still couldn’t seem to muster up the strength to perform. “And this is what they delivered. It’s incredible. I guess there’s no medication that can save him,” Gray tells Keith Malinak and Jeffy. “Right?” Malinak says. “He could not have been on the same drugs that he was on for the State of the Union. Either that, or they have lost their effect.” Despite winning the coin flip — and choosing which podium to stand at rather than choosing the closing statement, as well as having microphones being equipped with a mute — Biden still couldn’t pull through. “The split screen benefited Trump, the microphone mute, like we said, benefited Trump,” Malinak says. “Because it gave Biden a chance to continue to mumble,” Gray adds.
