Editor’s Pick: Free Beacon on Trump Ripping Kamala’s Sharpton Cash Boding Ill for Comcast

Chuck Ross with our friends at the Washington Free Beacon had a story Monday morning recapping Truth Social posts by President-Elect Trump over the holidays based in part on the site’s November 12 bombshell that Vice President Kamala Harris’s campaign gave a cool $500,000 donation to race hustler Al Sharpton’s group National Action Network and was conveniently followed two weeks later by a slobbering interview.  Trump called this and other campaign donations to the likes of Beyonce and Oprah Winfrey’s production company “totally against the law,” which Ross noted “raise[d] questions about whether Trump could take action in his second presidential term to block Comcast's proposed spinoff of its news networks,” which they had “announced plans to” do so back in November “to separate its movie studios from the dwindling cable TV business.” Ross said “Comcast and MSNBC did not return requests for comment,” adding the company could be in for serious government scrutiny: At least one industry expert said that while he did not expect the spinoff to face headwinds from federal agencies, Trump was an "X factor" that could gum up the process. Trump could "slow-down or otherwise interfere with the transaction," said investment analyst Blair Levin, who noted that MSNBC is a "major Trump nemesis." Last year, Trump posted that, if reelected, he would investigate Comcast over what he called "one-side[d] and vicious coverage" from the media conglomerate's flagship news channels, NBC and MSNBC. And Trump could be emboldened to take on the media conglomerate after winning a $15 million legal settlement last month with ABC News over comments from host George Stephanopoulos, who falsely claimed Trump was found liable for raping a woman in the 1990s. Notre Dame's independent status means massive payout for performance in College Football Playoff

Notre Dame's march to the Orange Bowl has a much larger impact on its program than other schools in the same position.Competing as an independent team since 2021 (the school played in the ACC in 2020 during COVID), the Fighting Irish have already earned a whopping $14 million directly for their school for making it to the College Football Playoff semifinal.Notre Dame's independent status means the school will take home more than any other program and has made more than three other conferences have made, which in the conferences will be divided among multiple programs.Ohio State and Penn State, which also made the semifinal, will divide their $14 million each among Big Ten teams, while Texas will have to share its money with the SEC.The schools made $4 million for simply making the College Football Playoff, $4 million for advancing to the quarterfinals, and $6 million for getting to the semifinals, Front Office Sports reported. The teams that advance to the national championship on January 20 will earn another $6 million. That's $20 million all in for Notre Dame if the Irish beat Penn State in the Orange Bowl on January 9. Photo by Chris Graythen/Getty ImagesNotre Dame's totals have outpaced multiple conferences, including the ACC's $8 million from SMU and Clemson, the Big 12's $8 million from Arizona State making the quarterfinals, and the Mountain West's $8 million for Boise State doing the same. At the same time, the SEC has collected $26 million, with Texas, Georgia, and Tennessee all participating in the CFB, while the Big Ten has made $40 million through Indiana, Ohio State, Oregon, and Penn State. If Ohio State or Penn State advances to the final to collect the $20 million payout, it will be divided among the 18 teams of the Big Ten. Currently, these two teams will make about $2.2 million from their current earnings.Other expenses awarded to schools are $3 million per round for travel along with $300,000 if schools maintain academic standards.NCAA men's basketball has a similar payout system for March Madness, which awards a reported $2 million to teams for each game they play in the national tournament .Like Blaze News? Andrew Tate's ‘absolutely demonic’ worldview will RUIN lives

Once the most Googled man on the planet, Andrew Tate has now fallen far off his generational run, and Jason Whitlock of “Fearless” thinks it’s about time. “Andrew Tate. The influencer, the pump, the OnlyFans manipulator, the guy facing imprisonment in Romania. He’s a really wicked man; he is a devilish man, pushing a line of deceit that is really, really subversive and manipulative,” Whitlock says before reading one of Tate’s Christmastime posts on X. “The real redpill about race that nobody ever says: White people are doomed to fail because they’re the only race that cares about what women think and say. Result? Liberalism. LGBT. Birth Rate declines. The list goes on,” Tate wrote. Tate went on to say that “every white woman alive fantasizes about a black man” and that “the winning races simply ignore what women think completely and use them for children only.” “That is pure wickedness,” Whitlock comments. “That is a kernel of truth, that men must quit pandering to the emotions of women and then using that as a jumping off point to promote irresponsible, immoral, chaotic behavior that leads to more and more chaos and more unfathered, unparented kids.” “I do not understand how anybody defends Andrew Tate at this point. I’ve never been someone that’s defended Andrew Tate. I’ve seen others try to find or try to promote that there’s some sort of redeeming quality to Andrew Tate, that he’s being set up and being persecuted because he’s a real man and he promotes masculinity.” “No, this is wickedness. This is stupidity. These are outright lies,” he continues. “He is a distraction, and unfortunately, there are men who will buy this stuff. This whole manosphere, this whole red pill.” And those people are being led down a path diametrically opposed to the one they claim to believe in. “This post is demonic. Absolutely demonic,” Whitlock says. “If you’re a heterosexual, Christian black man, your number one ally outside of other heterosexual, Christian black men, outside of them, it’s the Evangelical, heterosexual, Christian white man.” “That is your ally. Andrew Tate is trying to lead you away from your actual ally, any Christian man that’s trying to pursue holiness, trying to pursue righteousness. That is your ally,” he adds. Justin Trudeau resigns before his own party could throw him out

Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau announced Monday morning that he is stepping down as leader of the leftist Liberal Party of Canada ahead of its national caucus meeting on Wednesday. The announcement comes after years of scandals and after several weeks of his own party members calling for him to resign. "I intend to resign as party leader, as prime minister after the party selects its next leader through a robust nationwide, competitive process," Trudeau told reporters outside his taxpayer-funded home at Rideau Cottage, doing his apparent best to smile. "If I'm having to fight internal battles, I cannot be the best option," added the prime minister. Trudeau told reporters that he asked Governor General Mary Simon to prorogue Parliament until March 24. State media indicated Simon granted the request. Three sources, one of whom recently spoke to Trudeau, told the Globe and Mail on Sunday that the leftist leader felt compelled to make a voluntary exit before parliamentarians in his own party could force him out. According to the Angus Reid Institute, Trudeau's disapproval rating was 74% and his approval rating was 22% as of Dec. 24. Upon assuming office in November 2015, the Liberal Party leader's approval rating was north of 60% and his disapproval rating was under 30%. Trudeau's nine years in office have been marked by multiple blackface incidents and other personal scandals; tax hikes; an unprecedented influx of immigrants; a spike in illegal immigration; rising crime; an enormous federal deficit; unanswered church burnings; a housing crisis; coercive medicine; and the rise of state-facilitated suicide as a leading cause of death nationally. While the Liberal Party wants to ditch Trudeau before the imminent federal election, it owns all of his failures — including his unlawful decision to use martial law in 2022 to crush the peaceful trucker protests — and it appears that Canadians are well aware. A Dec. 27 Nanos Research poll indicated that a plurality of Canadians (40%) would prefer to see Conservative Party Leader Pierre Poilievre as prime minister. Only 17.4% of respondents indicated they would like to see Trudeau carry on in the role. The Conservative Party leads with 47%. Even if the Liberal Party and socialist New Democratic Party resumed their coalition, they still would be a combined nine percentage points behind. Nik Nanos, chief data scientist at the polling outfit, noted in a statement, "Conservative support hits a new long-term high with a 26-point advantage over the Liberals. This has occurred alongside calls for Trudeau to step down. Worry about jobs/the economy has also hit a new four-year high." Sources told the Mail that Trudeau could have left immediately and had an interim leader, such as George Chahal of Alberta, take his place. Evidently, he wants to hold on to power a while longer. Blaze News previously noted that among the people apparently jockeying for Trudeau's job are the leftist's foreign affairs minister, Mélanie Joly, who effectively auditioned last month for his job in the pages of the New York Times; Trudeau's deputy and former finance minister Chrystia Freeland, who recently abandoned her post after overseeing the growth of the federal deficit in 2023-24 to $61.9 billion; and former Bank of Canada Governor Mark Carney, who has been putting in calls with Liberal parliamentarians about running in a potential leadership race. CES 2025: Roborock announced a robot vacuum with an arm to pick your dirty socks

CES 2025: Roborock announced a robot vacuum with an arm to pick your dirty socks

As CES 2025 kicks off, Roborock unveils its latest innovations. Among them is the new Roborock Saros Z70, the first robotic home assistant with an arm (the company calls it the OmniGrip). Roborock previewed this device to BGR a couple of weeks ago, and it's pretty impressive (and crazy). The company says the Roborock Saros Z70 features a foldable robotic arm with five axes that can deploy itself to clean previously obstructed areas and put away small items such as socks, small towels, tissue papers, and sandals under 300g. While I can understand the appeal of the robot vacuum going a step further – I think the ability to climb different areas is more interesting with the latest Roborock Qrevo Curv –it feels a bit too much not removing your dirty socks from the floor; you know? That said, the ability to pick up sandals is pretty great, as I always have to put my flip-flops somewhere else every time the robot cleans my house. While we still need to test this robot to understand how great it is, Roborock has put a lot of effort into the other parts of this vacuum. It has a thin design, 22,000 Pa of suction power, a dual anti-tangle system, a FreeFlow Main Brush, and a liftable FlexiArm Rise Side Brush, which deploys itself to prevent hair from tangling around the vacuum. It features the brand new VertiBeam Lateral Obstacle Avoidance technology to finally stop eating unfolded cables, and a StarSight Autonomous System 2.0 to a better mapping of the environment and obstacle detection. Roborock says its app plays a big role on this device, as users can customize up to 50 new objects in addition to the ones the robot now identifies. The OmniGrip is also controlled by the app, and it will receive new updates in the coming months. Roborock also has a lot more for robot vacuum lovers Image source: Roborock Besides the Roborock Saros Z70, the company is introducing at CES 2025 other Saros robot vacuums, such as the Roborock Saros 10. It features the first RetractSense Navigation System, which enhances reliable LDS navigation with a 100-degree wide field of view. It has the updated VibraRise 4.0 mopping module and several upgraded cleaning technologies. The Roborock Saros 10R features the StarSight Autonomous System 2.0 with dual-light 3D ToF technology and an AI-powered RGB camera. Roborock says it offers "superb" power suction and cleaning capabilities. Besides that, Roborock announces at CES 2025 three all-in-one intelligent washer-dryers: the Roborock Zeo One, Zeo Lite, and Zeo Mini. These models feature the Zeo-cycle drying technology, which utilizes zeolite's superior water vapor absorption capacity to protect delicate fabrics without extreme heat. This moderate temperature drying at around only 50 degrees Celsius efficiently captures moisture while allowing for optimal fabric care. Roborock has already launched its range of washing machine products in some European and Asia Pacific countries, with more to open sales in 2025. Keep checking BGR for the latest CES 2025 news.
