Four Democrat Campaign Workers Charged In Connecticut Ballot Fraud Case: Authorities

Four Democrat campaign workers have been criminally charged with absentee ballot fraud during the 2019 Bridgeport, Connecticut, Democratic mayoral primary. Chief State’s Attorney Patrick J. Griffin announced the charges on Tuesday against Alfredo Castillo, age 52, Wanda Geter-Pataky, age 67, Nilsa Heredia, age 61, and Josephine Edmonds, age 62, all of Bridgeport. HERE ARE THE BRIDGEPORT BALLOT FRAUD ARREST MUGSHOTS: City Democratic Party Vice-Chair and city operations specialist Wanda Geter-Pataky, City Councilor Alfredo Castillo, and campaign operatives Nilsa Heredia and Josephine Edmunds. The statement continued: Specifically, Edmonds, Geter-Pataky, and Heredia were charged with Tampering With a Witness, in violation of Connecticut General Statues § 53a-151; Geter-Pataky, Castillo and Heredia were charged with Misrepresenting Eligibility Requirements for Voting by Absentee Ballot in violation of Connecticut General Statues § 9-135(b); Castillo, Edmonds and Heredia were charged with Failure to Maintain an Absentee Ballot Distribution List, in violation of Connecticut General Statues § 9-140(k)(2); Edmonds and Heredia were charged with being present When an Absentee Ballot Applicant Executes an Absentee Ballot, in violation of Connecticut General Statues § 9-140(b)e; and Geter-Pataky and Castillo were charged with Failure to Sign as Assister on an Absentee Ballot, in violation of Connecticut General Statues § 9-140(a). The State Elections Enforcement Commission (SEEC) opened up a civil investigation into allegations of ballots that were mishandled which later turned into a criminal investigation after evidence was uncovered. “Integrity of our voting process is vital to our democracy,” Chief State’s Attorney Griffin said. “I appreciate the attention and time the Statewide Prosecution Bureau put into these investigations. I hope these prosecutions will send a message that deters tampering with election results in the future in Connecticut.” Geter-Pataky, who works for the city, “is the subject of recent absentee ballot fraud allegations, after she was seen in city surveillance footage seemingly placing stacks of absentee ballots into drop boxes ahead of [Democratic Mayor Joe] Ganim’s 2023 primary election against John Gomes,” the CT Examiner reported. “That footage prompted a state Superior Court judge to overturn the initial round of elections.” BREAKING: Wanda “The Stuffer” ARRESTED on election fraud charges. pic.twitter.com/5cbghMyT4z — Jesse Watters (@JesseBWatters) June 12, 2024

Jesse Watters Rips Hunter Biden Following Guilty Verdict: ‘Committed More Crimes Than We Can Count’

Fox News host Jesse Watters tore into President Joe Biden’s son, Hunter Biden, on Tuesday night following his conviction on multiple felony counts earlier in the day stemming from gun crimes. Jurors convicted Hunter Biden, 54, on charges of lying to a federally licensed firearms dealer, making a false claim on a federal firearms background check form, and being in possession of an illegally obtained firearm. Hunter Biden faces up to 25 years in prison and up to $750,000 in fines. “There’s no contrition at all by the Biden family. Hunter didn’t show any remorse, he was smiling afterwards,” Watters began. “His father’s not ashamed, wouldn’t even gently condemn his son’s actions. Hunter’s committed more crimes than we can count and all Biden says is he’s ‘proud.’ The reason Hunter’s broken the law for 30 years and not paid the Piper is because of his dad. If every time I screwed up, and my dad’s response was, ‘I’m proud, son, I love you,’ I’d keep screwing up. Bailing somebody out over and over again doesn’t mean you love them.” “Hunter was kicked out of the Navy for cocaine on an administrative discharge instead of a dishonorable one because his dad greased the brass,” he continued. “Hunter got caught with cocaine at the Jersey Shore way back in the 80s, and the senator’s son had his record expunged. When he left his crack pipe in a rental car, police investigated and dropped the charges. When he put 20 grand on his dad’s and American Express for Russian escorts, the Secret Service cleaned it up. When he lost his laptop, the FBI and CIA covered it up. When he owed millions in back taxes, his sugar brother footed the bill. When he needed money for alimony and child support, daddy’s donors bought his dopey art. His dad’s own Justice Department tried to make the gun and tax case go away a year ago today. What makes you think Daddy won’t save him again?” CLICK HERE TO GET THE DAILYWIRE+ APP Watters later added: “Whistleblowers have testified that investigators were blocked at every turn from following leads that led the Joe. The CIA and FBI and the Treasury Department’s are all in on the cover up. A strong case could be made for Trump prosecutors to investigate money laundering racketeering, bribery, foreign lobbying conspiracies.” WATCH: WATCH: Jesse Watters: Hunter Biden has “committed more crimes than we can count.” Watters adds: “The reason Hunter has broken the law for 30 years and not pay the piper is because of his dad. NYC Democrat Mayor Adams Condemns Islamic Terrorist Flags Flown At Rally But Stops Short Of Action

New York City Mayor Eric Adams condemned the flying of flags of designated Foreign Terrorist Organizations (FTO) at a left-wing pro-Hamas rally in the city this week but declined to take any specific action. “In this country, we must always protect the right to free speech, but I have a moral obligation to speak out when the messages that some New Yorkers are sharing go beyond the pale,” Adams said in a video posted to X. “Yesterday, outside an exhibit and lower Manhattan commemorating those massacred at the Nova Music Festival on October 7, protesters waved Hezbollah [and] Hamas flags.” “At other protests, they carry banners reading ‘Long live October 7th’,” he continued. “And one person even yelled he wishes, quote, ‘Hitler was still here. He would have wiped all of you out.’ These are reprehensible and vile comments. I and every New Yorker who stands for peace, stand united against them. Always speak up for what’s right. And what we saw last night was wrong.” NYC yesterday: – male spotted wearing a Hezbollah shirt and PFLP headband on the subway– female proudly stands hoisting the Hamas flag in Union Square Is NYC turning into a safe space for Jihadis? pic.twitter.com/EG0xPSSV5K — StopAntisemitism (@StopAntisemites) June 11, 2024 The flags of Hezbollah and Hamas, two US designated terrorist organizations were flown yesterday in the heart of Manhattan during an anti-Israel protest pic.twitter.com/vH3EZiAFaL — David Saranga (@DavidSaranga) June 12, 2024 Adams urged New Yorkers not to forget the October 7 massacre when Palestinian terrorists with Hamas massacred more than 1,200 people inside Israel, wounded thousands more, took hundreds hostage, raped women, and beheaded babies. “Earlier this year, I visited the exhibit of the horrors of October 7 through videos shot on that very day and memorialized the victims of that massacre,” he said. “A day where innocent men, women, and children were slaughtered as they sang of peace.” He said that there have been countless protests in the city since October 7 and that he “will never allow a city to descend into lawlessness.” “We’ve kept New Yorkers safe at thousands of protests and celebrations, including at the Israeli Day Parade earlier this month,” he continued. “And those who break our laws will be arrested. Since October 8th, the NYPD has made more than 2,850 arrests at Israeli-Gaza protests alone. Again, while peaceful protests will be allowed, New York City will never cower in the face of those trying to divide us. Hate has no place in our city.” CLICK HERE TO GET THE DAILYWIRE+ APP WATCH: Any New Yorker who stands for peace cannot stand next to those waving Hamas and Hezbollah flags, especially at an exhibit commemorating the victims of the Nova Music Festival massacre. House Oversight Chairman: DOJ Needs To Pursue ‘All Financial Crimes The Entire Biden Family Committed’

Oversight Chairman James Comer (R-KY) responded to the guilty verdict in the Hunter Biden gun trial this week by saying that justice has not been served because the Bidens have not been held accountable for alleged crimes they have committed. Comer made the remarks during a Fox News interview on Tuesday night after a federal jury convicted Hunter Biden, 54, on all three felony counts, including lying to a federally licensed firearms dealer, making a false claim on a federal firearms background check form, and being in possession of an illegally obtained firearm. Hunter Biden faces up to 25 years in prison for his crimes and up to $750,000 in fines. Comer said that the conviction spelled “more problems for Hunter Biden” because he is facing other criminal prosecutions and is now a convicted felon, meaning his sentencing could become more severe. “Look, what Hunter Biden did in his [congressional] deposition is he clearly lied,” he said. “And why did he lie? He lied to protect Joe Biden. But the fact that he lied under oath is clearly perjury, this will be used to determine his sentencing. So not only do you have the gun trial, where he clearly lied on the gun application, the jury saw right through that.” “Now he’s got his tax evasion charges, where we know he didn’t pay his taxes, we know to this day, he hasn’t paid his taxes,” he continued. “His taxes were paid years later by a major Democrat donor prior to the presidential election to help alleviate a problem Joe Biden had in the presidential election against Trump. So what we’ve done with the criminal referrals, as you know, is the first step. It’s just the beginning. But it’s a major problem for Hunter Biden, and it’s going to be taken into account when it comes time for his sentencing. CLICK HERE TO GET THE DAILYWIRE+ APP Comer later added that “justice has not been served, justice will not be served until the Department of Justice takes into account all of the financial crimes that the entire Biden family committed.” “It wasn’t just Hunter Biden, it was also Joe Biden and Jim Biden,” he continued. “The entire family benefited from the Biden influence peddling schemes. We had three people testify, who were once partners with Hunter Biden in these schemes. They testified under oath, that the Biden’s were selling the Biden brand, they were selling access to Joe Biden, there was never a legitimate business. We know from the IRS whistleblowers, they never paid any taxes on the tens of millions of dollars they took from our adversaries around the world.” “Justice has not been served” – Congressman James Comer on Hunter Biden’s guilty verdict. pic.twitter.com/B7hgn1D3gC — Jesse Watters (@JesseBWatters) June 12, 2024

House Votes to Hold Attorney General Garland in Contempt

In a significant escalation of tensions between the executive branch and House Republicans, the House Judiciary Committee voted on June 11, 2024, to hold Attorney General Merrick Garland in contempt of Congress. This decision follows Garland's refusal to comply with a subpoena demanding the unredacted audio of an interview with President Joe Biden conducted by Special Counsel Robert Hur as part of an investigation into Biden’s handling of classified documents. The contempt resolution, spearheaded by Republican lawmakers, was passed with a party-line vote of 18-15 in the Judiciary Committee. The resolution is now set to proceed to a full House vote. If approved, Garland would become the third Attorney General in U.S. history to be held in contempt by Congress. Today I testified before the House Rules Committee as to why Congress must hold Attorney General Merrick Garland in contempt. The AG has ignored 2 subpoenas directing him to release the audio of Special Counsel Hur's interview with Joe Biden. What is he hiding and why? pic.twitter.com/dpiP5Sa091 — Rep. Harriet Hageman (@RepHageman) June 11, 2024 Republicans, led by Committee Chairman Jim Jordan, argued that Garland’s refusal to release the audio recording impedes their oversight responsibilities. They contend that transparency in the investigation is crucial, especially given the gravity of the allegations against President Biden regarding mishandling classified materials found at his former office at the Penn Biden Center and his home in Delaware. The White House, however, has defended Garland’s decision, citing executive privilege. This legal principle allows the president and high-level executive branch officials to withhold information from Congress or the courts to ensure confidential communications within the executive branch. The administration argues that releasing the audio could set a dangerous precedent, undermining the ability of future presidents to have candid discussions with their advisors. Put the Merrick Garland contempt resolution on the House floor. If it fails, at least we’ll know who among us has the stomach for the times we’re in. — Rep. Mike Collins (@RepMikeCollins) June 12, 2024 The subpoena for the audio recording was issued earlier this year after a transcript of the interview was provided to lawmakers. Despite the transcript’s release, Republicans insist that the audio is necessary to fully understand the context and tone of the President’s statements during the interview. The move to hold Garland in contempt underscores the broader strategy of House Republicans to scrutinize and challenge the Biden administration’s actions rigorously. This approach includes ongoing investigations into various issues, such as the administration’s handling of border security and its response to the COVID-19 pandemic. Democrats, on the other hand, have decried the contempt resolution as a political stunt. They argue that the investigation into Biden's handling of classified documents is being used as a pretext to score political points ahead of the 2024 elections. Representative Jerry Nadler, the ranking member of the Judiciary Committee, accused Republicans of weaponizing congressional oversight for partisan purposes . As the full House prepares to vote on the contempt resolution, the outcome could have significant implications for the balance of power between Congress and the executive branch. It also raises questions about the extent to which executive privilege can be invoked to shield information from legislative scrutiny. Bittersweet Moment: “Although You Weren’t There To Walk, You Were There In Spirit”

Grab the tissues now. You’ll need them for sad, joyful, and all the in-between tears. Jenna Elizabeth Howard was only 19 when she passed away unexpectedly on May 25, 2024. The young lady was 6 days shy of her high school graduation. As a heart transplant recipient, she was navigating that process while working on graduating. Jenna Howard earned her Portage Central High School diploma but wasn’t around to walk across the stage. Her lifelong best friend, Kadyn Mackey, took care of that part for Jenna. The audience offered Jenna a standing ovation, and there weren’t many dry eyes in the Wings Event Center. @kadynmackey My beautiful best friend who passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, May 25, 2024 (just 6 days before graduation) did it. I couldn’t be more proud of all she’s accomplished. She’s always with me and words can’t and won’t ever be able to describe the sadness that has overcome me. I can’t believe i had to do this special day without you, but i know you were there. I love you forever always jenna e?? ♬ pluto projector – al Jenna’s heart failed early in the morning on May 25. She never made it out of the hospital that day. The suddenness of her death was devastating to friends and family. Her parents, Jami and Jason Howard, said Jenna enjoyed life and participated in various activities, describing her as “humble, kind, fun, loving, brave, and one of the strongest human beings ever.” Jenna had plans for her future. Following graduation, she was to attend Western Michigan University, where she would study Elementary Education. She and Kadyn were looking forward to continuing their friendship as dormitory roommates. Jenna also loved her dog, a Great Dane named Doc Victor. The dog was by her side throughout her heart transplant recovery. She loved the beach, dancing, shopping, and most things teenage girls enjoy, including Starbucks. Image from TikTok. When Kadyn posted the video of her accepting Jenna Howard’s diploma, the common sentiment was that Jenna was there in spirit. You can watch the entire graduation ceremony on YouTube. For Kadyn, collecting her friend’s diploma was the greatest honor ever. Please share Jenna and Kadyn’s story of love. You can find the source of this story’s featured image here.
