As part of the Arizona Badlands, views include fallen trees turned to stone and the majestic beauty of The Painted Desert. The Petrified Forest National Park ecosystem is more than 200 million years old. The video briefly looks at just a few of the many sights.

The petrified stumps display a glimpse of crystals embedded in the wood of an old stump. While the colors are muted, they exhibit enough variation to offer your eyes a treat. While many travelers may scoff at “a dead forest,” the area is resplendent in natural beauty that you won’t find anywhere else.
To the north lies the Painted Desert. The rolling landscape vastly differs from the grassland that covered the area in the past millennia. Offering a rainbow of color variations, the area’s beauty is better in person, as photos and video representations aren’t as breathtaking.
