When Is There Too Much Stuff on Your Handgun? Lights and optics can add a lot of capability to your pistol. Especially when it's your primary weapon system. But what about when it's not? I go through these mental gymnastic exercises every so often in order to develop a well thought out opinion on handgun POU's. And after considering a lot of what I have learned about pistol applications in duty roles and their lack of existence in some cases, I started thinking about my own plans regarding an outside of the waistband, duty pistol setup.
