'COVID Cautious' Bowling Is a Thing, and It Is Gloriously Ridiculous - Watch

For some people, the pandemic has forever changed their behavior. Despite being four years removed from the initial outbreak and even the Center for Disease Control declaring an end to the "Public Health Emergency," there are overly concerned Americans who still cling to the outrageously bizarre and paranoid behavior the...

Video: The Time Global Warming Punks Ruined Christmas Tree With Orange Paint, Across 7 Different Cities

With Tuesday being Christmas, here is your reminder that the left takes no days off from hating everything. Flashback to just 2023, when German climate activists decided the holiday season was a tremendous opportunity to push their agenda on several unassuming Christmas trees with a fresh coat of orange paint....

Stranger Finds 2 Brothers Playing Music to Earn Money, Gives Them Christmas They'll Never Forget

Jesus Christ instructed us never to sound the trumpet of self-praise when doing acts of charity. But what happens when the trumpet belongs to the recipient of said charity? What if the recipient had used the instrument to spread joy on Christmas Eve? And what should we think when the...

Fire Erupts At Famous Holiday Market

A fire erupted Friday morning at New York City’s famous holiday market in Bryant Park. Multiple kiosks and the roof of an ice-skating rink caught fire around 9:30 a.m. “We found a fire in the kiosk behind me, approximately 6 feet by about 40 feet long,” FDNY Chief of Battalion 9, Joe Castellano, said, according to the New York Post. “There was fire in there throughout,” he added. WATCH: Bryant Park Christmas Village is on fire #whatisnewyork pic.twitter.com/031iZ2D6He — WhatIsNewYork (@whatisny) December 27, 2024 From the New York Post: Sources told The Post the inferno appeared to have started as a trash fire and then spread to the shed. It wasn’t clear how the trash caught fire. A photo shows a small booth called Seapark, boasting offerings of lobster rolls and seafood fries, catching fire, before massive flames could be seen in images of the market. But Castellano said it looked worse than it was. “There was slight damage to the adjacent kiosk, and there was some heat impingement on the roof of the ice skating rink behind the kiosk on fire,” Castellano said. “No real fire spread, just some flame impingement, and you see a little browning of the white roof structure.” “There were no injuries. The cause of the fire is under investigation by FDNY Fire Marshals,” FDNY wrote. "At about 9:23 this morning, we received a report of a fire in Bryant Park. Units arrived shortly thereafter and found a fire in the kiosk, approximately six feet by 40 feet long. We had a couple of separate occupancies inside that area. There was fire in there and throughout.… pic.twitter.com/Jfhcq0PrLT — FDNY (@FDNY) December 27, 2024 NEW PHOTOS: Emergency crews respond to fire at Bryant Park Winter Village holiday market https://t.co/kEDYjyvIle pic.twitter.com/VjJzQFcWkS — NBC New York (@NBCNewYork) December 27, 2024 Per USA TODAY: Each winter, Bryant Park hosts a large holiday market in the 9.6-acre space, with several vendors, an ice skating rink, a food hall, and igloos. In a statement, the Bryant Park Corporation, the nonprofit that manages the park, said most holiday shops reopened Friday. All holiday shops that weren’t affected by the fire are expected to reopen later in the day as well as the market ice skating rink and lodge, the nonprofit’s statement said. Just over a week ago, another holiday market in Manhattan’s Herald Square, about five blocks south of Bryant Park, had an electrical fire destroy several vendors’ booths. In addition to events at the space, Bryant Park also houses the main branch of the New York Public Library.

The Best RFK Jr. Impression You Will Ever See

I am so impressed by impressionists. I have zero talent in that arena, so I’m always blown away by people that are so good at it. Like Shawn Farash’s Trump or Dana Carvey’s Biden, they’re just SO good! But I figured RFK Jr. would be tough, if not impossible, to mimic given his speaking voice.  How can you even mimic that? Well, apparently you can and it’s so good I’m not sure this isn’t actually the real RFK Jr. From Kill Tony Episode #697, here is comedian and impressionist Kyle Dunnigan with the best RFK Jr. impression you will ever see — and super funny too!   View this post on Instagram   A post shared by TalksOfTheTown Comedy (@talksofthetownn) And if that won’t play for you, try this backup here: The best RFK Jr Impression you will ever see Comedian: @kyledunnigan1 Via: Kill Tony Episode #697#comedy #standupcomedy #killtony #killtonypodcast #kt697 #talksofthetown #tottcomedy #comedyvideos #kyledunnigan #rfk #rfkjr #impression pic.twitter.com/MyIHPt1o5U — Noah Christopher (@DailyNoahNews) December 27, 2024 Everyone is loving it in the comments too, with most people finding the humor to be spot on: That’s how you do it! You just let funny be funny, you don’t push political agendas.  Just find the funny! It’s all from the latest Kill Tony episode, Episode 697. Central American Country Reportedly Open To Assisting President Trump With Deportation Plan

According to reports, Guatemala is open to receiving citizens of other Central American nations deported from the United States. Reuters reports that Guatemala seeks to build a positive relationship with the incoming Trump administration. “There has to be a regional response,” a Guatemalan official told Reuters. “And we want to be part of the solution,” the official added. BREAKING: Guatemala is reportedly open to assisting President-elect Donald Trump with deportations by accepting their own citizens and other Central Americans deported by the United States. — Leading Report (@LeadingReport) December 27, 2024 Per Reuters: The U.S. has struggled to deport nationals from places such as Nicaragua, Venezuela and Haiti due to strained relations. That could prove a challenge for President-elect Donald Trump, who has vowed to deport record numbers of immigrants living in the United States illegally. His team has already reached out to the governments of several countries to test their willingness to take deportees from third countries. Many U.S. neighbors, including Mexico and the Bahamas, have said they do not want to receive deportees from third countries. In 2022, more than 40% of immigrants living in the U.S. illegally came from Mexico, amounting to 4.8 million of 11 million overall, according to a U.S. Department of Homeland Security report. That was followed by Guatemala, El Salvador and Honduras, which together accounted for over one-fifth of the total. Guatemala open to dialogue with Trump team on accepting deported migrants https://t.co/NYoYNnC4JN — The Straits Times (@straits_times) December 27, 2024 USA TODAY reports: Guatemala has been particularly proactive in preparing for a second Trump term relative to neighbors El Salvador and Honduras, meeting with Trump transition team members, Sen. Marco Rubio before he was tapped for secretary of state and the conservative Heritage Foundation think tank, about migration and mass deportations, border security, drug trafficking and China. All three countries, along with a Nicaraguan government that has the most openly hostile relationship with the U.S., face a moment of reckoning, both in handling Trump’s demand they accept deportees and in a potential curtailing of remittances from immigrants in the U.S., which are a major contributor to their economies. The Trump transition team did not immediately respond to a request for comment.

Top 10 Vintage Rock Concerts From 2024

With the pandemic in the rearview mirror, 2024 proved to be a very active year for concerts. Of course, Taylor Swift’s The Eras Tour was by far the highest grossing tour, but good old rock and roll still has a big hand in the game with successful tours tallied by the Rolling Stones, Bruce Springsteen, and Paul McCartney. VintageRock.com correspondents attended and reviewed nearly 40 shows in 2024. After a bit of soul-searching and countless detours around elimination, we whittled it down to 10 shows that stuck out. And with that, we invite you to have a gander at the following in chronological order… Flogging Molly’s Shamrock Rebellion March 16, 2024 Oak Canyon Park | Silverado, CA The spacious grounds of Oak Canyon Park, a pleasant venue nestled in the Santa Ana Mountains of eastern Orange County was the site for the first date of Flogging Molly’s inaugural Shamrock Rebellion. As a pre-Saint Paddy’s Day beer and music festival, it was destined to be an all-out day of fun with a boat load of green-wearing people that thronged the grounds. The second and final date of Shamrock Rebellion would happen the next day in Las Vegas on St. Patrick’s Day. VintageRock.com was there to see four bands perform, but missed the free beer tasting with the brew supplied by the local breweries. Read more > The Black Crowes April 12, 2024 Greek Theatre | Los Angeles, CA The iconic Greek Theatre in Los Angeles opened their 2024 season with a bang, as the Atlanta- based rockers The Black Crowes came to town and gave their audience a classic taste of rock and roll, on a chilly night in Griffith Park. Presented and promoted by Nederlander Concerts, the classic venue was sold out, and the excitement was buzzing amongst the faithful fans, who have been “wanting and waiting” for the band to return to the LA area for the first time since 2021. Read more > The Rolling Stones April 28, 2024 NRG Stadium | Houston, TX The entity known as “The World’s Greatest Rock and Roll Band” keeps rolling along. Celebrating over 60 years as a band and playing the first show of their 16-city Hackney Diamonds Tour, the Rolling Stones showed no signs of slowing down, as they rocked a sold-out NRG stadium in Houston Texas, with a tight, well-rehearsed, 18 song set, before an enthusiastic, all age crowd of fans. Read more > Ringo Starr & His All-Starr Band May 22, 2024 The Venetian | Las Vegas, NV In the heart of Las Vegas, the Venetian was abuzz with anticipation as fans of all ages gathered to witness a musical legend — Ringo Starr & His All-Starr Band. Tonight’s show kicked off a six-night residency at the hotel (as well as a Spring tour), so there was a real sense of excitement in the air. Read more > Dead & Company June 20, 21 & 22, 2024 Sphere | Las Vegas, NV “After this, I don’t know if I can ever go to another concert again…” That was a sentiment I heard at least a half-dozen times over the three nights Dead & Company played Sphere in Las Vegas. It was the third and final weekend of June for the group’s summer-long residency that started in May (they still have July and August to go). In other words, we were near the halfway point of an eyes-and-ears all-in immersive production that fans will likely talk about for years to come. Whether or not, this will be the final concert for anyone is another conversation for another day, though it would certainly be a high note to go out on. Read more > Sammy Hagar The Best Of All Worlds Tour August 19, 2024 Kia Forum | Los Angeles, CA Sammy Hagar, the dynamic singer and businessman, is still having fun in his mid-seventies. Just like he did in the mid-seventies. His singing voice, as well as his infectious enthusiasm about everything he does, is a blessing in a sometimes negative field of the rock music genre for over 50 years. So many miserable types have come and gone in that time frame — too many to list — but Hagar has been a constant positive force, no matter what band he has had the pleasure of performing with. Read more > Iron Maiden October 5, 2024 Michelob ULTRA Arena | Las Vegas, NV Iron Maiden and special guest The HU brought the goods to Las Vegas as part of “The Future Past Tour.” The HU, a Mongolian band known for their unique blend of traditional Mongolian instruments and rock music, opened the show. They recently paid tribute to Iron Maiden by recording a cover of “The Trooper,” which has been well-received by fans. Read more > BEAT October 6, 2024 Keswick Theatre | Glenside, PA I’ll be honest… after witnessing in-person the BEAT quartet of Adrian Belew, Danny Carey, Tony Levin, and Steve Vai tear into tracks from the three of a perfect pair album lineup of King Crimson’s classic 1980s period, I gave serious thought to having this review be the following lyrics from the song “Indiscipline:” “The more I look at BEAT, the more I like it. I do think it’s good! The fact is no matter how closely I study it, No matter how I take it apart, No matter how I break it down, It remains consistent… I wish you were here to see it!” Read more > David Gilmour October 29, 2024 Hollywood Bowl | Hollywood, CA It seems in an instant, that the typical long summer season has finally turned to fall in Southern California. The glorious sunshine of the day turned into a cold and biting wind just as the darkness of night hit. On this night at the Hollywood Bowl, music fans were ready with beanies, blankets, and Patagonia puffy jackets. They were gathered here together to see David Gilmour, the voice and guitar of Pink Floyd, on the first of three sold-out nights at the famous concert venue behind his fifth studio album, Luck And Strange. Read more > The Allman Betts Family Revival December 16, 2024 Ryman Auditorium | Nashville, TN In December, most of the concerts in Nashville carry a holiday theme. However, another tradition around this time of the year is to celebrate the music of the Allman Brothers Band. For the last eight years, The Allman Betts Family Revival has landed in Music City with an all-star cast to take you through the highlights of the legendary Southern Rock band’s catalog. Read more >
