Have you ever seen something so cute that you just didn’t know what to do with yourself? Well, it turns out that this can happen to dogs, too. One pet owner caught the most hilarious footage of her golden retriever meeting two adorable kittens, and the pooch’s reaction is pretty relatable. It looks like Clara the dog might have experienced a cuteness overload! In the clip, a pair of absolutely teeny kittens were sitting on the bed when the golden retriever came over to meet them. She started sniffing the smaller animals curiously before leaning back to take a better look. That’s when she seems to have decided that these were the sweetest little babies she’d ever seen! Clara began to wag her tail like crazy and playfully roll around on the bed. She definitely wanted to play with the cats, but she didn’t know how! Eventually, one of the kittens responded to the pup’s antics by rolling over and reaching for her face. Commenters loved this hilarious video of the golden retriever meeting these kittens. One person tried to guess what Clara was thinking during the interaction, and we think their interpretation is probably pretty accurate. “So cute, can’t look,” they wrote. “Are they still there? OMG they’re still looking at me and they’re still cute. What do I do?? Can we play? CAN WE?????” Screengrab from Instagram In another video, Clara’s owner shared a little bit more information about the foster kitties in the silly clip. Apparently, their names are Macaroni and Gentoo. These precious little ones are only a few weeks old and still need to be bottle-fed! It turns out that, the very first time the golden retriever got to meet these kittens, the smaller animals were safely nestled inside a box. No wonder Clara was so excited to finally play with them!
