Amazon Web Services Nears Recovery After Major Outage Disrupts Apps, Services Worldwide

Amazon.com said on Monday that a cloud computing unit at its data center in northern Virginia had largely contained fallout from a widespread internet outage that caused global turmoil among thousands of sites, including some of the web’s most popular apps like Snapchat and Reddit. Amazon said it had addressed the underlying issue and was close to a resolution, but some users were still complaining of lingering difficulties using services such as digital wallet Venmo and video calling site Zoom. The disruption knocked workers from London to Tokyo offline and halted others from conducting normal everyday tasks like paying hairdressers or changing their airline tickets. It was the largest internet disruption since last year’s CrowdStrike malfunction hobbled technology systems in hospitals, banks and airports, highlighting the vulnerability of the world’s interconnected technologies. It was at least the third time in five years that AWS’s northern Virginia cluster, known as US-EAST-1, contributed to a major internet meltdown. Amazon did not address a request for more clarity about why that particular data center keeps being impacted, instead pointing to an online statement that said the matter had been “fully mitigated.” The problems stemmed from what is known as the Domain Name System, or DNS, which prevented applications from finding the correct address for AWS’s DynamoDB API, a cloud database relied upon to store user information and other critical data. After hours of disruptions, many applications were gradually coming back online in the afternoon in the U.S. But AWS acknowledged that elevated errors were still affecting several services. There were “tons of broken internal services still now as individual resolution and repair occurring,” read language from an internal problem ticket describing the outage and reviewed by Reuters. Lambda, one of AWS’s computing services, was experiencing errors due to issues with an internal subsystem, AWS had said earlier. “We are taking steps to recover this internal Lambda system,” it said. Earlier, AWS said the root cause of the outage was an underlying subsystem that monitors the health of its network load balancers used to distribute traffic across several servers. The issue, AWS said, originated from within the “EC2 internal network.” EC2 refers to Amazon’s “Elastic Compute Cloud” service, which provides on-demand cloud capacity within AWS. Businesses use EC2 to run virtual servers to develop, launch and host applications. AWS had said earlier in the day it was seeing signs of recovery for EC2 use at a few data centers. It was taking similar measures at the remaining locations and expects the problems to subside, AWS added, without providing a specific timeline. While some apps like Reddit and Roblox had largely stabilized, according to outage tracking website Downdetector, others, including Snapchat and Duolingo, were showing a resurgence in issues seen earlier in the day. Ken Birman, a computer science professor at Cornell University, said software developers need to build better fault tolerance into their code. He said AWS provides tools developers can use to protect themselves in the event of a problem at one of any of its sprawling network of data centers, and developers can also create backups with other cloud providers. “When people cut costs and cut corners to try to get an application up, and then forget that they skipped that last step and didn’t really protect against an outage, those companies are the ones who really ought to be scrutinized later,” Birman told Reuters. AWS provides computing power, data storage and other digital services to companies, governments and individuals and is the world’s largest cloud provider, followed by Microsoft’s Azure and Alphabet’s Google Cloud. Disruptions to its servers can cause outages across websites and platforms – ranging from food delivery apps to gaming platforms and airline systems – that rely on its cloud infrastructure. AWS said on its status page that Monday’s outage originated at its US-EAST-1 location in northern Virginia, its oldest and largest for web services. The site suffered outages in 2021 and 2020. According to documentation on the AWS website, the US-EAST-1 site is often the default region for many AWS services. The problem highlights how interconnected everyday digital services have become and their reliance on a small number of global cloud providers, with one glitch wreaking havoc on business and day-to-day life, experts and academics said. “This outage once again highlights the dependency we have on relatively fragile infrastructures,” said Jake Moore, global cybersecurity advisor at European cybersecurity firm ESET. In Britain, Lloyd Bank, Bank of Scotland, and telecom service providers Vodafone and BT were all hit, according to Downdetector’s UK website, as was UK tax, payments and customs authority HMRC’s website. “The main reason for this issue is that all these big companies have relied on just one service,” said Nishanth Sastry, director of research at the University of Surrey’s Department of Computer Science. Ookla, which owns Downdetector, said over 4 million users reported issues due to the incident. “For major businesses, hours of cloud downtime translate to millions in lost productivity and revenue,” said Ryan Griffin, U.S. cyber practice leader at insurance broker McGill and Partners. Wall Street was largely unfazed, sending Amazon shares 1.6% higher to $216.48. Ookla said at least a thousand companies were affected by the outage. Snapchat last had over 7,500 reports on Downdetector, lower than the peak of more than 22,000 but still higher than the 4,000 outage instances at around 7:00 a.m. ET. Artificial intelligence startup Perplexity, cryptocurrency exchange Coinbase and trading app Robinhood all experienced platform disruptions and attributed them to AWS. Amazon’s own services, including its shopping website, Prime Video and Alexa, were also hit, although Downdetector last showed a decrease in severity. Fortnite, owned by Epic Games; Clash Royale and Clash of Clans were among the gaming platforms affected. Uber rival Lyft was also knocked down in the United States. In a post on X, Signal President Meredith Whittaker confirmed the messaging app was hit by the outage as well, though billionaire Elon Musk, who owns X, said his platform continued to work. Brave 12-Year-Old Shares Statement Weeks After Minneapolis Catholic Church Shooting

The city of Minneapolis experienced a heart-wrenching tragedy on August 27. A shooter opened fire at an all-school mass at Annunciation Catholic Church. Fletcher Merkel, 8, and Harper Moyski, 10, died that day. Dozens more were injured, including 12-year-old Lydia Kaiser. A bullet struck the child in the head, but miraculously, she survived. Nearly two months after the shooting, brave Lydia released a statement letting the world know just how she’s feeling now. “Thank you all for supporting me, I’m doing ok. I’ve been allowed to return to school, which is great because I missed my friends and it was hard to miss out on so much. I still can’t play sports, but I’ve been cheering on my friends and running the scoreboard,” shared through GoFundMe. Lydia Kaiser Has A Long Road To Recovery Ahead Lydia Kaiser shared that even though she’s back to school and in a more regular routine, she still struggles. “I get tired more than usual, but I’m not really getting headaches like I used to.My hair is starting to grow back, and it looks fuzzy where they shaved it off for my surgery. I hope it grows back before I start high school. I don’t think it will grow that fast, though,” Lydia wrote. The brave ‘tween also made comments about her schoolmates who passed away in the shooting. “I’m so sad for Harper’s sister and Fletcher’s siblings. Sometimes I think I’m going to wake up from a dream, even though I know what happened is real. It’s so hard to believe I actually got shot, and other kids did too. It makes me angry, but I don’t want to let the shooter win,” she wrote. Lydia Kaiser is determined to make this final year in grade school memorable for all the right reasons. “This is my last year at Annunciation. I’ve been going there my whole life, and it’s like my home and my family,” she wrote. “I’m going to do everything I can to enjoy my 8th-grade year. Thank you so much for your prayers and for all your love and support.” This story’s featured image can be found here. 10 Best Rock Bands To Have Seen Live In The 1970s

If you were not born in the 1960s or before, then you probably did not see any of the bands below live in the 1970s. That’s one of the reasons why I’m writing this article. It’s to explain to people who are too young to have experienced what it was like seeing live music in the 1970s. I went to high school from 1976 to 1979. My first rock concert was Queen and Thin Lizzy in 1976. From that point on, I was going to concerts two to four times a month, not exaggerating. Tickets were cheap, and you could The post 10 Best Rock Bands To Have Seen Live In The 1970s appeared first on ClassicRockHistory.com.

Trump Justice Department Files Charges Against Antifa. What Took So Long?

The Left and Big Media have been on a crusade to persuade the voting public that Antifa, a band of sometimes violent anarchists, is not really a thing. “Antifa is an idea, not an organization,” then-former Vice President Joe Biden argued during a 2020 debate with President Donald Trump. To which Trump rightly responded, “When a bat hits you over the head, that’s not an idea. Antifa is bad.” On Thursday, Trump’s Department of Justice unsealed indictments that charged two alleged Antifa members with providing material support to terrorists, attempted murder of an officer, and discharging a firearm in furtherance of a violent crime during a July 4 attack at the Prairieland Detention Center in Alvarado, Texas. “The Antifa Cell was heavily armed with over 50 firearms,” the document charged. They used an encrypted messaging app, and “at least 11 operatives” were dressed in “black bloc.” The worst charge: A gunman shot an Alvarado police officer in the neck. Many news stories focused on the indictment’s status as the first-ever terrorism charges filed against individuals associated with Antifa. Not right-wing gun nuts. That should come as no surprise after the unconscionable assassination of conservative maverick Charlie Kirk last month and after two failed assassination attempts of Trump last year, as well as the 2024 slaying of UnitedHealthcare CEO Brian Thompson on a New York City sidewalk, and an unprecedented explosion of attacks on Immigration and Customs Enforcement agents since Trump retook office. The liberal Brennan Center for Justice headline, however, announced, “Trump’s Orders Targeting Anti-Fascism Aim to Criminalize Opposition.” Jonathan Choe, a senior fellow at the Discovery Institute, who has documented violent far-left activism, had a different take: “What took so long?” “As far as I’m concerned, this is a good, positive first step,” Choe told me. “So kudos to [FBI Director] Kash Patel.” Amen. Given Antifa’s history of setting fires at protests, bomb throwing, and getting up close and personal with law enforcement and ICE officials, federal authorities should have done this years ago. Choe has no use for so-called experts who insist Antifa isn’t organized. They haven’t been in the front lines or “on the receiving end of a punch from Antifa militants,” as he has. Rep. Dan Goldman, D-N.Y., recently dared critics to name one member of Antifa—his way of pooh-poohing the notion that Antifa is a bona fide organization. The indictment, law professor Jonathan Turley noted on the social media platform X, named two: defendants Cameron Arnold and Zachary Evetts. indictment-ntxDownload Choe sure believes Antifa is an organization. Steven McGuire of the American Council of Trustees and Alumni noted that the anti-fascist mantle “implies the other side is fascist.” And who wants to side with fascists? So, if you are well-armed, lawyered-up, and you call yourself Antifa, you should get a pass because, well, you say you oppose fascism. As the character Roger “Verbal” Kint—or was it Keyser Soze?—said in “The Usual Suspects”: “The greatest trick the Devil ever pulled was to convince the world he didn’t exist.” COPYRIGHT 2025 CREATORS.COM We publish a variety of perspectives. Ohio Judge Could Face Further Consequences Over Charlie Kirk Comments

Judge Ted Berry, a municipal judge for Hamilton County, is closer to being removed from the bench for social media posts celebrating the death of Charlie Kirk, thanks to a resolution filed by state representatives. Among his other comments, Berry declared, with a clown emoji, “Rest in Hatred & Division!” He also claimed that Kirk “spewed hate & division.” Another post asked, “How’s he feel about gun violence and gun control in Hell, now?” Ohio Municipal Judge Ted Berry posted these abhorrent comments about Charlie Kirk's murder.A judge who celebrates the murder of a fellow American for disagreeing with him politically has no business dispensing justice behind the bench. https://t.co/qSyJa6DrKg pic.twitter.com/Fn5WHelKVY— Rep. Josh Williams (@JoshWilliamsOH) October 16, 2025 State Rep. Adam Mathews, one of the Republicans who introduced the resolution to remove Berry, has shared screenshots of the judge’s remarks from his own Facebook page. Mathews spoke with The Daily Signal about his resolution, which he initiated with state Rep. D.J. Swearingen, a fellow Republican. “We have given the judge more than a month,” Mathews reminded, having called for Berry to resign Sept. 12. “And now to defend the courts and the trust that the people must have in them with an unbiased judiciary, we are moving forward with the process to remove the judge as outlined by the Ohio constitution.” The removal process is laid out in Article IV, Section 17 of the state constitution. “Judges may be removed from office, by concurrent resolution of both houses of the general assembly, if two-thirds of the members, elected to each house, concur therein; but, no such removal shall be made, except upon complaint, the substance of which shall be entered on the journal, nor, until the party charged shall have had notice thereof, and an opportunity to be heard,” the section reads. A press release from Mathews’ office lays out the Berry’s alleged violations: Last month, Judge Berry publicly celebrated the death of Charlie Kirk on social media, directly violating the Ohio Code of Judicial Conduct, including: Canon 1, Rule 1.2: Requires judges to uphold public confidence in the judiciary and avoid impropriety;  Canon 2, Rule 2.3: Prohibits bias or prejudice on the basis of race; Canon 2, Rule 2.4: Forbids judges from allowing political or personal interests to influence their judicial duties;  Canon 2, Rule 2.11: Addresses disqualification due to public statements reflecting bias or prejudice. Mathews has reposted local news coverage about the resolution, as well as Libs of TikTok and fellow state representatives, including state Rep. Josh Williams. Thank you @libsoftiktok for highlighting our work. Our courts need to be defended against these biased judges. https://t.co/0SpT0FyQ4n pic.twitter.com/mHzquagJ1r— Adam Mathews (@MathewsforOhio) October 16, 2025 Berry has faced consequences before for his anti-Kirk posts. He was the board member ousted from the Joe Burrow Foundation, launched by Cincinnati Bengals quarterback Joe Burrow. In a previous conversation with The Daily Signal, Mathews noted that Berry was also disinvited from an event last month honoring retiring judges. The municipal court declined to provide comment for The Daily Signal about the state representatives’ resolution to remove Berry. An article from The Cincinnati Enquirer, which Mathews also shared, noted that “Berry has told The Enquirer that he does not condone violence and that he regretted if the posts caused division because that wasn’t his intent.” Ohio legislators begin process to remove Judge Ted Berry over Charlie Kirk posts https://t.co/tf8LeVwZhU via @enquirer— Adam Mathews (@MathewsforOhio) October 16, 2025 Berry is not the only high-profile individual in Ohio to receive negative attention upon making such comments against Kirk after his Sept. 10 political assassination. Former state Rep. Elliot Forhan, who is running as a Democrat for attorney general in Ohio, also made derogatory comments over social media, drawing criticism from Ohio Auditor Keith Faber, a Republican running for the same position. A previous statement from Faber for The Daily Signal also referenced Berry. Over a month later, Kirk’s death continues to draw negative comments from liberals, some who even express glee at his murder. This past weekend, during the nationwide “No Kings Day” rallies protesting President Donald Trump, many expressed that kind of jubilation, as The Daily Signal witnessed firsthand. NO KINGS PROTESTER: Charlie Kirk Is a ‘Piece of Garbage,’ ‘I’m Glad Hitler Is Dead’“Everybody,” including illegal aliens, deserves health care. ‘DEHUMANIZATION’: Byron Donalds Explains Where the Political Violence on the Left Comes From

ORLANDO, Florida—Rep. Byron Donalds, who is running for governor in the Sunshine State in 2026, traces the political violence on the Left back to a desire to silence dissent as parents and others rise up against the Left’s divisive ideologies. When asked about the assassination of Charlie Kirk and the text messages in which Jay Jones—the Virginia Democrat candidate for attorney general—fantasized about shooting his political opponent, Donalds connected the violence to dehumanizing rhetoric. “There’s been a dehumanization, especially on the political Left, where if they can’t find a way to defeat your argument, they have to name call you, try to discredit you, dehumanize you, in order to get on even footing,” Donalds told The Daily Signal in an interview at the Moms for Liberty Joyful Warriors Summit on Saturday. This rhetoric proves “quite destructive” because “mentally ill” people act on the vitriol, he warned. Donalds added that what Jones said in the text messages “disqualified” the Democrat from becoming “the top cop in the state of Virginia.” He said he hopes Jones loses and predicted that the Jones’ scandal would “drag down” other Democrats in the Old Dominion. Investigate Antifa Donalds pledged that, if elected governor, he would investigate the left-wing groups behind Antifa rioters. “The truth is that these left-wing groups are highly organized, highly financed,” he noted. “This stuff is not organic—it is the definition of astroturf. It’s done on purpose, it’s done to intimidate, it’s done to try to silence people who have different worldviews.” He credited Florida’s current governor, Republican Ron DeSantis, with deciding to “battle the Left, battle the medical establishment during COVID, battling back and winning against the teachers unions.” Donalds pledged to “build on top of that success,” in part by pursuing “further investigations” into left-wing violence. Critical Race Theory The congressman wholeheartedly condemned Critical Race Theory, a Marxist lens by which teachers tell children that America is systemically racist and encourage a fundamental transformation of society. After the 2020 death of George Floyd, teachers pushed this theory in classrooms and companies began to adopt racial discrimination in the name of countering “systemic racism.” “You can’t have something like Critical Race Theory be the baseline of academics in elementary school, middle school, high school,” Donalds told The Daily Signal. “It can’t just run companies, you can’t have it run divisions of your firms, your organizations. That’s nuts.” Donalds, a black man, acknowledged America’s complicated history with race but insisted that Critical Race Theory twists the truth. “We know America’s history. It’s not always been good, especially for black people in the country,” he admitted. “But to say today that black people are still in that same position as they were 70 years ago, 90 years ago, 100 years ago, 150 years ago, is also ridiculous, and we don’t need to be permeating a division between Americans today. It’s just not right.” He said America should focus on “equality of access” and merit. “Merit is going to be the great driver of America, not just today, but going forward into the future.” Donalds also noted that he and other black Republicans represent white voters in various parts of the country. “Myself, Wesley Hunt, Burgess Owens, John James—we are all black men who represent majority white districts,” he noted, referencing congressmen from Texas, Utah, and Michigan, respectively. “Tim Scott is the United States Senator from South Carolina. South Carolina does have a strong black population, but it’s a predominantly white state. These are the facts.” He accused the Left of pushing Critical Race Theory to divide Americans “for political gain.” “If it wasn’t profitable on the Left politically, they wouldn’t even care about it. They’d throw it overboard like they did Joe Biden,” he quipped. Moms for Liberty Donalds spoke at the Moms for Liberty summit, and he told The Daily Signal that the issue of parental rights started in Florida, was essential in Virginia’s 2021 election, and is “going to continue to be critical for every election going forward.” He said parents want “full transparency” when it comes to what their children learn. “I think the days of them just being led around by the nose, by the medical establishment, or the education establishment—those days are over, and we’re not going to go back to them.” The post ‘DEHUMANIZATION’: Byron Donalds Explains Where the Political Violence on the Left Comes From appeared first on The Daily Signal.

How to Ensure Dog Chew Toy Safety for Your Pet

Dog chew toy safety affects every pet owner who wants to keep their furry friend healthy and happy. The wrong toy can lead to choking, intestinal blockages, or broken teeth. We at DogingtonPost know that choosing the right chew toy requires understanding your dog’s specific needs and chewing habits. This guide will help you make informed decisions that protect your pet while satisfying their natural urge to chew. Understanding Dog Chew Toy Hazards Dog chew toys create serious health risks when manufacturers use wrong materials or pet owners select inappropriate options. The FDA received multiple reports of illnesses linked to Chinese-made chicken jerky treats, which demonstrates how production location affects pet safety directly. Plastic bones like nylabones damage teeth because manufacturers make them too hard, while real bones, marrow bones, antlers, and hooves cause dental fractures that require expensive veterinary treatment. Toxic Materials Hide in Plain Sight PVC and phthalate-based toys release harmful chemicals when dogs chew them repeatedly. BPA in plastic toys disrupts your dog’s endocrine system over extended periods. Lead paint from unregulated manufacturers causes neurological damage, while formaldehyde triggers skin irritation and respiratory problems. Chromium and cadmium in certain plastics create joint and organ complications that develop slowly but cause lasting harm. Size Creates Life-Threatening Situations Chew toys must match your dog’s weight and mouth dimensions precisely. Tennis balls become choking hazards for large breeds, while oversized toys strain jaw muscles in smaller dogs. Rawhide pieces block gastrointestinal passages (particularly dangerous for dogs under 25 pounds). The Veterinary Oral Health Council maintains approved product lists, but even approved items become hazardous when dogs consume chunks larger than their throat diameter. Aggressive Chewers Face Higher Risks Power chewers break off dangerous fragments within minutes of contact with new toys. These dogs require constant supervision during the first 15 minutes with any chew item. Rope toys fray quickly under aggressive chewing, which creates choking hazards and intestinal blockages when dogs swallow loose fibers. Red Flags That Demand Action Replace chew toys immediately when they show blood stains, missing chunks, or sharp edges. Toys that no longer bend under fingernail pressure have hardened beyond safe limits and will crack teeth. Squeakers exposed after fabric tears become deadly if swallowed. Dogs who drool excessively, paw at their mouth, or refuse food after chewing sessions may have injured themselves or swallowed dangerous pieces. Smart toy selection starts with understanding these hazards, but choosing the right option for your specific dog requires additional considerations. Choosing Safe Chew Toys for Different Dogs Dog size determines chew toy safety more than any other factor. A toy that works for a 15-pound Beagle will kill a 70-pound German Shepherd through choking. The American Kennel Club recommends toys that cannot fit entirely in your dog’s mouth. Test this by placing the toy against your dog’s muzzle – if it disappears completely behind their lips, choose a larger option immediately. Size Matching Prevents Fatal Accidents Small dogs face different risks than large breeds when owners select inappropriate toy sizes. Toys too large for small dogs strain jaw muscles and cause dental misalignment over time. Conversely, undersized toys create immediate choking hazards for larger breeds. Measure your dog’s mouth width and select toys that exceed this dimension by at least 50%. This simple calculation prevents most size-related emergencies. Hardness Tests Reveal Safe Options Press your fingernail into any chew toy before purchase. Safe toys create a visible dent under fingernail pressure, while dangerous ones remain unmarked. The Nylabone Extreme Tough Dog Chew Toy passed durability tests with dogs above 23 kg, but softer alternatives work better for moderate chewers. Veterinarians report that dental fractures come from toys harder than natural bone (making the fingernail test essential for prevention). Material Selection Matches Chew Intensity Heavy chewers need nylon or heavy-duty rubber exclusively. These dogs destroy rope toys within hours and create choking hazards from fabric fragments. Light chewers can safely use compressed edible chews and softer rubber options. Kong rubber toys bend appropriately and receive veterinary approval because they flex under pressure while maintaining structural integrity. Age-Specific Requirements Protect Developing Teeth Puppies under six months require softer materials because their teeth are still developing. Senior dogs over eight years need gentler options due to weakened dental structures. The Veterinary Oral Health Council approves C.E.T. VeggieDent and Greenies for dental benefits, but only when matched to appropriate chew strength. Never give antlers, hooves, or bones to any dog regardless of size – these materials cause expensive dental fractures that require surgical repair. Even perfect toy selection means nothing without proper supervision and maintenance protocols that keep your pet safe during every chew session. Monitoring and Maintaining Chew Toy Safety Daily inspections prevent emergencies that cost thousands in veterinary bills. Set a specific time each morning to examine every chew toy your dog accessed within the previous 24 hours. Check for blood stains, which indicate dental damage or gum injuries that require immediate veterinary attention. Look for chunks that went missing and could lodge in your dog’s digestive system. Sharp edges form when hard toys crack under pressure and will slice your pet’s mouth during future sessions. Press your fingernail into each toy surface – toys that no longer create visible dents have hardened beyond safe limits and you must discard them immediately. Replace Toys Before They Turn Deadly Veterinary emergency clinics report that most chew toy injuries happen with toys owners kept too long. Replace any toy that shows wear after 10 to 15 minutes of aggressive chewing. Rope toys require replacement when individual strands begin to separate (typically after three to five sessions for power chewers). Squeaky toys become hazardous the moment fabric tears expose internal components. Kong toys need replacement when rubber surfaces develop cracks or permanent teeth marks that collect bacteria. Intestinal blockages from swallowed toy fragments create life-threatening emergencies that require surgery within 6-12 hours. Storage Prevents Bacterial Growth Store chew toys in dry containers that prevent moisture accumulation and bacterial growth. Wash rubber and nylon toys weekly with hot water and antibacterial soap to eliminate salmonella and E. coli contamination. Separate chew toys from food bowls during storage to prevent cross-contamination. Rotate available toys every three days to maintain interest while you allow thorough cleaning of unused items (never store damp toys in enclosed spaces where mold develops rapidly). Watch for Warning Signs During Play Monitor your dog continuously during the first 15 minutes with any new chew toy. Dogs who drool excessively, paw at their mouth, or refuse food after sessions may have injured themselves or swallowed dangerous pieces. Remove toys immediately if your dog attempts to swallow large chunks or shows signs of distress. Separate multiple dogs during chew time to prevent competition that leads to rapid consumption and potential fights over toys. Final Thoughts Dog chew toy safety demands consistent attention and smart choices from every pet owner. The fingernail test provides your most reliable method for checking toy hardness, while daily inspections stop dangerous situations before they develop. You must match toy size to your dog’s mouth dimensions, avoid materials like PVC and BPA-containing plastics, and replace worn items when they show blood, missing chunks, or sharp edges. Safe chew sessions require you to supervise new toys for 15 minutes, store items in dry containers, and separate multiple dogs during play time. You should limit sessions to prevent overexertion and wash toys weekly to eliminate harmful bacteria. Power chewers need nylon or heavy-duty rubber exclusively, while gentler options work for light chewers and senior dogs (especially those over eight years old). Smart long-term habits start when you understand your dog’s specific chew patterns and select appropriate materials accordingly. You can rotate toys every three days to maintain interest while you allow thorough cleaning. We at DogingtonPost help you make informed pet care decisions that protect your dog’s health and happiness throughout their life.
