Alex Bruesewitz, an adviser to President Trump’s campaign, collapsed mid-speech while speaking onstage at the New York Young Republican Club gala Sunday night. Bruesewitz, 27, was reportedly introducing incoming White House senior aide Dan Scavino when he began slurring his words and fainted over the lectern. It was not immediately clear what caused him to faint. Master of ceremonies Raheem Kassam, also a former aide of British conservative politician Nigel Farage, later assured the audience that Bruesewitz was doing fine backstage and that he even asked if he “look[ed] cool” when he fainted. “I talked to our friend Alex Bruesewitz and you know what he said to me? So I want to say hello to Alex, because he’s a very special guy,” he added. From the New York Post: The Trump supporter is the CEO of X Strategies LLC, which lists its mission as helping elect America First candidates. “Bruesewitz has been the driving force behind the efforts to defeat Republicans who fight against Trump and the MAGA movement and works to replace them with Republicans who fight for values we hold dear,” an excerpt from his X Strategies website states. The Post has sought comment from X Strategies LLC. In footage of the start of Bruesewitz’s speech, nothing appeared to be off as he commended the New York Republican Club for forcefully backing the 45th and future 47th president, and gave shout-outs to a number of Trump supporters at the event, including former Florida Congressman Matt Gaetz.

Perhaps they can’t see that the Federal Reserve, coupled with reckless government spending, is causing inflation to skyrocket. The problem has gotten so bad that we need someone like former Texas Congressman Dr. Ron Paul – longtime critic of the Federal Reserve – to go in and clean house. “Within the Republican Party, Ron Paul was considered an outlier, a gadfly, maybe even a nuisance for the ‘serious’ people that wanted to do serious policy,” Kibbe says, recalling Dr. Paul’s outspokenness about eliminating the Federal Reserve and the dismissive attitude he was met with. “But now fast-forward ... Sen. Mike Lee has introduced legislation to end the Fed.” Rep. Thomas Massie (R-Ky.) has since picked the bill up. “Americans are suffering under crippling inflation, and the Federal Reserve is to blame," he said. "During COVID, the Federal Reserve created trillions of dollars out of thin air and loaned it to the Treasury Department to enable unprecedented deficit spending. By monetizing the debt, the Federal Reserve devalued the dollar and enabled free-money policies that caused the high inflation we see today." “Thomas Massie is basically mini Dr. Paul,” says Kibbe. “And I say that as a compliment.” On top of Massie carrying Dr. Paul’s torch, “Elon Musk is retweeting Mike Lee about ending the Fed,” and “Dr. Paul is being consulted by the so-called DOGE committee.” “There's a lot of inflation that people are feeling in their pocketbooks and in their grocery basket cart, so people are going back to Dr. Paul and his influence in Austrian economics,” Kibbe says. “It’s the Ron Paul moment.” To hear Kibbe and Newman’s conversation, watch the episode above. Chris Rock appeared on Saturday Night Live’s latest episode as a fourth-time host, and he entertained the audience by playing a doctor who accidentally removes a patient’s gallbladder instead of their appendix. Also joining Chris Rock on SNL was musical guest Gracie Abrams. Things took an interesting twist when Chris Rock’s patient sat up after the operation, showing himself to be Adam Sandler. While complaining to other staff about the surgery gone wrong, he starts to bleed so badly that he covered the doctors in blood. Adam Sandler’s appearance was a surprise for Chris Rock, who appeared on SNL with him in the ‘90s. They also collaborated on movies like The Longest Yard, The Grown Up series, and The Week Off in the 2000s and 2010s, after which they moved on to other projects. After their work relationship, Adam Sandler made his debut as SNL host, after which he starred in more hit movies and Netflix productions. Like Adam Sandler, Chris Rock was also into his showbiz career, making more movies and earning accolades as his career progressed.
