Take the Deal, President Trump

Deal-making is said to be President Trump’s specialty, yet after five rounds of indirect talks with Iran – most recently just days ago – we seem as far away from an agreement as ever. The fifth round ended last Friday with no breakthrough, but at least no breakdown. However, each day that passes without a …

Parker McCollum Says That “Big Ol’ Fancy House” Will NOT Be On His Upcoming Album

This one might break some hearts. Parker McCollum has yet to reveal the tracklist for his forthcoming self-titled album, PARKER MCCOLLUM, but he is letting fans know what didn’t make the cut. And I can’t lie, I’m a little sad hearing about this one. On a recent fan club live stream, McCollum revealed that a fan favorite unreleased song, “Big Ol Fancy House,” did not make the cut for the record’s tracklist. Parker McCollum first teased the song during a live stream last spring, instantly winning over fans with the heartbreaking lyrics. After receiving positive feedback on the song, McCollum then took it to the stage, notably performing it during the record-setting concert with George Strait at Kyle Field in College Station, Texas, last summer. @whiskeyriff @parkermccollum // whiskeyriff.com #whiskeyriff #parkermccollum #kylefield #georgestrait #newmusic ♬ original sound – Whiskey Riff The lyrics detail the heartbreak of ending a relationship where the two lived together (perhaps a marriage). While the narrator is trying to move on, he is consistently reminded of what once was, and he realizes that he will go mad living in a space that constantly reminds him of the love and memories they once shared. “I thought you would be the one to kill me Guess it’s true I can’t live with the memory  What do I do? I thought I could live without you And I lied Now this big ol’ empty house  Is eating me alive.” The song follows the formula for a classic Parker McCollum heartbreaker. However, despite teasing the song on stage for quite some time, McCollum recently shared during a fan club live stream that the beloved song will not appear on PARKER MCCOLLUM. “Oh yeah, no. ‘Big Ol Fancy House’ isn’t on the record.”  He casually said this while talking to his fans. One TikTok user shared the moment on his page, noting he was one of the heartbroken fans who heard this news. Other fans who might not have been on the live stream also commented on the video, disappointed with this news. “WTF NO WAY THIS IS HOW I FIND OUT.” “Like a knife to the heart for real.” “He better be lying.” A few other fans noted that he giggled after making that statement, so he might be trying to psych out fans. I want to think that McCollum wouldn’t take us on an emotional rollercoaster like this, but maybe he is playing games with us. @chacepence Like stab in the heart… #fyp #parkermccollum #goldchaincowboy #limestonekid #parkermccollumtiktok #fypシ @parkermccollum ♬ original sound – ʚĭɞ Only time will tell if this is fact or fiction. PARKER MCCOLLUM is due everywhere on June 27th, and shortly after the album’s release, McCollum will hit the road to celebrate the 14-song record. His extensive tour kicks off in Richmond, Virginia, this June and runs through October, ending in Bismarck, North Dakota. You can check out all of the tour dates below or at Vivid Seats, which gives you free tickets just for going to concerts. Dierks Bentley Announces The Broken Branches Fund, Offering Mental Health Resources For The Creative & Touring Community

Giving back to the community. Dierks Bentley is gearing up to release his 1th studio record, Broken Branches, due everywhere on June 13th. The record features collaborations from artists like Miranda Lambert, Riley Green, and John Anderson. When Bentley shared the tracklist with the world, he noted that throughout the entirety of his career, he’s worked with “broken branches.” Folks, songwriters, producers, and more who believed in him and championed him. This project praises every being that stands behind an artist or a successful song. “My whole career has been built alongside a community of other Broken Branches, in the writers rooms and recording studios across Music Row. I’m more appreciative than ever for the songwriters, musicians, producers, artists, and friends who helped bring this idea to life. Some I’ve known for a long time and a few who are just joining the family.” View this post on Instagram A post shared by Dierks Bentley (@dierksbentley) Since Bentley is paying homage to the “broken branches” that have helped him throughout his career and the making of this album, he’s decided that it’s time to give back to those who have poured so much into him and the next generation of artists and other music professionals. Today, Bentley announced the Broken Branches Fund with a multi-year financial commitment to provide mental health resources to the creative and touring communities. “Making this album and prepping for the tour, I’ve never been more aware of the sacrifice that the people in this town make every day to keep country music playing. Whether you’re sitting in a room all day trying to write the perfect hook or leaving home on a bus for weeks at a time, it can be isolating and exhausting. This just felt like the right opportunity to make a bigger commitment on my part to supporting those folks and their families in a more direct and intentional way.” Bentley is launching this fund in partnership with Music Health Alliance (MHA). The Broken Branches Fund will provide mental health grants for qualified candidates and their families to cover outpatient counseling and follow-up care. Fans will also have the chance to interact with the Broken Branches Fund activations during Bentley’s Broken Branches tour, and can give to the fund if they feel called to do so. Tatum Allsep, Founder and CEO of Music Health Alliance, spoke a few words about Bentley’s work and praised him for his commitment to the community. “Dierks was one of the first artists to believe in and support Music Health Alliance, and from day one, he’s led with both heart and action. Creating the Broken Branches Fund at MHA to support music’s mental health shows his deep commitment to the people who power our industry both on stage and off, and to their well-being for many years to come.” Bentley is embracing the imperfections that have given him a successful career spanning over two decades and still counting, and now he is offering help to others who hope to follow the same path. Before you go, check out the album’s lead single “She Hates Me.” Bentley will kick off his 30-city tour this Thursday (5/29), joined by Zach Top and The Band Loula, to celebrate the music of his 11th record. Bentley knows how to put on one helluva show, so if he’s coming to a city near you, this is not one to miss. You might even see the Hot Country Knights on this tour too… View this post on Instagram A post shared by Dierks Bentley (@dierksbentley) 2025 BROKEN BRANCHES TOUR DATES: 5/29 – Austin, TX – Moody Center ^ 5/30 – Dallas, TX – Dos Equis Pavillion ^ 5/31 – Tulsa, OK – BOK Center * 6/5 – Alpharetta, GA – Ameris Bank Amphitheatre * 6/6 – Tampa, FL – MIDFLORIDA Credit Union Amphitheatre * 6/7 – West Palm Beach, FL – iTHINK Financial Amphitheatre # 6/12 – Toronto, ON – Budweiser Stage * 6/14 – Tinley Park, IL – Credit Union 1 Amphitheatre * 6/19 – Chula Vista, CA – North Island Credit Union Amphitheatre * 6/20 – Phoenix, AZ – Talking Stick Resort Amphitheatre * 6/21 – Albuquerque, NM – Isleta Amphitheater * 6/26 – Los Angeles, CA – Intuit Dome ^ 6/27 – Wheatland, CA – Toyota Amphitheatre * 6/28 – Mountain View, CA – Shoreline Amphitheatre * 7/10 – Virginia Beach, VA – Veterans United Home Loans Amphitheater * 7/11 – Bristow, VA – Jiffy Lube Live * 7/12 – Mansfield, MA – Xfinity Center ^ 7/18 – Cincinnati, OH – Riverbend Music Center * 7/19 – Noblesville, IN – Ruoff Music Center * 7/31 – Salt Lake City, UT – Utah First Credit Union Amphitheatre * 8/1 – Nampa, ID – Ford Idaho Center Amphitheater * 8/7 – Camden, NJ – Freedom Mortgage Pavilion ^ 8/8 – Raleigh, NC – Coastal Credit Union Music Park at Walnut Creek * 8/9 – Charlotte, NC – PNC Music Pavilion * 8/14 – Buffalo, NY – Darien Lake Amphitheater ^ 8/15 – Holmdel, NJ – PNC Bank Arts Center * 8/16 – Bethel, NY – Bethel Woods Center for the Arts * 8/21 – Savannah, GA – Enmarket Arena * 8/22 – Birmingham, AL – Coca Cola Amphitheatre * 8/23 – Biloxi, MS – Mississippi Coast Coliseum * 8/28 – New York, NY – Madison Square Garden * 8/29 – Burgettstown, PA – The Pavilion at Star Lake ^ 8/30 – Clarkston, MI – Pine Knob Music Theatre ^ This post contains links from our Affiliate Partners program. Ukraine’s Western Allies Greenlight Long-Range Strikes on Russia

Ukraine’s most powerful allies have lifted restrictions on long-range weapons they’ve sent to the beleaguered country, German Chancellor Friedrich Merz announced Monday. The move, following Russia’s intensified drone and missile campaign in Ukraine, gives Kiev the greenlight to strike deep inside Russian territory. “There are no longer any range restrictions on weapons delivered to Ukraine—neither by the British nor by the French nor by us nor by the Americans,” Merz said. “This means that Ukraine can now defend itself, for example, by attacking military positions in Russia… With very few exceptions, it didn’t do that until recently. It can now do that.” The policy change raises the specter of Russian nuclear retaliation. Last November, after President Joe Biden authorized Ukraine to strike Russia with U.S.-provided long-range weapons, Moscow revised its nuclear doctrine, lowering the threshold for nuclear use. In addition, the updated doctrine declared that a conventional attack by a non-nuclear state supported by a nuclear power would be considered a joint attack on Russia.  The same month, Russia fired a multiple-warhead, nuclear-capable ballistic missile at Ukraine—the first-ever use of such a weapon in combat. Responding Monday to Merz’s announcement, Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov cast doubt on whether Western nations had actually changed their policy. “If such decisions have indeed been made, they are entirely at odds with our aspirations for a political resolution and with the efforts currently being made toward a settlement,” Peskov said. The Kremlin says that Ukraine’s use of Western-supplied long-range weapons against Russia makes the West a direct participant in the Russia-Ukraine war, since such attacks require targeting assistance from NATO nations. The Monday development comes on the heels of harsh statements by President Donald Trump directed against Putin, whom analysts say is delaying a resolution of the Ukraine war. Trump wrote Sunday on Truth Social, “I’ve always had a very good relationship with Vladimir Putin of Russia, but something has happened to him. He has gone absolutely CRAZY!” Earlier that day, Trump told reporters, “I don’t know what the hell happened to Putin.” In response, Peskov expressed gratitude to the U.S. for launching peace talks and attributed Trump’s harsh comments to “emotional overload.” The post Ukraine’s Western Allies Greenlight Long-Range Strikes on Russia appeared first on The American Conservative.
