New York Magazine Fantasizes in Extreme Detail About Trump's Life in Federal Prison

In the sad annals of Trump Derangement‚ perhaps the bizarre vengeance porn fantasies of New York magazine's Ankush Khardori stands alone in coming from a very very dark place. The typical sufferer of TDS might hope for the imprisonment of Donald Trump and leave it at that. In the case of Khardori he went full mental jacket on Monday in that magazine's Intelligencer section with an over-3500-word diatribe dripping with Trump hate in which he fantasized in extreme detail what imprisonment for the President would look like as you can see in this unhinged missive "What Happens‚ Exactly‚ If Trump Is Sentenced to Prison?" [Image is also their imagination.] Above Khardori's overlong rant disguised as an article is a fantasy picture of Trump's Bureau of Prisons identity card. Khardouri even has Trump's future prison picked out for him which he describes in excruciating detail. As you read these asylum worthy Khardori rants that follow you can almost hear echoes  from one of the most famous of The Far Side cartoons screaming "Just Plain Nuts!" The federal prison camp in Pensacola‚ Florida — an all-male minimum-security facility that currently holds about 500 convicts — is an eight-and-a-half-hour drive from Mar-a-Lago‚ not far from the border with Alabama. The complex contains 20 buildings‚ a track for jogging or walking‚ and designated recreational areas for inmates to play a variety of sports‚ including basketball‚ volleyball‚ soccer‚ and tennis. The prison has housed a variety of white-collar offenders‚ including former New York congressman Chris Collins (who was serving time for insider trading before being pardoned by Trump)‚ and it is currently home to former reality-television star Todd Chrisley‚ who was sent there after being convicted of financial crimes. But wait! Khardori is far from finished in his description of the Pensacola prison or FPC Pensacola as he informs us. FPC Pensacola‚ as it is known‚ is a leading contender for the prison that would house Trump. The process of selecting a facility for a convicted felon usually begins in the Designation and Sentence Computations Center of the Bureau of Prisons in Grand Prairie‚ Texas‚ where a specialist reviews the incoming prisoner’s file in order to generate a score that correlates to different levels of security — ranging from minimum- to high-security facilities. The relevant inputs include the nature of the offenses in generic terms (in Trump’s case‚ fraud and obstruction)‚ the defendant’s criminal record‚ as well as his age‚ education level‚ and history of violent behavior or drug and alcohol abuse. The BOP is supposed to place each inmate in a facility that is reasonably close to where he will be released; in Trump’s case‚ that would presumably be Mar-a-Lago‚ which Trump designated as his legal residence in 2019. Naturally‚ all of this is just too good for Trump‚ who's somehow comparable to terrorists: The idea of Trump serving time in a place like FPC Pensacola‚ with its open-air amenities and mild climate‚ might be disappointing to people who would prefer to see him in the sort of remote‚ high-security facility that houses terrorists‚ but it would be replete with indignities for the former president. Minimum-security prisons are still prisons. “You’re still not free to go wherever you want. You still have people telling you where to go‚ when to go‚ what have you‚” Hurwitz told me. “You don’t have your freedom.” But what if the courts sentence Trump to home confinement rather than the exact prison that Khardori envisioned? Not to worry! He has game planned that contingency down to the smallest detail including ankle bracelets at Mar-a-Lago. The standard methods of federal home confinement involve an ankle bracelet on the convict‚ which alerts a probation officer if he leaves a designated area. The traditional ankle bracelet model tends to be “challenging” when the defendants “have large residences‚” Chris Maloney‚ the former chief U.S. probation officer in the district of New Jersey and the district of Massachusetts‚ told me. And now for a big surprise. Ankush Khardori is not only a contributing editor at New York magazine but is also a contributing writer for Politico which wants the public to believe it is a professional periodical about politics. This begs the question over whether Politico has at least minimal mental health vetting for its writers.

NewsBusters Podcast: The Elites Explode Before Tucker's Putin Gabfest

Tucker Carlson announced he's in Moscow to interview Vladimir Putin. Elitists like Bill Kristol and Adam Kinzinger exploded in anger at the "traitor‚" who somehow shouldn't be allowed back in the country. Journalists have been known to interview anti-American tyrants before‚ so what gives? Barbara Walters‚ George Stephanopoulos‚ Charlie Rose‚ and Megyn Kelly (in her NBC days) all interviewed Putin‚ and the elites never trashed them as "traitors." Could we wait and see what happens?  Lester Holt just interviewed Iran's ambassador to the United Nations for the NBC Nightly News‚ and no one called him a "traitor" for interviewing someone from an an authoritarian anti-American regime.  We also discuss Joy Reid praising Adam Kinzinger and Liz Cheney on the Colbert show‚ Elon Musk getting "fact checked" for suggesting Team Biden is importing future voters from Mexico (you can't say that!)‚ the New York Times drama over 'book bans" in the flyover states‚ and the hubbub and folderol over a Wall Street Journal op-ed designating Dearborn‚ Michigan as "America's Jihad Capital." Team Biden declined once again to participate in a softball interview before the Super Bowl‚ which rotated to CBS this year. Are they really afraid of Obama-loving Gayle King? They're just afraid of Biden stepping in gaffe doo-doo‚ or getting cranky when someone asks the most mildly challenging question. The Bidenites lamely claimed they're being "more creative" and going around the traditional media‚ since the voters don't really follow traditional media any more.  And the traditional media has no self-respect. That answer doesn't make them angry at all. Why wouldn't the Democrats avoid interviews with other Democrats? Who needs the trouble?  Enjoy the podcast below‚ or wherever you check out your podcasts.

Family of Kansas City Chiefs fan smeared as racist files lawsuit against Deadspin

The family of a 9-year-old Kansas City Chiefs fan smeared as a racist has filed a defamation lawsuit against Deadspin for its dishonest reporting. Holden Armenta was lambasted by writer Carron Phillips at the sports news outlet after wearing a Native American headdress to a game between the Chiefs and the Las Vegas Raiders in November. "It takes a lot to disrespect two groups of people at once. But on Sunday afternoon in Las Vegas‚ a Kansas City Chiefs fan found a way to hate Black people and the Native Americans at the same time‚" wrote Phillips at the time. Immediately after the outlet published the article‚ critics pointed out that it had used a misleading photograph only showing one half of the child's face in order to make it appear as if he was wearing blackface. "Yeah‚ just ruin this young fans life with your lying headline and misleading picture. This wasn’t black face‚ nor was it about race. It’s about support for the team‚" read one critical tweet. Armenta's parents‚ Shannon and Raul‚ said that the report from Deadspin led to “the family to a barrage of hate‚ including death threats.” The lawsuit claimed that the article misled readers by not including a full photograph of the boy with half of his face painted red and thereby “maliciously and wantonly" attacked "a nine-year-old boy and his parents for Phillips’ own race-drenched political agenda.”The Armentas pointed out that their son's grandfather was on the board of the Chumash Tribe in Santa Ynez‚ California‚ and yet‚ Deadspin refused to retract the article or apologize. “It intentionally painted a picture of the Armenta Family as anti-Black‚ anti-Native American bigots who proudly engaged in the worst kind of racist conduct motivated by their family’s hatred for Black and Native Americans‚" the lawsuit read. The lawsuit is asking for unspecified damages. In 2020‚ the Chiefs decided to ban headdresses from being worn at their stadium‚ but Armenta was attending an away game in Las Vegas when he wore the headdress. The Chiefs went on to defeat the Raiders on their way to winning a trip to the Super Bowl‚ which will be held in Las Vegas on Sunday. Here's an interview of Holden Armenta: Like Blaze News? Man with 2 machetes allegedly lunged at police before they shot and killed him at California grocery store

A man was shot and killed by deputies at a grocery store in California after they say he charged them with two machetes. The Los Angeles County sheriff's office said they responded to a call from an Albertson's grocery store in Lancaster at 20th Street West at about 9:30 a.m. "When I walked in there was a guy arguing with the customers‚ and then I knew he had like a machete on the side‚" said an unidentified Albertsons employee to KABC-TV. The sheriff's office said the man had the machetes in his backpack when they arrived‚ but he grew "agitated" and grabbed them out of his bag. They tried to subdue the man using non-lethal methods‚ including stun guns‚ before he allegedly charged at police with the machetes. They opened fire‚ and he was transported to a hospital where he was later pronounced dead. "I heard shots and then everybody started running to the back and we exited through the back‚" said the employee. "That's the worst experience I've ever had." Investigators said they recovered two machetes at the scene. No other injuries were reported‚ and police said that there were many people shopping at the store at the time. Three deputies were involved in the shooting‚ according to the sheriff's office. Investigators said that the man had been at a Chevron gas station previously in the day and had attacked a store employee at about 3 a.m. That employee was cut in the hand and was transported to a hospital by a customer‚ according to KABC. Police said that the gas station employee's injuries were not life-threatening. The man who was killed was only described as a being between 35 and 40 years of age. Gang member with criminal history arrested after previously being removed from US 6 times: ICE

Authorities arrested a Honduran who was previously removed from the U.S. half a dozen times‚ according to U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement. The gang member‚ who was arrested on February 1 after illegally entering the U.S. near Newport‚ Vermont‚ has a significant criminal record‚ the ICE press release indicated."The Honduran national was removed from the United States in January 2006‚ twice in June 2013‚ February 2015‚ July 2015 and February 2016. He has been convicted of DWI‚ assault and battery‚ unauthorized use of a vehicle‚ illegal entry‚ disorderly conduct and drug trafficking. During an immigration hearing‚ he admitted he was affiliated with the Sicarios New Yorkers-XV-18 branch of the 18th Street Gang‚" ICE noted. "In October 2022‚ a Honduran court convicted him of drug trafficking charges and sentenced him to four years and six months of incarceration. After he failed to appear to serve his sentence in July 2023‚ the court issued a warrant for his arrest‚" the press release noted. "The Department of Homeland Security (DHS) again arrested the gang member Feb. 1‚ 2024‚ after he unlawfully entered the United States near Newport‚ Vermont‚ without being inspected‚ admitted or paroled by a designated immigration official."The arrest demonstrates the importance of border security for the sake of public safety. Border Patrol Chief Jason Owens has noted that authorities recently arrested a Mexican man who had served time for molestation of a minor. "USBP agents in Laredo‚ TX arrested another child predator trying to enter our country illegally. This subject‚ a Mexican National‚ served 10 yrs in prison for a Molestation of a Minor‚ a felony conviction‚" Owens' tweet stated. — (@) Like Blaze News?
