Congressional Review Acts Signed!

Thursday, President Trump signed three (3) pieces of legislation, H.J. Res 87, H.J. Res 88 and H.J. Res 89, which revoke waivers granted to the State of California, allowing it to set its own emissions standards. These resolutions were passed by the U.S. Congress in recent months and are a strong sign of the commitment by some in Washington D.C., to push back against the attack on the internal combustion engine. Support for actions like this has been a key part of the Motorcycle Riders Foundation’s (MRF) legislative agenda. During the recent Bikers Inside the Beltway event, MRF members spent time advocating for the passage of these bills in the U.S. Senate, where they had temporarily stalled after being passed by the U.S. House earlier in the year. Additionally, the MRF wishes to thank the thousands of you who answered recent online Calls to Action on this topic. A process known as the Congressional Review Act was the mechanism by which these bills were passed. Because of the unique way they moved through Congress, opponents are already signaling their intent to file legal challenges. While this battle will now likely continue in the courts, it is nevertheless important to celebrate this victory for the survival of the internal combustion engine. The fight will go on… and the MRF will be here for that fight. Former NFL Star Who Supported President Trump Wanted On Attempted Murder Charges

Things don’t look good for former NFL star Antonio Brown. An arrest warrant for attempted murder charges has been filed against Brown over a shooting incident last month in Miami. While with the Pittsburgh Steelers, Brown was an All-Pro player who later went on to win a Super Bowl with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. During the 2024 Presidential election, Brown supported Trump and spoke at one of his rallies. The warrant in Miami-Dade County lists a charge of attempted murder with a gun and calls for Brown to post a $10,000 bond and remain under house arrest pending trial, The Washington Post reported Thursday. Fox News Digital previously reported that Brown appeared to be involved in several videos on social media in an incident at a Miami boxing event that night. One video showed Brown appearing to fight in a parking lot as a crowd moved toward an alley. Then, a gunshot appeared to ring out, sending spectators running in the opposite direction. Brown was spotted in handcuffs being led to the back of a cruiser. The event was hosted by popular streamer Adin Ross. It was a 10-match card sponsored by Stake, Kick and Brand Risk Promotions. Brown was detained by authorities after he was involved in a fight with several people at the May 16 event, which was hosted by popular streamer Adin Ross. The former football player later took to social media, claiming he was “jumped” by people attempting to steal his jewelry. A warrant obtained by the Washington Post stated that video showed Brown punching a man before stealing a gun from a security guard and running toward him. Police said the cellphone video then captured two gunshots ringing out. The victim was grazed in the neck by a bullet. A struggle ensued over the gun before police arrived and Brown walked away, according to the warrant. The victim, who said he has known Brown since 2022, was taken to the hospital. The wide receiver played 12 seasons in the NFL, including two with the Bucs. In January 2022, Brown took off his jersey and pads in the third quarter of a game and stormed off the field. He announced his retirement from professional football two months later.
