Teary-Eyed Police Chief Says DHS Shot Tren De Aragua–Linked Suspects

It appears more criminals are trying to run over DHS agents. Last Thursday in Portland, Oregon, two criminals attempting to run over an ICE agent were shot. Now, you’re not hearing quite as much about this story as the story in Minneapolis. That’s because it wasn’t some white lesbian activist. In this case, as the local news in Portland reports, the two people who tried to run over the federal agent were a suspected gangster and his prostitute, both of whom appear to have ties to Tren de Aragua. This is another example of body camera footage and the facts vindicating law enforcement, totally upending the liberal narrative. The same thing happened in Minneapolis. In fact, the Left’s attempt to gin up these kinds of stories against cops goes all the way back to the Michael Brown case. Here we have a very clear case: illegal immigrants associated with a particularly violent Venezuelan gang, running a human trafficking ring, trying to run over cops, who were then shot. It appears they weren’t killed, but they were stopped. And yet, the Police Chief in Portland, Bob Day, had a different take on law enforcement preventing Latin American gangsters from running them over: Watch: Portland Police Chief Bob Day deserves to be mocked. This is pathetic. pic.twitter.com/xFQM2Lqsqi — Gunther Eagleman™ (@GuntherEagleman) January 10, 2026 Credit: @GuntherEagleman/CollinRugg/X.com And what I can say is there is an association with the two folks yesterday and TDA, Tren de Aragua. I hesitated to even share this information initially because I’m very aware of the historic injustice of victim blaming, oftentimes portrayed by law enforcement, including this very agency that I’ve represented so proudly for so many years — for just a moment, specifically to my Latino community. It’s sad and small, my goodness, that we even have to qualify these remarks, because I understand — or at least have attempted to understand through your voices — your concern, your fear, your anger. This information in no way is meant to condone or support or agree with any of the actions that occurred yesterday. What actions occurred yesterday? The actions that occurred were that Venezuelan gangsters, associated with a foreign terrorist organization, tried to run over a cop, and he shot them. He says, “I hesitated to even share this information initially because I’m very aware of the historic injustice of victim blaming…” The victim in this case being a Venezuelan pimp terrorist who was trying to run over a cop in America. He says, “This information in no way is meant to condone…” You don’t condone it? You should resign. You don’t condone federal law enforcement protecting itself against a terrorist trying to run them over? A pimp, Venezuelan illegal terrorist trying to run them over? You don’t condone that? Then you need to resign, because your judgment is severely impaired. Portland’s police chief then starts crying. Crying? Even the most sensitive woman, the most opposed to violence, a dainty little gal with a modicum of common sense would not cry in this situation. If one were to cry in this situation, it would be on behalf of the poor law enforcement officer almost run over by these animals. But no, he cries for the animals. WATCH: The Michael Knowles Show So how do we prevent more incidents like these? Allow federal law enforcement to vigorously enforce the law. Because if we don’t, one of two things will happen. Either these people are going to run amok, which will result in more rioting and a lot of dead leftist agitators, as happened during BLM. When the politicians told the cops to stand down, BLM burned down cities across the country. Dozens of people caught up in the mob violence were killed, many of them sympathetic to BLM. The other option is police and federal agents not allowing themselves to be run over — whether by agitators, white ladies in Minneapolis, or foreign gangsters. Those are the only two options. If you want fewer dead agitators, which I do, then allow law enforcement to do their job. I don’t celebrate the death of the lady in Minneapolis. I don’t even really celebrate when Tren de Arugula gang members are mowed down. I would much rather see them reformed. Let them repent and lead flourishing lives. So if you want those people not to be injured or killed, you need the law to be enforced. You need to smash some windows in the cars blocking ICE officers, move them out of the street, and let law enforcement do their job.

Dan Bongino Announces His Return To Air After Exit From Trump’s FBI

Former FBI deputy director Dan Bongino will return to the airwaves on February 2 with a new show streaming on Rumble. Bongino announced his return to podcasting on Monday after exiting the FBI at the start of the year. “The Dan Bongino Show,” when it returns, will be live-streamed exclusively on Rumble from 10 a.m. to noon ET. The show will bring “Bongino’s unique insider perspective back to his loyal audience following a year of government service,” according to a press release. After the livestream, the show will be released on all major podcast platforms. “The new version of The Dan Bongino Show will expand on its legacy with a renewed focus on Washington insights, behind-the-scenes details from his time in government, and a message of hope and resilience in the conservative movement,” the release says. Thank you all for allowing me to serve you. We’re back on air February 2nd at 10a ET, live on https://t.co/G2Wjvsa9dR. There’s a lot to talk about. ?? pic.twitter.com/6C4IEnXYMY — Dan Bongino (@dbongino) January 12, 2026 Bongino was a popular conservative podcaster before he returned to public service as the deputy director of President Donald Trump’s FBI. After joining the administration early last year, Bongino took part in major Justice Department cases, including the release of files related to the late, disgraced financier Jeffrey Epstein. Bongino also played a leading role in the investigation into the person who left pipe bombs outside of the Democratic and Republican national headquarters in Washington, D.C., on January 5, 2021. Attorney General Pam Bondi noted in a press conference last month that arresting the suspected bomber was “the best birthday present” Bongino could have asked for. Bongino also reportedly clashed with Bondi throughout his tenure at the bureau over the handling of the Epstein files. Bondi teased potential bombshells to be revealed in additional documents made public, but the bombshells never materialized. Bongino and FBI Director Kash Patel, before release of the files, warned that the documents did not contain smoking guns such as a list of all of Epstein’s acquaintances suspected of sexually abusing underage girls. White House chief of staff Susie Wiles criticized Bondi’s handling of the Epstein release last year. Wiles complimented Bongino and Patel, however. “The people that really appreciated what a big deal this is are Kash [Patel] and [FBI deputy director] Dan Bongino,” she said, referring to the release of the Epstein files. She noted that the pair had been among the loudest calling for transparency in the case.

Figure Skater Makes Parents’ Olympic Dreams Come True 1 Year After Tragic Deaths

Figure skater Maxim Naumov was destined for greatness. His parents, Vadim Naumov and Evgenia Shishkova, won the World Championship in pairs figure skating in 1994 and competed twice for Russia at the Olympic Games. In January 2025, he left Wichita, Kansas, on a flight following his fourth-place finish at the U.S. championship. His parents took a later American Airlines flight that crashed into a military helicopter and then into the Potomac River. Tragically, 67 people died, and 28 had connections to U.S. figure skating. The deaths devastated many, including Maxim. But he knew that his parents would want him to keep skating. He dedicated the next year to training, improving, and getting to the Olympic Winter Games Milano Cortina 2026. On January 11, that dream came true. View this post on Instagram A post shared by TODAY (@todayshow) Maxim Naumov Will Represent the United States in the Olympics After a stellar performance at the U.S. Figure Skating Championships in St. Louis, Maxim Naumov secured his place on the team. Maxim sat holding a photo of himself as a child with his parents, all three in skates.  He told Hoda Kotb following the championships that in his heart, he told his parents, “We did it. We did it together.” The 24-year-old admitted he would not be where he is without the love and dedication of his mom and dad. Seeing Maxim Naumov heading to Milano Cortina touched many hearts. “Every bit of Maxim , from when he was little , and all that has transpired, is all a big part of his story, and his amazing talents. Good Luck Maxim, we will be watching, supporting, cheering you on and most of all, praying for you. Can’t wait for Milan, We Love you!!” A fan wrote. “As a die hard skating fan, let’s focus on the why and the how he got there. His prior successes and his current season. Period. I love Max’s skating and I want it to be appreciated on its own,” another agreed. Congratulations to Maxim and everyone competing for Team USA. Kittens Born to a Feral Cat Turn into Happiest Bunch When They Realize Their World is About to Be Much Better

Three kittens born to a feral cat became the happiest bunch when they realized their lives were about to get a whole lot better. Flower, Bambi, and ThumperAlyssa @orlandofosterkittensFor the first few weeks of their lives, three kittens, Bambi, Thumper, and Flower, were hidden away by their feral mother, who had evaded rescue for years.Volunteers from Liberation Cat House had been trying to get her spayed, but she had outsmarted every humane trap. "We're not giving up and hope to eventually be able to end the cycle (of endless litters)," Alyssa, a volunteer with the rescue, told Love Meow. When the kittens were located, the team knew they had to act fast. Alyssa @orlandofosterkittensKittens are best left with their mother until they are weaned, as this gives them the strongest chance of survival. Even so, most kittens born outdoors do not survive to adulthood."Their mom has a track record of hiding her kittens until they're far too old and feral to be socialized. We had to act immediately so these kittens would have a chance at a better life. The first week was a rollercoaster for all of us." Alyssa @orlandofosterkittensAt first, everything was new and confusing for the kittens—soft blankets, bowls of food and water, and a caring human tending to their every need. But it didn't take long for them to realize they were safe.Getting them onto solid food was a rocky transition. "I worried they weren't eating enough or gaining weight in the beginning." Alyssa @orlandofosterkittensAlyssa spent hours each day patiently teaching them to eat from a dish, guiding them with a baby spoon while offering words of encouragement. When the kittens finally caught on, their appetites took off. They devoured their meals and began growing by leaps and bounds. "I'm proud to say they've finally gotten the hang of it, and they're truly thriving." Alyssa @orlandofosterkittensAs their strength and confidence grew, their curious and adventurous sides quickly emerged. They explored every corner of their space, claiming toys and cat furniture as their own. "They were definitely happy to finally have a warm, soft bed to snuggle up in."Now that they are bigger and stronger, their personalities are beginning to shine. Alyssa @orlandofosterkittensFlower, the gray kitten with a hint of dilute tortie coloring, may be the smallest of the trio, but what she lacks in size she more than makes up for with sass. Thumper, the gray kitten with white mittens, boasts the loudest purr motor and turns it on the moment he's touched. And "Bambi has the cutest and most unique markings." Alyssa @orlandofosterkittensIn just one week, the kittens have fully embraced indoor life. They actively seek out attention from their foster mom and spend their days wrestling with one another. "They're at the cutest age where they're not quite coordinated enough to full-out run, so they do the silliest little waddles instead."When playtime finally wears them out, all three pile into their foster mom's lap for naps. Alyssa @orlandofosterkittensOnce timid and unsocialized, the kittens have transformed into affectionate little lap cats who love being held and cuddled, as if they'd never known life outdoors. They turn just about anything into a toy, even the scale, which they attempt to squeeze into all at once.Whenever they curl up on their foster mom, they melt into contented puddles, purring themselves to sleep. Flower and BambiAlyssa @orlandofosterkittensWhile rescuers continue their efforts to ensure the feral mother is spayed and receives the care she needs, Bambi, Thumper, and Flower are living their best lives indoors."I can't wait to see their personalities continue to develop over the next several weeks." ThumperAlyssa @orlandofosterkittensShare this story with your friends.
