Brian Wilson’s Last Social Media Post Was Nostalgic Photo He Shared With His Brothers

Just a few days before he passed, Brian Wilson shared a photo from his childhood. It was a simple post about him and his brothers, back when life was just music and a shared bedroom. Now that he’s gone, that post feels heavier. Not in a loud or dramatic way. Like maybe, without saying too much, he was remembering where everything really started. His family announced his passing on June 11. He was 82. They didn’t say what caused his death, but they asked for privacy as they mourned him. Brian Wilson’s last post shared was a photo of him and his brothers             View this post on Instagram                         A post shared by Brian Wilson (@brianwilsonlive)   On June 3, Brian posted an old photo of himself with Carl and Dennis, his younger brothers. In the caption, he talked about how they used to sing together in their room. Three-part harmony, he said. He even named a song they used to sing, “Come down, come down / From your ivory tower.” He also mentioned “In My Room,” the song he taught them to sing. It was not just a song for them. It was their safe place, their sound, and what made them bond even more. That room shaped them and became the starting point for something the world would one day hear. It wasn’t about being stars yet. It was just three brothers singing because they loved it. Brian Wilson/Instagram They are all gone, but their voices continue to live Carl and Dennis had died years ago. Dennis drowned in 1983, and Carl passed in 1998 from lung cancer. And now, Brian is gone, too. Brian was the quiet one. Carl was calm and kind. Dennis was wild but full of heart. They were unique in their own ways, and together, they made something that stayed in the hearts of people. And their voices still live in the songs they released. It has the kind of harmony that doesn’t fade, one that lasts for a long time. You could hear the joy and the hope in them. Brian Wilson and his brothers, Carl Wilson and Dennis Wilson/X Brian’s family said, “We are heartbroken. We are at a loss for words.” He leaves behind seven children and passed just over a year after losing his wife, Melinda. It’s a lot of loss. And maybe his post was a sign that he was ready to see his brothers again. Tina Louse Spotted During Rare Outing At 91

Tina Louise, who played Ginger on Gilligan’s Island, was spotted out in New York City recently. At 91, she still carries that charm she’s always had. This time, she was dressed in jeans, a black jacket, dark sunglasses, and her signature red hair gently catching the light. It was rare to see her like that, but it brought back memories. Tina’s been mostly private in recent years, even keeping a distance from the show that made her a household name. But moments like this remind people she’s still here, aging gracefully, and full of her own stories beyond that one role. “I didn’t think the show would be a success,” Tina Louise said of ‘Gilligan’s Island’ .@people Magazine Surprised That Gilligan’s Island Star Tina Louise Takes Daily Walk in New York City at Age 91! She’s the last surviving member of the main cast.https://t.co/PLdbElvvJA pic.twitter.com/I3S5y8ONsf — Pete Salisbury @Tuckerpete (@Tuckerpete) June 11, 2025   When Tina was cast as Ginger in 1964, she was already doing Broadway. CBS reached out while she was in a musical with Carol Burnett, asking her to play a character in the style of Lucille Ball or Marilyn Monroe. She said yes, but things changed once filming started. The director had a different tone in mind—more sarcasm, less warmth, and Tina didn’t connect with that version of the role. She even asked to quit. Eventually, a new director stepped in, and the writing shifted to suit her better. The show became a hit. Tina enjoyed it more, but her connection to Gilligan’s Island was always mixed. She never returned for the spin-offs and has often avoided discussing it. Even in recent interviews, she said she’s grateful for her career, but would rather be known for other things. Tina Louise/Imagecollect There’s always been more to Tina Louise than acting After Gilligan’s Island, Tina kept working on and with films and TV shows. She starred in The Stepford Wives in 1975 and made appearances in shows like Dallas, Kojak, and The Love Boat. Her last film role was in Tapestry in 2019. Gilligan’s Island/X Outside of acting, she’s done meaningful work, like reading to school kids in New York City and joining a program to help students learn. She also wrote a memoir called Sunday in 1997, which came out again as an audiobook in 2023. She may be best known for Ginger, but Tina’s life has never been just one part. At 91, she’s still doing well. Liza Minnelli Pays Tribute To Famous Mom Judy Garland On What Would Have Been Her 103rd Birthday

Liza Minnelli misses her mother, Judy Garland, and it is evident. On June 10, the American singer and actress shared a message to honor her late mother, Judy Garland, on what would have been Garland’s 103rd birthday. Minnelli wrote a personal note that moved fans and family alike alongside a black-and-white throwback photo of herself with Garland. Judy Garland’s career began in vaudeville, and she rose to fame with The Wizard of Oz in 1939. Despite her stardom, Garland lived a tough life, with health struggles, addiction, and the pressures of early fame. She married director Vincente Minnelli in 1945 during the making of Meet Me in St. Louis. Together, they welcomed their daughter, Liza, in 1946. But the marriage ended in divorce in 1951. Judy Garland would have been 103 years old             View this post on Instagram                         A post shared by Liza Minnelli (@officiallizaminnelli)   Liza Minnelli is remembering her mother on her birthday, five decades after she passed away. “Happy Birthday Mama!” Minnelli wrote, recalling one of Garland’s favorite songs, ‘Through the Years,’ where she sang, ‘I’ll come to you smiling through the years.’ She noted that, though absent, Garland has kept her promise to keep smiling over the family, Joey, Lorna, and her, through the years. Fans could not keep their admiration and tributes to themselves either. The post struck a chord across generations, and comments poured in from those who remembered Garland for her talent and the emotional connection she created with fans. “Your mama means so much to our world,” one user wrote. “She was a saving grace.” Others recalled how her music and movies offered comfort in their childhoods. Judy Garland, Judy Garland’s daughter, Liza Minnelli/Everett collection/Imagecollect Personal life A significant part of Judy Garland’s life started when she married producer Sid Luft in 1952. They had two children: Lorna, born in 1952, and Joey, born in 1955. Luft played a crucial role in reviving Garland’s career with her return in A Star Is Born (1954). The movie earned Garland her second Oscar nomination, but their marriage eventually ended. Judy Garland and his husband, Sid Luft, with their children, Liza, Lorna, and Joey/Instagram Judy Garland later married Mark Herron, and finally, Mickey Deans, a musician who became her fifth husband in 1969. Just three months later, Deans discovered Garland had died of a barbiturate overdose in their London home at age 47.
