Two Point Hospital has a major rival as new management sim hits Steam

Two Point Hospital was just about everything I wanted from a revival of the classic Bullfrog days of Theme Park and Theme Hospital. Developer Brightrock Games has the answer, taking the hospital sim into space with new management game Galacticare, which has just launched on Steam. Best action games on PC 2024

What are the best action games? To stand out from the rest, the best action games offer deep mechanics that take minutes to learn but hundreds of hours to truly master. Some offer a few combat buttons to fend off attackers, while others have intricate combos you'd typically find in fighting games, and luckily, they give you plenty of targets to practice on. If you're up for something a little more substantial, taking many hours to complete, we have a separate list of the best action-adventure games to whet your appetite. Alternatively, there are FPS games with action game mechanics, such as Doom Eternal where you can blow up hordes of demonic enemies in front of your very eyes. Modern RPG games like Final Fantasy 7 Remake also opt for a more action-filled real-time combat system. 43 years later, one of the most influential RPGs ever has full remake

What are the most influential games of all time? Doom. XCOM. Half-Life. Civilization. Baldur’s Gate. The list goes on, but without some of these legendary masterworks, the entire world of gaming today would look very different. Originally released all the way back in 1981, one legendary RPG created the template for almost everything that followed, including Final Fantasy, Mass Effect, and Darkest Dungeon. Now, it’s been completely remade from top to bottom, and you can play the entire thing today. Apple finally explained the controversial iPhone bug that made deleted photos reappear

Some iPhone owners discovered a very weird and disturbing bug a few days ago. Somehow, old, long-deleted iPhone photos that should have been permanently purged resurfaced on devices running iOS 17.5. This prompted speculation about what might have caused the bug, as this was a very serious problem. Imagine sensitive content you thought you had deleted years ago resurfacing unexpectedly. Apple fixed the deleted photos bug with the iOS 17.5.1 update a few days ago without immediately explaining in detail what caused the issue. Thankfully, we have an answer, and it looks like the matter isn't as serious as it could have been. This isn't some sort of iCloud bug that could impact other data. It's rather a rare occurrence that has to do with corrupted files on the iPhones themselves. Continue reading...
