‘Walz Of Shame’: Ben Shapiro Exposes Kamala’s VP Pick In Latest Episode Of ‘Scamala’ Series

Daily Wire Editor Emeritus Ben Shapiro has dropped the fourth episode in his new series, “Scamala: Kamala Harris Unmasked,” which examines Vice President Kamala Harris’s radicalism since her start in California politics.  In “Walz of Shame,” which is available to stream here, Shapiro shifts focus to Harris’s first major decision as the Democrats’ effective nominee: her choice of a running mate, far-Left Gov. Tim Walz (D) of Minnesota. During the episode, Shapiro methodically dismantles the Harris campaign’s framing of Walz as an all-American dad with roots in the heartland. Instead, the host exposes Walz as a “wild progressive, a radical, and a liar” while exploring Walz’s ties to China, his military embellishment, the governor’s past DUI and bizarre cover-up, and his radical racial and gender policies.  “Walz has been presented by the Harris campaign as America’s dad, emphasizing his family-oriented image and Midwestern roots,” Shapiro says in “Scamala,” episode 4. “This portrayal is attempting to serve as a strategic foil to distract from Walz’s wild left-wing stances. The campaign highlights his wholesome family life, posting about his kids’ achievements and family activities to try and create a sense of authenticity and readability.” But this is a “false flag,” Shapiro says. “It is not true.”  “[Walz], as he has stated publicly and repeatedly, is a wild progressive, a radical and a liar,” Shapiro continues. Meanwhile, his “personal background is leveraged to enhance his moderate image. Raised in a small town in Nebraska, his experiences as a high school teacher, football coach, and Army National Guard member paint a picture of somebody deeply connected to traditional American values.” “It is all political sleight of hand,” Shapiro explains. “It’s bad political sleight of hand at that.” “Arrested for DUI while teacher and assistant coach, abandoning his unit in the guard: none of the ‘dad persona’ really sticks when revealed,” the conservative says. “In examining Walz’s career, it becomes painfully clear his journey from a high school teacher to state governor has been marred by a series of missteps, failures, and a turn toward the radical Left.” To watch the latest episode, become a member here.

Toddler Has Sweetest Reaction To Grandpa’s Visits Every Week

Moving from New York City to North Carolina is like moving to a completely different planet. Shelby, her husband, and their toddler Brooks made that move. She has chronicled the family’s adventure on social media and her blog at Pretty in the Pines. Shelby concentrates on the house, writing about interior design choices, patterns, and favorite products, but there is a better reason for the move. She encapsulated that in one compilation video of what her toddler does every Thursday when Grandpa comes to visit. @prettyinthepines forever my favorite part about our move treasuring these days. ♬ Starting Over – Chris Stapleton The family made the move and lifestyle change to be closer to family. The new house allows Shelby’s dad to watch Brooks frequently. The toddler has formed a special bond with his Grandpa, which is evident whenever he visits. Brooks calls his Grandpa “Bops,” and every Thursday is “Bop Day.” When Grandpa arrives, the happy toddler runs, bounces, and jumps to the front door, greeting him with a loud and unfiltered “Hi, Bop!” The special day has become a time-honored tradition, and Shelby is busy storing these wonderful memories. Brooks is full of bouncy toddler love whenever Grandpa arrives. Image from TikTok. Shelby rejoices over the small things like having a laundry room and a large yard for the dog. However, the proximity to family is one of the most celebrated advantages of the move. Image from TikTok. Not only does toddler Brooks get Grandpa time, but the entire family has a more relaxed lifestyle. Shelby has completely renovated the house. You can follow her journey on Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube. Her blog discusses her furniture and style choices, including her favorite product choices. My grandmother had the same buffet Shelby selected for her foyer, which stirred up some fond memories for me. You can find the source of this story’s featured image here. EU Accuses Breton of Going Rogue With Overreaching Censorship Threats

EU Accuses Breton of Going Rogue With Overreaching Censorship Threats

If you're tired of censorship and dystopian threats against civil liberties, subscribe to Reclaim The Net. Brussels has criticized Internal Market Commissioner Thierry Breton for going rogue in his threats against Elon Musk, independently sending a contentious censorship threat letter to Elon Musk, owner of the social media platform X. The letter threatened consequences if the platform allowed content that could “seriously harm” EU citizens. This correspondence, unveiled just hours before Musk was scheduled to host a significant interview with US presidential candidate Donald Trump on the same platform, was reportedly dispatched without the endorsement of European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen or other commissioners. The Commission stated that both “the timing and the wording of the letter were neither coordinated or agreed with the president nor with the [commissioners].” Breton, acting without consultation, seems to embody the lone wolf approach within the pro-censorship EU framework, often adopting his own threatening distinctive strategies. As one EU official who preferred anonymity to the Financial Times expressed, “Thierry has his own mind and way of working and thinking.” This incident underscores the tension between regulatory enforcement and the autonomy of individual commissioners within the EU. The Commission is actively examining the role of X, previously known as Twitter, under the stringent parameters of the 2022 censorship law, the Digital Services Act. This act was specifically designed to curb speech on vast social media networks. The ongoing probe focuses on the propagation of illegal content and the manipulation of information on the platform, with the Commission noting, “The [investigation] on dissemination of illegal content and information manipulation is ongoing, we are looking into it, and of course, everything that happens on the platform feeds into this assessment.” Breton’s decision to issue the letter, which coincided with Musk’s interview with Trump, was described by aides as a calculated “trigger point.” As the designated overseer of the Digital Services Act’s enforcement, Breton felt compelled to remind Musk of this looming threat. He stressed the importance of such measures against “recent examples of public unrest brought about by the amplification of content that promotes hatred, disorder, incitement to violence, or certain instances of disinformation.” If you're tired of censorship and dystopian threats against civil liberties, subscribe to Reclaim The Net. Lightning Strikes Two People At Horseshoe Bend In Arizona

On Monday (August 12), two people were struck by lightning in Glen Canyon National Recreation Area, Arizona. In a statement released on Tuesday, the National Park Service (NPS) revealed that two female visitors, aged 22 and 23 and hailing from the Netherlands and Australia, had “sustained injuries” while standing near the rim of Horseshoe Bend. Both were flown to St. George Regional Hospital in Utah by Classic Air Medical helicopters, however, no update on their condition has been provided. The incident happened just before 4 pm during a severe storm, reports the Page Police Department. The area was temporarily evacuated so that two helicopters could land, and the victims were treated at the scene before being airlifted to hospital.Lightning strikes the United States about 25 million times a year, killing around 20 people and severely injuring hundreds more. With a peak temperature of 27,760°C (50,000°F) – that’s nearly five times hotter than the surface of the Sun – it is hardly surprising that lightning can cause so much damage to the human body. It is therefore imperative to take precautions when out and about during a storm. In Glen Canyon National Recreation Area, which straddles Arizona and Utah, the NPS warns that thunderstorms “are most frequent and severe during the monsoon season, which is typically mid-June through September in Arizona and July through September in Utah”.As such, “visitors are advised to use caution while visiting exposed outdoor areas and be aware of changing weather conditions.”“If you hear thunder, you are at risk of getting struck by lightning and should immediately seek shelter in a vehicle or building.”
