Masonic Gathering Place: Archaeologists Unearth Ancient Tunnels

In Warsaw, archaeologists have excavated an ancient tunnel in which, according to historical records, meetings of Freemasons took place. While exploring the site, scientists discovered artifacts dating back to the 17th century. Recent excavations in Warsaw’s Guqing Gai Park have uncovered part of a tunnel system. This park is located on the territory of the historical Wilanów estate, which was once the residence of a branch of the Wilanów Palace, writes Heritage Daily. Located near St. Catherine’s Church in the northwest corner of the park, the tunnel is U-shaped and extends approximately 65 meters. It is lined with symmetrical niches, some of which contain three rows of niches, giving them the appearance of a catacomb. At the beginning of the 19th century, Stanisław Kostka Potocki, a Polish nobleman and minister, acquired the tunnel and the surrounding area. Potocki, who held the title of Grand Master of the Grand National East of Poland, was associated with rumors that the tunnel served as a secret meeting place for Masonic ceremonies and rituals. Despite the lack of evidence or written records to substantiate these rumors, official monument registers still refer to the site as a “Masonic Graves”. The Institute of Archeology at Cardinal Stefan Wyszynski University, together with the Office of the Warsaw Monument Conservator, carried out excavations in an area measuring 5×5 meters, covering the entrance to the tunnel and part of the internal corridor. They removed the accumulated layers to reveal 19th-century walls marking the entrance from the Potocki era, as well as older brick walls dating back to the 17th century. Among the finds are coins from the 17th century and several medieval objects. The 17th-century architectural elements are likely the remains of a cistern or glacier that was used to collect and store water to supply Wilanów Palace, located a few kilometers from the tunnel. This theory is supported by the records of Augustin Loci (1640-1732), the court architect of John III Sobieski, who documented the construction of a glacier and water intake on the northern slope of the Góra Służewska ledge in Gucin Gaj. Washington Post Ads on Twitter Tout Stories That Promote Kamala, Attack Trump-Vance

The Washington Post seems to be conducting a Democrat-boosting ad campaign on Twitter, promoting their biased journalism. The latest one was boosting their "Fact Checker" Glenn Kessler attacking "a trio of silly, false claims" by J.D. Vance against Kamala Harris for being a leftist radical. (Posties must fight back on this dastardly Republican message.) The @washingtonpost is running a fact check for Kamala Harris as an ad on X. How is this not an in-kind contribution to her campaign? pic.twitter.com/aPDA3pC742 — Michael Duncan (@MichaelDuncan) August 14, 2024 Herr Kessler's subhead was "No, she doesn’t want to ban red meat or gas stoves or believe that people shouldn’t have children because of climate change." Mister Glenn was so energetically "fact checking" that he claimed "The Biden administration never had a policy on gas stoves." Kessler was False! As Fox News reported, Biden admin backs off gas stove crackdown after widespread pushback. In other words, Kessler is attacking what he sees as overly harsh campaign rhetoric with some blatantly incorrect rebuttals.  Vance said Harris "even wants to take away your ability to eat red meat." Kessler ruled that was false: "Harris gave a long answer but, in essence, she said she would support a change in the guidelines, as there had to be incentives to encourage less consumption of meat — even though she loved a cheeseburger from time to time."  In other words, Harris wouldn't say No to a leftist questioner, she was slippery and signaled support that the government really should establish dietary guidelines, but did not commit to a meat ban. Kamala Harris is literally on video talking about backing a ban on red meat consumption: KAMALA HARRIS: The balance that we have to strike here, frankly, is about what government can and should do around creating incentives and then banning certain behaviors. I mean just to be… pic.twitter.com/8LW4T2uqJW — Steve Guest (@SteveGuest) August 14, 2024 As we know, "fact checking" -- especially with hot headlines about "silly false claims" -- can look like Democrat messaging, as a presumable authoritative takedown of claims Harris is radical. Now let's go back to the Post trend of using Twitter Ads to conduct a pro-Harris campaign:  Yep. I get pro-Kamala ads from them every single day https://t.co/acvb6JGHWS — Ryan (@alwaysonoffense) August 11, 2024 And: Is the Washington Post playing 6D chess? They're paying to run ads explaining how Democrats can pick a new nominee (presumably not Kamala) in their primary. The DNC has designed the updated rules to prevent that possibility. What is going on? Did someone forget to tell WaPo? pic.twitter.com/yop1W0pbbf — @amuse (@amuse) July 30, 2024 And:  Is it weird that this WaPo exclusive is actually an ad? I must be out of the loop if this is typical of how a news outlet tells the news. Ads aren’t known for telling the truth, right? Besides, I think the Egypt $10 million was actually another Steele Dossier hoax. pic.twitter.com/wM7CwhHQFb — ConRocke99 (@Nohomie12CR) August 10, 2024 And:  Is the @washingtonpost going to register with the FEC to run ads like this? What is this ridiculous promotion of Biden’s desperate and stupid court-packing plan? You can’t even argue this is good for WaPo business because a boring op-ed isn’t driving new subscribers. pic.twitter.com/8L9t2x90Jc — Matt Whitlock (@mattdizwhitlock) August 9, 2024 Last November, the Post announced it would suspend advertising on X over some Elon Musk conspiracy comments. Clearly, the suspension is over! Just in time for a presidential campaign...

Solving the Mystery of Pterosaur Flight: Four-Limb Launch Confirmed

Researchers found that pterosaurs used all four limbs to take off, similar to bats, shedding new light on the flight mechanisms of these large prehistoric animals. Researchers have discovered that pterosaurs likely used all four limbs to launch themselves into the air, similar to how bats do today. This study, published in PeerJ, offers fresh [...]
