Sen. Josh Hawley (R-MO) said during an interview this week that a female Secret Service agent who was put in charge of former President Donald Trump’s protective detail during his trip to Butler, Pennsylvania, in July, when a would-be assassin tried to kill him, had failed key training exams when she joined the agency. Hawley also said that the Biden-Harris DHS was pressuring the Secret Service to not comply with the investigation, which he called “outrageous.” Even Sen. Richard Blumenthal (D-CT) said this week that DHS was not complying. “The whole thing, she was in charge of the whole works, from the time the president landed to the time he went to Butler, it’s just totally inexplicable,” Hawley said. “One other thing, I’m told by people who are close to and have knowledge of the Secret Service’s own internal investigation that the Department of Homeland Security is leaning on the Secret Service not to comply with document requests to Congress.” Hawley made the remarks during a Fox News interview Thursday evening as Congress continues to investigate how the Secret Service and Department of Homeland Security failed to protect the president that day. “What I’m learning now is that the lead advance agent that day in Pennsylvania — this is the agent that was in charge of Trump’s entire trip in Pennsylvania — that this agent actually failed one or more of her training exams when she first joined the Secret Service,” Hawley said. “The pattern that is emerging here from whistleblowers who come forward to me now over and over again is that the Trump rally was undermanned, it was understaffed, they did not have people who had experience on it.” Hawley said that the advance agent failed “one or more of her training exams and was known not to be a top-quality agent.” He questioned why she was ever put in charge of managing the entire trip given her reputation of being an incompetent agent. After all, they are openly “committed to systemic change.” P&G has a whole page boasting about how they “aspire to create a company and a world where equality and inclusion are achievable for all” by pushing these initiatives to employees, brand partners, and communities.  Shelly McNamara, Chief Equality and Inclusion Officer for the company, says we need to “embed and normalize the work of equality and inclusion.”  “We have to stop making diversity, equality, inclusion a thing that is sitting beside us,” she urged in one video shared on YouTube. “It’s not a separate thing. It’s not a thing. It’s a core part for us of our strategy for how we attract talent.” Speaking of attracting talent, P&G brags about having 42% of their executive leadership team and 52% of management recruits being women. (One small question for them: What is a woman?) The brand also touts LGBTQ+ inclusion by featuring “coming out stories” from their employees. This includes the origin story of “GABLE,” the Gay, Ally, Bisexual, Lesbian, and Transgender Employee organization at the company.  If companies spent half as much time on product development and consumer research as they did on diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) initiatives, they’d be exponentially more successful. The light-hearted video, dubbed “The MAGA People,” is styled as an old fashioned documentary and features a British narrator who sounds like he is working on a nature documentary. “Across the Atlantic, in the North American country of the United States lays a fascinating and often misunderstood collective,” the narrator begins. “From its Northeastern cities to its Midwestern towns to its expansive West, this courageous group of individuals are most notably known for their unwavering patriotism. Join us as we explore the fascinating world of the MAGA People.” “As we embarked on our journey, we were judicious in taking all necessary precautions,” the video continues. “Our media had warned us that these were a vicious, radical, and even deplorable people.” Am I Racist? A California movie theater dropped showings of Daily Wire host Matt Walsh’s new film ‘Am I Racist?’ after it said a “strong reaction” from the community prompted “safety” concerns.  The Del Oro Theatre in Grass Valley announced on Thursday that it would be canceling showings of Am I Racist?, which opened on Friday in over 1,500 theaters across the country, after community backlash.  “Due to the strong reactions from our community (for and against the film), and concerns for the well-being of our staff, we will not be playing the film ‘Am I Racist?’ as originally intended,” the theater posted on Instagram.    View this post on Instagram   A post shared by Del Oro Theatre (@delorotheatre) The cancellation of the showings prompted immediate backlash online from conservatives who said the theater had caved to leftist pressure.  Am I Racist? This theater just issued an apology,” he posted. “The only way to stop the Left from shutting down the film is to support the theaters that are showing it. Tickets here: http://AmIRacist.com.” Conservative account Libs of TikTok weighed in on the cancellation as well, criticizing the theater for caving to pressure.  “A theater in California canceled their showing of ‘Am I Racist?’ after leftwing activists bullied them. They caved to the pressure and are now claiming the movie causes ‘division’ and can harm their staff. Cowards!” she said.  The theater said it was not its intention to “cause such division” by playing the film and was just trying to follow the lead of other theaters. “Please know that it was not our intention to cause such division by playing this film,” it added. “We noticed that many of the theaters in the Sacramento area were booked to play this film and quite frankly the reaction caught us off guard. The safety of our staff is our number one priority.”
