Capitalism Selling Anti-Capitalism — Only at Target

Target is usually a bellwether for whatever socially destructive fad the cultural anarchists want you to buy into next. Think: baby onesies glorifying “wino mommies,” toddler clothes pushing trans ideology, and now—Das Kapital. Karl Marx’s original manual for anti-capitalism is being featured in Target’s fall ads in English translation. That’s kind of funny right? One of the world’s most recognizable capitalism brands—selling Das Kapital. Shall we hazard a guess as to why? Because the more people equate government control with compassion, the easier it becomes to sell tyranny as kindness. The goal isn’t to educate; it’s to indoctrinate, one trendy bookshelf at a time. No one’s arguing that Marxist texts should be banned. But let’s be honest: Target isn’t selling these books with an aim to give its clientele a balanced view of economics. If they were, they would put the Collected Works of Thomas Sowell front and center but of course they won’t. The post Capitalism Selling Anti-Capitalism — Only at Target appeared first on Redacted.

Suicide in Your Blood: The Rise of Predictive Psychiatry

Researchers say that they can predict someone’s potential for suicide with a blood test. In a recent study, scientists say that they were able to identify genes that “successfully predicted” if a person with bipolar disorder would take their own life. Before you panic, they did not run blood tests and then wait to see who killed themselves. Researchers used archival biological samples from people who already had bipolar disorder, some of whom had died by suicide in the past. Still, there is good reason to panic. Can you imagine a world where a blood test brands you as a danger to yourself? Who gets access to that data? A mortgage lender? A potential spouse? Oh, you’ve got the suicide marker Mr. Johnson. Straight to the asylum with you! What else could this be used for? The post Suicide in Your Blood: The Rise of Predictive Psychiatry appeared first on Redacted.

The Hague Weighs In On Israel’s War Crimes While the US Ignores Them

Why is President Trump still threatening Hamas with war while touting the merits of his peace deal? Why didn’t he threaten Israel when they violated the ceasefire and killed at least 80 people since Friday? The New York Times reports that senior Trump officials are “increasingly concerned” that Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu will “dismantle” the peace deal and yet there is no strong talk like this from the White House. Vice President J.D. Vance will be in Israel this week, presumably to keep the peace deal in place. Meanwhile, the International Court of Justice (ICJ) will deliver its opinion on Israel’s actions in the occupied Palestinian territory on Wednesday. The ruling is expected to address whether Israel’s conduct, including its blockade, settlement expansion, and recent military actions, violates international law. Israel will undoubtedly condemn it as antisemitism and say that only Hamas should be condemned. But should Israel get away with systematically dismantling civilian infrastructure and food sources? Shooting children in the head and chest? Soldiers who practice what is called “patterns of aim”? Doctors who worked in Gaza report that they began to recognize days where most incoming children had the same type of wound — first to the limbs, later to the torso or head — as if someone was “training” or “testing accuracy.” U.S. leaders will pretend that they don’t know that while the Vice President visits Israel this week. Putin Grows Impatient as U.S.–Russia Talks Falter

Russian President Vladimir Putin’s patience appears to be wearing thin, according to several analysts. Some suggest he may soon abandon the diplomatic charade with Washington altogether and move to decisively end the war on his own terms. Former President Trump had announced plans to meet with Putin in Hungary, but the White House now says the meeting has been called off, citing a “productive call” between Secretary Rubio and Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov. Other reports indicate that Moscow rejected U.S. terms for a ceasefire. Still, it’s difficult to parse the truth amid dueling narratives — the Kremlin has accused Western media of trying to sabotage the talks before they begin. “Media is twisting comments about the ‘immediate future’ to undercut the upcoming summit. Preparations continue,” said Russian presidential adviser Kirill Dmitriev. President Trump said he doesn’t “want to have a wasted meeting… so I’ll see what happens.” Meanwhile, Ukrainians keep dying at alarming rates. Russian state media reports that “the Ukrainian army lost roughly 1,460 troops in battles with Russian forces in all the frontline areas over the past 24 hours.” The post Putin Grows Impatient as U.S.–Russia Talks Falter appeared first on Redacted.

“I Don’t Need A Full Moon” – Koe Wetzel Sends Fans Into A Frenzy With New Duck Hunting Teaser

It appears new Koe Wetzel music is loading… Koe Wetzel is seemingly keeping the hot streak going after the release of his last single, “Surrounded.” Coming off the heels of his commercially successful record 9 Lives, which scored Wetzel his first number one country radio hit, “High Road,” Wetzel kept the roll going with “Surrounded.” Since its release, fans have been in love with the gritty single, trying to move on from a former lover, but feeling surrounded by their memory. Wetzel was teasing “Surrounded” long before it was gifted to fans, leading us to ask him during a Whiskey Riff Raff conversation if he knew that would be the first single in this next era of music. “I think that’s what we are going to do for the first single. We just finished up the last mix of it, so it’s off at mastering right now. So we are getting pretty close with it. I’m excited about that song.  We’ve got 3 or 4 other ones that we’ve kind of debated on throwing out first, but ‘Surrounded’ just feels really good for us right now. Especially coming off ‘9 Lives,’ we didn’t want to get too crazy with something different. We kind of wanted to give the listeners a familiar sound that they’re familiar with. So, ‘Surrounded’ felt that way.” @whiskeyriff Wanted something that built off ‘9 Lives.’ // Listen to the Whiskey Riff Raff episode with @Koe Wetzel available on Spotify, Apple, and YouTube. #whiskeyriff #koewetzel #newmusic #whiskeyriffraff ♬ original sound – Whiskey Riff Fans have been loving “Surrounded,” and it appears Wetzel is keeping that gritty, haunting feeling in whatever song he releases next. Recently, Wetzel teased the intro of a new song on his social media pages, and fans are foaming at the mouth for it to be released sooner rather than later. In the visual preview of the tune, Wetzel is wading through water while duck hunting, as he walks by his decoys, when gunshots fire off in the distance before a heavy rock-and-roll drumbeat comes in. Wetzel captioned the post: “I don’t need a full moon…” View this post on Instagram A post shared by Koe Wetzel Music (@koewetzelmusic) I’m not sure what Wetzel is cooking up with this teaser, but I can tell it’s going to be good. I hope we get this sooner rather than later. Check out the comments on the post; fans are fired up to hear what’s in store. “Here we go.” “Dammit, I love it already.” “If the good Lord wants to give me another drinking song, then by God it shall be done.” “The drop we are all waiting for!!” “Gonna be fire!!!” “I need some Koe Wetzel duckin’ music.” “Hell of a start!!” “Lfg!!” “Hell f***** yeah!!!” Bring it on, Koe, bring it on. Koe Wetzel Confirms He’s Recorded A Ton Of New Music At the start of 2025, Koe Wetzel sat down with Katie Neal for a mini-episode of Katie & Company, disclosing that he had been in Nashville working on a new record. Neal asked Wetzel what the next chapter looks like. Koe noted that he’s going to build off the sound established on his last studio record, 9 Lives. “Just kind of growing off of ‘9 Lives.’ You know, I think the music that I’ve made for so long has just kind of instilled into me and just kind of soldered into me, and with this new music out, with the new record, I just kind of wanted to get a little bit more of that rock ‘n’ roll side. Back to that Texas rock ‘n’ roll. Working with Gabe Simon again, so it’s fun. You know, every time we go into the studio, it’s different. Every day is different. It’s just kind of go in there blind, having a little bit of an idea of what you’re going to write, but not having a whole outlook on it. And kind of stepping back after the day of work and go like, ‘Holy sh*t that’s, you know, that’s pretty cool actually.’ And that’s bringing a lot more joy back to songwriting and being in the studio because we’re going straight from writing to recording right then. I feel like that’s how it should be, and we are having a lot of fun with it. So… I don’t know, we’ll see how it all comes out.” Flash forward to this fall, and Wetzel shared some more information about the new record in a brief interview with Road Dog Texas before his recent show at EECU Center in Stephenville, Texas. According to Wetzel, he’s been busy in the studio lately and has recorded not one but TWO records over the past year. Though there’s no scheduled release date, he promised that new music is coming soon. “We’ve got some new music coming. I don’t know exactly when the release date’s gonna be, but a lot of new music. I think we’re sitting on like two records now. We’re excited about all new music and finishing up the tour and hunting season.” The Texas native would also note that the album(s) are still in the early stages without a working title. Additionally, he declined to comment about any potential collaborations on the album, saying he can’t release that much information. Given it’s fall, we might not get a full LP until 2026, but based on this teaser, Wetzel hopefully has a single or two in store for us before the year ends.
