Once they bring in the hay, the dog can run alongside the car. When Otis isn’t running, he is a love sponge. While Leah’s grandmother was alive, Otis visited as often as possible. He lay gently beside her, sharing daily naps, and just “being.” During her waning time, Otis provided a sense of calm and comfort.
