Kacey Musgraves Is In A “Dry Spell” & Fans Are Losing It Over Cheeky New Teaser

The next era of Kacey Musgraves is here. She has been teasing a new era of music over the last week or so, which is seemingly focused on her self-proclaimed “Dry Spell,” and it seems likely that she has a new single dropping very soon, along with a new album, potentially, too. In addition to putting up Billboards that read: “Dry spell? Call for a real good time.” She has also been teasing a new song since last week, which is all about her guest to answer her own, viral question: “Is it possible to die of horniness?” Is it possible to die of horniness? Asking for a friend. — K A C E Y (@KaceyMusgraves) April 14, 2025 The first set of lyrics she shared go like this: “It’s been a real long 335 days, And the last time, it wasn’t good anyway, I’m so lonely, Lonely with a capital ‘H,’ If you know what I mean…” And today, she shared the teaser of the song on Instagram, along with a clip of her strutting her stuff which is very much zoomed in on her backside and incredible sparkly silver pants, that find her admitting there’s been no “boots under my bed” and “nobody’s tool up in my shed”: “Ain’t nobody’s tool up in my shed Ain’t nobody’s boots under my bed Ain’t nobody’s truck in my drive For a late night call for a real good time…” You really don’t even have to read between the lines to figure out what she’s saying here… what a way to kick off a new album rollout. She captioned the video with a simple: “You up?” You have my attention, Kacey… Of course, fans in the comments were freaking over the video of her butt, as well as the whole concept that new music is coming soon, and Lainey Wilson even seems excited for this new chapter of Kacey music, leaving the following comment along with a “peach” emoji: “Lawd help us.” Coming from Lainey, that means a lot… Kelsea Ballerini left this one: “I’m indeed awake.” The rest of the comments followed suit: “Yes Kacey, I am up.” “This deepened my well.” “I AM NOW GIRL OMG.” “Wide awake.” “Once again my man liked this I’m not even mad.” “Everyone say ‘Thank you Ms. Musgraves.” “Oh we’re so back.” “Never wanted to be a pair of pants more in my life.” “I didn’t realize instagram lets you upload videos that are infinity hours long.” There’s also promise that she and Miranda Lambert might have a duet coming which is beyond my wildest dreams, honestly. Stay tuned… it sounds like an official announcement is coming this Wednesday, and I think KM6 is on the horizon. The post Kacey Musgraves Is In A “Dry Spell” & Fans Are Losing It Over Cheeky New Teaser first appeared on Whiskey Riff.

Crude Oil Prices Top $100 a Barrel

Crude Oil Prices Top $100 a Barrel

Oil prices skyrocketed to nearly $120 a barrel early Monday morning before falling to just over $100, as the ongoing war in Iran pressures global energy markets. West Texas Intermediate, the benchmark for most U.S. oil, topped out at $119.48 until reports surfaced that members of the G7 may soon be opening their strategic oil reserves to relieve prices. Much of the price spike is caused by the war disrupting tanker traffic through the Strait of Hormuz. About 15 million barrels of crude, roughly one-fifth of global oil supply, normally pass through the strait each day, but Iranian attack threats have nearly halted tanker traffic from major Gulf producers.  As exports slow, Iraq, Kuwait, and the UAE have cut production, while attacks on oil and gas facilities in countries across the Middle East have heightened fears of tighter supplies and rising energy costs. The price surge is hitting fuel-dependent Asian economies especially hard, and any disruption to Iran’s roughly 1.6 million barrels a day of exports to China could push prices even higher. American consumers are paying the price at the pump, with the average price of gas up almost 50 cents a gallon from last week, with the potential for higher prices to come.
