The infamous Titanic sinking was caused by an iceberg obstructing the ship’s way on April 14‚ 1912. More than a century after the tragic incident‚ a resurfaced photo that allegedly captures a third of the frozen chunk is reportedly up for auction. The couple have run their collection for over three decades‚ having much of Detroit’s history in their possession. Artists like Questlove‚ Eminem‚ Kanye West‚ Common‚ and even the late Aretha Franklin and J Dilla have stopped by their shop on 9 Mile and Gratiot to have a fill of their keepsakes‚ and even left signatures on the memorabilia-decorated wall.
