Acosta Shames Netanyahu For Calling Protestors 'Iran's Useful Idiots'

CNN Newsroom host Jim Acosta tried to shame Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu on Thursday for labeling the protestors that hate his country “Iran’s useful idiots” because, apparently, Acosta doesn’t understand the difference between free speech and being free from criticism. Additionally, it took his Democratic guest to inform viewers that some of the demonstrators took to burning the American flag outside of Union Station in Washington. Speaking with Senate Foreign Relations Committee chairman Ben Cardin, Acosta asked, “What is your response to the prime minister referring to protesters who have been demonstrating against the war in Gaza as quote, ‘Iran’s useful idiots’ is that kind of language, the kind of language that a head of state should be using in an address to Congress talking about Americans in that fashion, I mean people have the right to free speech, should he be describing critics of the war as Iran's useful idiots, especially in the middle of the campaign?”     It is a testament to Acosta’s skill that he was able to fit so much nonsense and hypocrisy into so few words. First, it is the Biden Administration that has said that Iran is funding the protestors. Second, Acosta is deeply offended by “Iran’s useful idiots” despite the media spending the last several years labeling Republicans as Russia’s useful idiots. Third, Netanyahu is not a head of state, he is the head of government. Fourth, Acosta is desperately trying to paint the protestors as anti-war and not anti-Semites, but all the eliminationism rhetoric and pro-Hamas cosplaying discredit that notion.   When the protestors in question are waving the Hamas and Isis flags I think it’s permissible to criticize.. https://t.co/Te6odXXtph pic.twitter.com/Z31cBiECMq — yael??️ (@birdhonks) July 24, 2024   Fifth and finally, Acosta is trying to accuse Netanyahu of interfering in American domestic politics after years of Democrats and their American media allies interfering in Israeli politics, from Netanyahu’s court reforms to whether he should call early elections during the war. Cardin was Acosta’s second Democrat interview on the topic of Netanyahu’s speech. He earlier spoke with California Rep. Jimmy Gomez who, ironically, was on to hype his demand that Netanyahu resign. It wasn’t until Cardin tried to have it both ways that Acosta’s audience learned that several of the “critics of the war” are not good people: Yeah, quite frankly, I believe strongly in the right of those who disagree with our views to be able to peacefully protest. They have to respect the rights of others. What we saw yesterday at the train station was irresponsible, horrible, and wrong, and needs it'd be condemned. The burning of the American flag, things like that have no place in a peaceful demonstration. But I think characterizing all protesters as pawns of Iran is just wrong and, but I do recognize that some of these protesters have gone overboard and need to be contained.   “Hamas is coming” Union Station July 24, 2024 - Washington D.C. pic.twitter.com/jHtgk9VhZQ — Katie Pavlich (@KatiePavlich) July 24, 2024   The leader of the Jewish state has the right to be appalled by such violence and rhetoric, and it should not take a wishy-washy Democratic senator to inform CNN’s audience that it happened. Here is a transcript for the July 25 show: CNN Newsroom with Jim Acosta 7/24/2024 10:26 PM ET JIM ACOSTA: And what is your response to the prime minister referring to protesters who have been demonstrating against the war in Gaza as quote, “Iran’s useful idiots” is that kind of language, the kind of language that a head of state should be using in an address to Congress talking about Americans in that fashion, I mean people have the right to free speech, should he be describing critics of the war as Iran's useful idiots, especially in the middle of the campaign? Pro-Hamas protesters burn flags on Capitol Hill during Netanyahu speech, while some Congress members wore Palestinian activist merch

On Monday, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu arrived in Washington, D.C., to deliver a speech regarding strategies to address the mounting threat of Iran. It is the first time since the October 7 attacks he has addressed Congress. Unfortunately, his welcome was less than warm. Not only did Vice President Kamala Harris, former House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.), as well as a number of Democratic lawmakers miss Netanyahu’s speech, but “chaos” ensued on Capitol Hill as thousands of pro-Hamas protesters gathered to wreak havoc. Julio Rosas, Blaze Media’s national correspondent, who was in D.C. to witness the bedlam, joins Jill Savage and the “Blaze News Tonight” panel to relay what he saw. 'Hamas Is Coming': CHAOS at the Capitol Erupts During Netanyahu Speech | 7/24/2024 www.youtube.com “Initially the protesters that were against Netanyahu speaking to Congress today tried to get close to the Capitol building, [but] police blocked their path because they didn't want them to get close. That resulted in clashes; police had to use pepper spray. Eventually, the crowd started to move on,” says Rosas, adding that the mob “marched around in the Capitol Hill neighborhood before coming to Union Station.” “U.S. Park police moved in to stop protesters from tearing down the American flags that are normally placed in Columbus Circle. There was more fighting; more arrests were made. The Park police withdrew after they secured the American flag and the arrestees, but as they were withdrawing, people were chasing them; they were heckling them.” Then “the protesters tore down the remaining American flags, and they replaced them with Palestinian flags,” Rosas reports. “Why isn’t this an insurrection?” asks Jill, pointing out the glaring hypocrisy. “Because the Democratic Party and their media friends have decided that it’s not,” says Blaze Media’s senior politics editor and Washington correspondent Christopher Bedford, adding, “What's striking about what we're seeing here — the flags being torn down, the cops being attacked, flags being burned — is how many members of Congress stand with these people.” “The members of Congress who actually did show up, which was not a lot of them ... some of [the Democrat members] wore some of the activist T-shirts that you actually see in the parade,” he continues. “Take the image ... of protesters ripping down and burning the American flag and put it next to Donald Trump with blood spotted across his face, putting his fist in the air next to the American flag, and ask people which side they want to choose.” To hear more analysis of the chaos in D.C., watch the episode above. Trans-identifying homeless man allegedly stabs Christian shelter employee in stomach over eviction

A trans-identifying man in South Carolina became so irate over a recent eviction from a homeless shelter that he allegedly stabbed an employee in the stomach with such force that her internal organs were exposed.Until recently, a 34-year-old homeless man going by the name Michelle Silva Perez had been staying at Shepherd's Gate, a Greenville homeless shelter — which is run by a Christian organization called Miracle Hill Ministries — designated to serve women and mothers with young children.Miracle Hill also issued a statement, claiming ignorance about Perez's true biological sex while he stayed at Shepherd's Gate but indicating it would have 'had no bearing' on his admission into or disqualification from the facility designated for women and young children.Last Wednesday night, Perez had been "disqualified" from staying at the shelter because he had violated facility guidelines, Miracle Hill said in a statement. The organization did not specify the nature of Perez's alleged violations.Exactly when Perez learned about his eviction is unclear, but the next morning Greenville police were called to the scene after Perez allegedly attacked a shelter employee on account of the eviction.According to reports, Perez pushed the employee to the ground in the Shepherd's Gate parking lot and then allegedly hoisted what the Greenville County Sheriff's Office called a "sharp-edged object" and what an arrest warrant referred to as a sword and began stabbing the employee with it.The stabbing apparently caused such severe wounds to the woman's stomach that when officers later viewed surveillance video of the attack, they could see some of the victim's internal organs on the outside of her body. Police apparently also could identify Perez as the perpetrator based on the video. The woman was rushed to a local hospital and underwent surgery. She "is currently stable and recuperating," Miracle Hill said.Meanwhile, Perez was arrested on charges of attempted murder and possession of a weapon during a violent crime and booked into the Greenville County Detention Center, though as of Thursday morning, his name does not appear in a jail records online database. Perez reportedly has been placed in isolation in a men's facility because he's allegedly in the midst of a so-called gender transition. Despite reality, the statement from the sheriff's office referred to Perez as "a woman" without any "trans" qualifiers. Blaze News reached out to the agency for further clarification about the statement. Spokesperson Lt. Ryan Flood told us: "I can tell you that [Perez] identifies as a female, and her [driver's license] indicates as such."Miracle Hill also issued a statement, claiming ignorance about Perez's true biological sex while he stayed at Shepherd's Gate but indicating it would have "had no bearing" on his admission into or disqualification from the facility designated for women and young children. "After the incident, we became aware in media reports that the former guest was transgender," the statement said in part. "Our ministry had no knowledge of this. That report, whether true or false, had no bearing on whether Miracle Hill would help, and did not contribute to the guest’s exit from the facility."Like Blaze News? Kamala Harris Could Actually Win

She’s a tragically flawed candidate, but so is Trump, who doesn’t have the media cheering for him from here to November.

Tombs and Gold Foils from the Ptolemaic Era Unearthed in Egypt’s Damietta

Archaeologists in Egypt have uncovered 63 mudbrick tombs and several simple burials containing a collection of gold foils from the 26th Dynasty of the Late Period. This correlates with the Ptolemaic era (305 BC-30 BC), with a number of bronze coins from the Hermetic period also found during the mission's excavations at the Tel Al-Deir cemetery in the new city of Damat. Dr. Muhammad Ismail Khalid, Secretary General of the Supreme Council of Antiquities, stated that this discovery aligns with the directives of the Minister of Tourism and Antiquities to prioritize Egyptian archaeological missions and uncover more secrets of ancient Egyptian civilization. The Egyptian Archaeological Mission of the Supreme Council of Antiquities, who carried out the dig, provided all this information in a press release.
